Quote from: heterHI. I tried to project again today and I felt some pretty strong sensations  in My chest and stomach with the point shift method. After maybe 15minutes of not projecting I quit. I realized that I still felt strange after word and I feel exhausted right now. Could it e that I projected but my consciousness did not go with my astral body? Or is the process just very demanding?

Its a very exhausting process. And when you stop you will still be in a trance so you feel groggy for a while. Its fun trying to walk around when still in a trance because you have bad balance and delayed reaction and impaired motor skills :D

Quote from: kerbe6That is actually one of my upcoming goals after a bit more exerience...Astral Pulse Island.

Do you know of any way that I can help myself to retain focus in the ethereal plane and not stray off into a dream?  Is it a case of just me wanting to stay there that will do it, or something more complex?

Thanks again and good luck with your projecting!

Peace
Brandon
Well I think the best way to get there is probably to print a pic and get it enlarged and use VRP(virtual reality projection) to get there. I have never tried VRP but want to soon. And Robert Bruce says it works good. And When your trying to stay in the ethereal just keep very focused on what you want to do and where you want to go. Don't let your mind wander. Its very hard staying in Ethereal. i cant do it very well either.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Key to OOBE?

You have to learn to go into the mindset of "I am going to relax and go to sleep", yet stay conscious. Thats is what meditation is. You may be straining your eyes as well and not noticing it. It happens to me too. I will try and project for like 20 mins only to realize that some part of my body and mind are not relaxed.
Don't get the impression that you are trying to keep your mind awake because that will cause you to think to much. You kind of have to train the subconscious to keep your mind awake so that you can totally relax your mind without falling asleep. You should not have trouble sleeping after an AP attempt. If you do it means your mind is waaay too wired for AP. OBE and sleep are extremely close together.

Yeah it was an OBE. Their doesn't have to be an astral footprint for you to see something there. the subconscious mind can create things in the astral realm just like it can in dreams.  Once you leave your body its very hard to stay in the ethereal realm for very long. It is the place that resembles physical reality. Once you start slipping into the astral realm you kind of fade into it so aspects of both dimensions are perceived and they mix together.

Maybe there is a form of control beyond Bush, manipulating the people running for office. And maybe they effect how the people running for office appear to the public.  Maybe someone is controlling everything?

And they released the new Bin Laden tape right before election. Maybe that was a play by bush in order to win the American peoples favor. Seen as how everyone knows he is so Gung-ho on terrorism they might not want to switch to a peaceful president at such a time because they are afraid of binladin? Its cowardly!

America is raping the middle east(bush rather, in Americas name) and either way it wont end till all the oil is gone, or you guys get a more responsible president in there. This whole thing is all just about $$ and power.

[quote} Corruptness in government is by no means any new concept, even in America. Some people are too trusting in those that rule us.[/i][/quote]

Government has been corrupt since the beginning of civilization!!
