Welcome to News and Media! / Religious Damage
September 29, 2005, 20:41:25
while i'm not religious, i don't think its right to say its religions fault for all this (besides don't most religions forbid aborition and sex outside of marrige, so how can they say its increases aborion rates and teen pregnancy?), sounds like a scientists cheap ploy to try and get everyone to stop believing in religion and focus on what scientists can proove, though i dont dissagree about the violence cause of religions part (christians and islamic religions are the main ones)

Quote from: jasonI think the scientists/astronomers have named the tenth planet "Sedna".

It's got this wacko,6000 year elliptical orbit, I think. :?

nah, sedna's a totally different thing, they decided not to classify sedna as a planet due to its size

i expirience something similiar to this often, where when going to bed at night a spirit/ghost (Have no idea what really) puts its hands on me (i sleep facing the wall so on my back its hands are), first few times this happend it startled me but now it doesn't bother me, i've grown used to it over time also similar to you knightlight the hands don't move (Well occasionaly they have but only for a short while)

while i can sense spirits/ghosts i can't sense wether their good or bad, so i have no idea why it does it maybe it expects a response (never have even said anything to a spirit), if it really bothers you try asking it to go away or something

Quote from: James SAgain I'd like to stress that there is nothing mystical about the chakras. There is nothing magical about awakening certain ones, as simple awareness of a chakra, be it visual or tactile, will open it up. The thing that is most important about the chakras though is BALANCE. To pay special attention to secondary chakras you must first have all the primary chakras active and healthy. Not to do so is a sure way to bring on illness both physical and emotional.

Blessings,
James.

i wouldn't say that, i can activate whatever chakra is in the foot area at will, yet i defiantly haven't got all the primary chakra's active and healthy as such (throat one defiantly needs some work), yet i haven't had any emotional or physical problems

*shrugs* there are probably more planets in our solar system, i mean if it took this long just to find a 10th planet (besides technicly there is 11 planets, sedna though they decided not to count it as a planet due to it being smaller than pluto is still technicly a planet).

Quote from: HammishAh but who is to say that god is not the devil in disguise? No I don't believe it either but I'm an atheist. Personally I don't believe in such a thing as good and evil since they are human creations. And respect those who don't share the same beliefs.

true i mean whats that saying - "the devils greatest trick is convincing man he doesn't exist" or something like that, how do you know the god of the bibles greatest trick is convincing man that he is the good one when he is the bad one, i mean the one in the bible despite supposedly being a loving god often told people to rape/kill others

Quote from: FrogletI've heard about humans who have lived with out eating... I think Robert Monroe said he met one such person in his books... anyone know about this?

if anyone succeeded at that then they were better than even buddah, he failed at an attempt to do that

Quote from: NeoSaturnI have had sleep paralysis 2 times, and it was hell both times, you cant, move, scream, and you fell an evil presence.

but worst of all you are conscious while it happens, yet you cant even move

the times I've had sleep paralysis, I've never felt a evil presence, just felt like there was something (felt like a cat) walking on my bed, but due to my position i couldn't see what was there (i was facing the wall, and the thing i felt walking was out of my view at the base of the bed)

i highly doubt it, my first AP was when i was 15 i heard that when were young (around the age of 5) we do it without meaning to and not knowing it

well seeing through your eye lids is kinda like remote viewing except its directly in front of you, people can do this if they train to do it but if this is your first go then thats impressive if you managed to have a proper view through your closed eyelids, some say it is you seeing through your 3rd eye
#41
just wondering, but is there a way to tell the presence just to stop, i don't mind it being there just it pesters me when i'm trying to sleep (it pushes down on the side of the bed, sometimes makes the bed vibrate, touches me ect.)

i know well enough that it can read my mind (as it has read my thoughts and spoken back in a different voice in my mind rarely), yet thinking positive thoughts does nothing to it
#42
i don't know, some say dopplegangers appear to those that either will die or have a relative dying, so prehaps it is true if the grim reaper is an actual figure that exists

Quote from: kenshinbig ben (as in the giant clock in london), on another forum there have been two expiriments to try and meet up with each other out of body, the 2nd one was big ben,

Hi kenshin

The Big Ben experiment was proferred by me!  It was going to be my first astral birthday and I suggested an astral party on top of Big Ben.

Did you get there?  I never made it.  Did I leave any astral canapes out for you?!!

You'd think I'd have a good chance of achieving this - I work in London and pass Big Ben close up at least twice a week.

Sarah

i did astral project to big ben, but i'm not sure if this is the same expirment where talking about, it was part of the forum http://www.outofbody.co.uk/cgi-bin/obeforum/YaBB.pl

specific link to the topic it was in: http://www.outofbody.co.uk/cgi-bin/obeforum/YaBB.pl?board=experiments;action=display;num=1070647297
i can't at all remember anyone mentioning a party

Quote from: Moonburn33red and orange are close to each other... it's perfectly normal

10,000 years later: no, the moon still isn't being eaten by monsters

hows it perfectly normal, the moon should be a whitish always, yet sometimes it appears either red or orange (the red is darker than the orange so its not the same colour just voiced as different coulours by people)

can't be normal if its such a rare case of it being red or orange

Quote from: Empathicno its weird to explain....ive seen people who can cause lightinging to strike in certain places and cause storms and cause some of the skys aura to change minorly and if it were them causing the moon to be "orange" (meaning temporarly changing the aura) then that would cause things that are affected by the moon would screw up...Hint hint

oh, i thought you mean the phyicle appearance.

btw does anyone know what makes the moon look red sometimes? i mean i doubt liturally the surface of the moon turns red, yet it appears red at site, is there something in our atmosphere that makes it appear red at times? since i like it during the rare cases of a red moon

Quote from: Empathicwas it an orange moon?  because if so i know why.....

an orange moon? i've seen a red moon and a white moon but orange? now i know why there are cartoons that show the moon as being made out of cheese

big ben (as in the giant clock in london), on another forum there have been two expiriments to try and meet up with each other out of body, the 2nd one was big ben, sure the expiriment failed (due to the different time zones everyone had) but it was a cool being up ontop of a giant clock (though the expiriment might be a part success since some woman that was part of the expiriment claimed she saw a man that smiled at her and saw her precense so who knows maybe it did work)
#48
is this a joke topic, there is no images of any ghosts (orbs or otherwise) that could not of personally be done with you.

edit: well there is a circle like thing that could be an orb in the 2nd pic so i was wrong

Quote from: baddspellahl4you do know that there are only three things that separate women from men right?(if you don't know what those three things are, too bad)

lol you'd either have to live on a deserted island or be under 7 years old to not know what they are so no one on this forum would not know what they are

anyway men & woman are equal when it comes to magic and stuff like that
