How can we expect to have civil communication with no order, no hierarchy of control in this forum.  If everyone just went around and modified whatever is in-congruent with their posts what the hell is the point of a forum.

Your one man crusade against the evils of Astral Pulse is little more than elitism and a pitiful person struggling for martyrdom.  You're not the white knight riding in on his horse to save the kingdom.  You are not the only one who knows "truth".  You need to accept that others are capable of complex thought and have experience to share.

There's no quick fix for this.  Its just a natural part of spiritual expansion.  If self-knowledge is your path, kundalini will rise.

Firstly, morals are non-existant.  Astral or physical.  There can be a healthy respect for the life and journey of another but that doesn't imply morality.

Second, an Astral relationship based on mutual energy exchange for the sake of experiencing the energy of another is one thing.  Having a subconscious obsession with sex is another and its in the astral where this becomes apparent.  Thats how I discovered how preoccupied with sex I really was.

You should check out a book called "Astral Projection and the nature of reality" by John Magnus.  He had a lot of sexual stuff to deal with when he started projecting.

One's "locus" (Latin for "place" or "location") can either be internal (meaning the person believes that they control their life) or external (meaning they believe that their environment, some higher power, or other people control their decisions and their life).

My point is that your reasoning goes both ways.  You're right, we don't know much about the brain.  

Lighting up in the same place only shows that the brain is doing some kind of work in those places.  Maybe our interpretation of that is wrong.  Maybe the brain is doing work on the neural connections in the places where it was active that day.

That doesn't necessarily imply that what is being recorded is dream activity.  I'm a psych student and have seen plenty of studies regarding dreams and their connection to the brain.  From my experiences in altered states and dream work, I'm just not convinced.  But I'm also a little anti-science so I am certainly biased.

Is it not possible that while the physical body sleep the brain does housecleaning?  That could light up an MRI, but doesn't mean that what is being seen is activity of a dream.  Perhaps that's indirect proof that dreaming is taking place at the same time as house cleaning, but there's nothing to say that dreams have any kind of physical basis other than a physical counterpart that takes place simultaneously.

You're trying to hard.  Bottom line.  You need to let your consciousness drift into almost sleep.  Total single-minded focus.  This is why I really don't understand how anyone can do the rope method because it keeps your mind too active.  I tried for a really long time, following Robert Bruce's directions to the T and never even got close.  Then one day I just stopped and tried not trying and it worked.

I can feel myself kind of buzzing and I just begin to rise, then I "push" myself upwards with my will and THEN i roll out.

I don't even do energy work prior to projection anymore because it keeps my mind too stimulated.

I take all of my mind with me.

I agree with Tiny though, your activities are good energy work.  Being active helps a lot. 

Perhaps you might consider taking up Tai Chi or something similar.

This guy sounds exactly like my boss when he 'channels' some enlightened master.  Exactly.  Creepy.

Anyway, transcendental meditation was a big fad some years ago I think.

When I was like 18 I was researching a metaphysical university based on this guy and transcendental meditation.

I really liked how he talked about meditation and self-discovery too.

When I was a kid, I watched the episode of X-Files where Scully has a chip removed from her after being abducted and she tries to scan it on a grocery store scanner.  I watched it at a friend's house and his dad told me he had been abducted and had an implant in his finger and showed me this bump on his finger.  I later found out that it was a piece of metal that he had gotten stuck under his skin as a kid.

But it scared the crap out of me for a few days.

I constantly have this unshakeable feeling that reality is kind of a joke.

You know, like all of this is a dream like in waking life or we're just inhabiting the equivalent of an atom inside the leg of some bigger creature and all the galaxies we see are just other electrons or something.  So the one that we're all a part of is a leg.

Its a creepy feeling.

No vip, no projection for me yet.  BUT!  I have started practicing again.  I tried yesterday and kind of tried today.  I fell asleep both times.  I didn't really try hard today, but I made a real attempt yesterday.  I've been a little too tired and rundown lately though.  It's finals week at school.  I had a final tuesday, one today then I have two more next week and I have a couple projects to finish up by next week.  After that though, I'm going to have a very spiritually profound summer i think.  I'll have lots of time to practice with few stressors.

I'm also planning to quit smoking next week, gonna start aikido this summer, and I'm gonna do a detox diet and maybe go veg for a little while.  I saw a psychic at my work a couple weeks ago and she told me to just take it easy on the AP and it would come back easily in good time.   She also told me to start doing more psychic readings as it will help keep my intuitive channels open.  We shall see what happens.

From Kurt's particular scale and position in reality, interaction with alien entities known as greys is a common occurrence.  This experience may not hold true from anyone else's scale and position (ie perspective).
