Is it possible to be one with the subconsciousness?

I believe it is, though I can't say I've experienced it. Buddhists calls it nirvana... and this is just a guess, but Frank Kepple's Focus 4 may be an equivalent.

Quote from: Voyager on April 23, 2011, 16:26:29In contrast the consciousness is like a nought.
Who controls whom in fact?
Is it the consciousness or the subconsciousness?

Both play a role to varying degrees in each individual. The subconscious controls instinct, intuition, raw emotion... the conscious controls decision making through logic, higher thinking, etc.

Quote from: Voyager on April 23, 2011, 16:26:29The subconsciousness is much able to do things than people think.
But how to get the key to set it in motion?

Control of the mind through meditation.

No sweat.

Quote from: Contenteo on April 23, 2011, 00:52:52You rest them looking at your nose or bent all the way back?

What I do when I have problems resting my eyes... I briefly switch my intent to falling asleep. Your eyes will relax into the position you fall asleep with (in theory) and you can resume your focus exercise.

Nice model... I'm tempted to introduce a third diversion from F10/Sleep Paralysis... that of 1st phase. This can diverge with any Focus level as it seems to run parallel to that particular thread.

I've read F10 is more or less a very light trance, not sleep paralysis... now I'm confused.

puppet account? i could take it as an insult to be called a puppet, but i dont even know you, you with your vast amount of imagination and assumptions

It doesn't take a 'vast amount of imagination' to realize this account was registered 13 minutes after the other one, only common sense... but if you had even that you'd address this forum with some tact, especially when trying to persuade us to go on your little pseudo mission to bring truth to the world. Newsflash... the truth is already there. People will acknowledge it when they're ready... which is why this forum gets a steady increase in members. You on the other hand... honestly I think you're just here to kill time and have a laugh at someone's expense. How sad.

I can go from Conscious State to 'Fall Asleep' to F21... assuming F21 includes the vibrational state. Also there are more Focus levels beyond F21. Not a bad diagram, though.

Let's get one thing out of the way... I have nothing to prove to you, nor does anyone else here.

You want surefire techniques on a silver platter? You're in the wrong place, bro. I'd direct you to the Astral FAQ, Permanent Astral Topics sections, and Xanth's (the mod here) website... just like I would for any ordinary person that comes here with an interest in the topic. You aren't any more special than them so you aren't about to be given the royal treatment.

If you have questions or need help along the way, feel free to ask. If you get frusterated and your goal changes into discrediting this practice I don't doubt one of the mods will serve you up a fat helping of BAN... but not before you digest this humble pie... trust me, it'll benefit you in the end.

I want to be able to have an Out Of Body Experience, and usually when i want something, i get it. Its just the general thing with me and my life, everything i have seeked, i have gotten. And so therefore , i can conclude that if i do not get this Out Of Body Expererience reasonably soon, it does mean that its highly like the whole thing is a hoax.

Hahaha, wow.. I stopped reading there.

If you know you're dreaming what sense is there pulling yourself out of it? If you have full awareness and cognitive function you're already projecting. Trying to wake up will cause you to... wake up.

I believe it's actually the worst brain disease known to mankind... it's what's called an "idea".

Hahaha, this... not many people I've come across are infected with that disease so you don't have to worry much, OP.

Phasing: Method to induce a fully conscious experience where you're fully aware

Lucid Dream: Experience where you're not fully conscious but you're aware that you're dreaming

Dream: Experience where you're neither fully conscious nor aware that you're dreaming

It sounds like you were in a pre-projection state but not quite there... I had similar natural projections as a child that went away as I grew older. Meditation reawakened that ability in me, so it could very well work for you.

The cure all... meditation and energy work.

- I can lay down an over a period of 5-20 minutes and my body below neck goes numb - proficiently - EZ
- I can focus and achieve vibrations - EZ
- The vibrations take me upward (just slightly, not like rocket, thats what worries me)

I'd call this F10.

Quote from: Contenteo on April 20, 2011, 21:19:16
- I enter a new blackness that is VAST, i cannot tell if it is 3-D since i have no frame of reference
- Then I have major hyperventilation problems at the start, but am almost over them through practice(Solution: I feel my chest rise to touch blanket to confirm breathe)
-KEY - when i enter this place, i feel as though someone threw a sheet over me while i was still laying in bed
- Thus I feel my body ever so slightly, and down below the vastness

And I'd call this F12.

I am not sure when I am not supposed to not feel my body or really how to get away from it. (Frank said to roll out/blast off)

On some level you'll recognize your perception of your body slip away as you move deeper in trance, but this can't be at the forefront of your mind... your focus exercise has to be.

The 3D Blackness is the finish line, if you will. Here you feel like you're in a void of nothingness about to plunge into an experience... sorta like being forced off a high cliff at night. You don't need to roll out or anything, you'll pop out somewhere... having intent of where you want to visit helps.

It seems like you reached the pre-projection state. Now you just need to overcome your fear and learn how to operate within this unnatural environment. The truth is you really have nothing to fear or be scared of... internalize this and the rest is just overcoming that "in the moment" fear. Most successful APers had to at some point, even the top dog of AP, Robert Munroe. I recommend you practice meditation, as this makes for a calm mind. It will also help you focus in the pre-projection state, which is like surfing a wave. If you choke, you're left to catch the next one if it even comes along. If you focus, you'll ride the wave to the shore.

And binaural beats work for some and don't for others... work with them but don't get too dependent on them.

I've tangled with depression for years... it's extremely difficult for me to find emotional stimulation pursuing typical physical endeavors, so I detach. The only sure way to "color" my world is when my head is up in the clouds, projecting or pondering metaphysics, nature, eastern philosophy, etc. My opinion... it's as good a time as any. My negative experiences are few and far between as well, so go for it.

Well how the hell do you guys listen to the "dooooo" (lol) noises for like 20 or 40 minutes without getting bored?

The same way you meditate/focus/attempt projection without getting bored. Feeling bored is a distracting thought construct you need to rid your mind of.

I think when we get too attached to the physical we let our desires run rampant on us... love being a major one.
#319
I've rarely fallen into projection before going to bed... your body craves sleep at this point so you're fighting an uphill battle. Fall asleep, then when you wake up, force yourself up (this will be the hardest part) then do your routine after maybe 10-20 minutes.

Any action one takes can be broken down into an action of self-interest or "selfishness", therefore it's not really the issue. We're talking about when one's happiness acts as a barrier to another's.
#321
Sounds like another word for the "higher self" concept... put those keywords through a search.

Quote from: Dalandar on April 14, 2011, 12:42:07hat i mean is that , what makes most people happy is usualy , love, money, fame and luxury right ??  but what if my areas of interest do not include any of these things?? could i still be happy ??  What if i wish we lived in a world filled with magic , mythical creatures , rifts opening to other dimensions. the ability to clearly comunicate with any living things, the ability to fly without the use of any technology. In fact i wish we could live in a world where magic would completly replace all techonology.  I'm sure you would all tell me i'm just a lunatic right ??  By the way i know i am .

If these things make you happy, you already answered your own question. Don't let people impose their priorities and standards on you. You are the one living your life, not them. With that said, we all have to play this game of birth/growth/death in the physical. They don't say life's a grump without reason. If we have things in our life that make us happy it makes things a lot easier to get through, though. If your magic-related interests aren't cutting it in this respect, perhaps you should consider pursuing things that will. In that regard, yes I think the law of attraction works. People take each other at face value, period. If you feel larger than life, you'll act larger than life, you'll seem larger than life. Your psyche is the ONLY barrier.

Quote from: Dalandar on April 14, 2011, 12:42:07Another question that comes to my mind is that , is it possible that creatures such as the Jersey Devil, The yeti, The Mothman, the Chupacabra and Mermaids have been summoned by people into this world by using the law of attraction ?

I doubt these things exist as part of the physical plane, but who knows?

You do what you think is right, Razputin. But remember: there was an ocean once. Every water molecule was connected. It was an ocean, it was one. Every ripple, every wave meant interaction with itself. Then the temperature changed, things slowed down, and the ocean froze. A massive something shattered the ocean into a myriad individual pieces of ice. Each with their own shape, property and identity. The ocean in its new shattered form, with the shards of ice, created the illusion of individually. It seemed that the WHOLE ocean was no more, but it was still there for nothing had truly vanished.

Great analogy. It's a sad thing when a rain drop thinks it can overtake an ocean.

You should try communicating with your newborn OOB... be interesting to know if babies are actually competent entities outside of the physical plane.

All you're left with is the memory of a weird conversation in a strange club and the knowledge that, at the time, it was like WOW!

This. It's like riding a rollercoaster... you feel the rush, the ride ends, and you're left with a memory that can never fully capture that rush. If your memory had that ability, why would you need the rollercoaster?

I've had the same questions kicking around in my head so every once in a while I'll have an OBE and take the time to absorb the realty of it. I think to myself, "Yup... it doesn't get more real than this." When I wake up, how can I doubt myself at that point? Perhaps you should try that... just absorb the reality of the experience.
