Hi SoulDragon,

Healing is gift that we all have the potential to employ (as an innate loving quality of our true nature). Not only to aspire to help and benifet others, but also for ourselves in turn on many levels. The very thought of thinking positively for another or reciting with intent a wishful healing prayer can and does work miracles.

You may find the Healing with the Heart article a valuable technique to learn as an example see: www.astralpulse.com/articles/robert/articles_45.htm

To aspire to heal is a truly wonderful calling, and I am sure a teacher will appear just at the right moment for you.

All the best with your learning journey and good luck with your healings!

Hi all,

I have found it invaluable to observe how this thread has developed, and sincerely appreciate your thoughts as they have materialized into view on this most unique of platforms on the net! I thought it might be timely to feed another morsel of food for thought! So do please find an interesting snippet cut from the entry on wordiq.com at the end of my rambling muse - see: http://www.wordiq.com/definition/American_Empire

Personally I regard myself as apolitical after nigh on rejecting politics as a big fat raw deal - having in my formative years been brought up in an overtly politicized family and culture. So normally I would not partake in this type of debate, but then I am guilty of starting this thread (ho hum)!

Yet an innate curiosity must have sneaked into my mind from somewhere! Seeking to explain this question for myself may have been in part due to: how I see myself (as only but one minute player) sharing the stage with all spiritually evolving (or reawakening) individuals in our times! Like many of your good selves I have been for not some small time: feeling and thinking about bigger questions (ha ha)! Certainly ones way beyond the closed modern historical analysis portrayed within the article/d documentary introduced at the start of the thread.

For example could it not be argued whether the United States is viewed as an empire or not, that there is a need in today's global community at large: to evolve from myopic tribal thinking (as an Empire might be considered as tribal model at the extreme) to a more enlightened and mature standing as a magnificent collective of ensouled beings who share and share alike in glorious harmony and transcendent love this small spot in time and space on planet Earth!

Regardless if we buy into New Age thinking or not – is it not high dry time to reject dominator thinking and ideology? How do we in fact move beyond the pale, jump out of the Jack in the box and sever the strings of the false prophets? Is it as blinding simple as embracing wholeheartedly our dual nature as physical and spiritual beings to live in harmony on heaven on Earth? Is this purely idealistic clap-trap, or a true potential waiting to emerge from the chrysalis, a phoenix raised from the ashes of humanity's final desperate call at the end of time?

Enough of my rambling...  and amateur diatribe on politics and spirituality [;)]

American Empire

For other uses, see American Empire (disambiguation)
American Empire is an informal, emotionally freighted term that is used to collectively describe the United States' influence and trends toward political expansion beyond the bounds of continental North America, an extension of the expansive American theme of 'Manifest Destiny'.

Contemporary use of the term

Today, what many consider to be the "American Empire" does not fit historical definitions of imperialism and colonialism, but the United States influence takes on different and discreet forms. America's military presence by itself is breathtaking and influential. According to researchers [1] (http://www.inthenationalinterest.com/Articles/Vol2Issue29/Vol2Issue29Ferguson.html), around the world, the United States maintains 750 military bases or installations staffed by American military personnel in roughly 130 countries. The economic influence of American corporations is also substantial.
The term "American Empire" is today often mostly used as derogatory expression to personify America's military and cultural presence in nations around the world.

At the same time, many statesmen, scholars, and historians within the United States insist that America "is" an empire in the sense that the country holds tremendous power over the world, comparable to other great empires of history. Many thus argue that the United States should thus not shy away from using this power as a way of maintaining order, peace, and safety for both America and the world at large. This is ideology is exemplified by the neoconservative Project for the New American Century, which became influential in the 2003 decision to invade Iraq. As stated in PNAC's principles:
We need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles. [2] (http://newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm)

While supporters cite such ideology as one with motivations of global peace and stability, many in opposition view it as harmful to diversity, and reject the notion of a single dominating superpower in order to maintain "balance", "equality", "mutual respect", and "harmony" among all nations around the world.

P.S. Igonore every little word in my post - I have been deeply humbled by Nay's post in http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12807 A must read 1st (LOL)

Stephen, thankyou for the link. I think i'm going to buy a few beers before reading anymore- its pretty disturbing stuff.

Please note: My mentioning of America/Americans was an attempt to show the flawed logic and does not necessarily reflect my real views on the subject.

In a way, it would seem a case could be made for Witches/Wiccans/Satanists being child abusers.

I think i'll start a new thread shortly on the neg connection to child abuse.

Hi McArthur,

I hope I demonstrated that I took your comments in the light you have now confirmed. If not can I express that I do so now!

Yes, this is a truly frightening subject to deal with openly, as it may well touch painful cords within some of the other users!!

It may well be somewhat off subject for this particular thread, so a new one on this may well be appropriate to enable reasonable debate on this deeply sensitive issue.

Kind wishes,

Well i think that it is rediculous to think that someone would go through all that training and devote their life to a religion 'just' to get to the children. I am pretty damn sure that most were not pedophiles before, but they just eventually cracked from the pressure.

Allow me to use similar logic: In the large majority of child abuse cases involving priests that i have read about, it has been in America. Therefore 'i am pretty damn sure' that being American might be a factor in whether someone becomes a child abuser.

Or, the only cases of child incest i have ever come across have been Americans. Therefore being American is probably a factor in whether someone sexually abuses their own child.

(No offense intended to Americans.)

Might it not be suggested that if my suspicion that child abuse is connected to neg interference is correct, that negs would choose to attempt to influence those with access to children?

Hi,

Surely this is a pandemic issue and not singularly located in the Americas or the US. Ireland has it fill of truly appalling abuse cases involving the clergy, but also notorious cover ups like the Knicora scandal and similar see: http://www.missingpersons-ireland.freepress-freespeech.com/ChildAbuseandSRAbuseinIreland.htm (I appreciate that the contect of that particular site - has extreme conspiracy tpye opinion), but nevertheless the case and issues existed.

Australia had also huge problems with cover ups concerning paedophile priests, and cases can be easily found via a basic internet search.

Whether Negs are the primary influence or not – it seems blindingly apparent that influential people in clerical and secular positions of responsibility - could have put paid to or at least had a rein of control over many of the individuals, and groups perpretrating the acts of foul inhumanity to children decades if not generations ago!

One wonders,

Hi,

Just a question really: when did you feel the 'body jump' – was it definitely before you felt you started to rise/slip out of my body or afterwards?

Sometimes I felt a whole body jolt just immediately as I move out, but also experience a variety of sensations (as discussed widely by users on the forum) before being aware of going OBE. Perhaps it would help if you write out the sequence of events in a little more detail and then post to this thread again (if you do not mind and have time that is)!

Cheers,

Stephen

First off, I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong part of the forum, I'm not really sure where to put it. If it should be moved please feel free to move it.

Right so on a few occations - normally without thinking about it - I've felt myself start to rise/slip out of my body - like an astral projection I guess. But When I become fully aware of it my body jumps and it stops. Hope can I prevent this jump so that I can achieve the projection?

Kai

Hi Kai,

I think we all get those sensations. I for instance was trying some early morning practice and had similar jolts. On this occaison that was as far as I got as well. Next time try to ride the waves, and I am sure you will find success in good time!

Hi Tjoe,

1st of all welcome to the forum! I think it is good to maintain health level of scepticism, as it will enable one to question ones own experiences from a clear headed perspective.

No doubt most of the people using the forum would agree that they would not be interacting here if not having gone through similar experiences and changes in belief system etc.

Hope you enjoy your visits here.

All the best,

Hi,

Go to a shop or buy privately - ones you can actually handle, feel and hear the tone of. Then you know what you are getting! Be warned you may fall in love with one that costs a whole much more than you can afford.... save, save, save until you get the right one as there is nothing worse than regretting a waste of good money on worthless scraps of wood and metal.

Vain wisdom from sad old bloke who recently picked up a guitar again after decades of missing his old axe! Personally I got a Seagull acoustic (Canadian and very nice for the money). Do not what ever you do try a Martin as you may not want to walk out of the shop without it, and they cost the Earth... just aspire to one! The base level ones are not worth getting anyhow

Hope you get a good un [:)].. that's my two pennies worth!

Oh yes, highly auspicious that one!!!

Asked a Kiwi girl once about hers (stone pendant that is) while vainly attempting to chat her up, and she explained they can be quite rare and really lucky things to have especially if given and received as a gift (take with pinch of salt if you wish).

Stephen

P.S. Your posts are good, and looks like the clairvoyance is coming on well with you[^]

I think you need plenty of daylight if you are not very experienced in seeing auras and chakras. From what I remember is, that my chakra spinned counter-clockwise for me to see, which means for someone watching me it would have been spinning clockwise. In Tibetan Five you are advised to spin your body only clockwise, never in the other direction when performing that exercises. Tibetan Five is a very powerful method of balancing your chakra energies.

A summury is found here: http://bioresonant.com/tibetan5.html

Correct me please, if what I stated is incorrect.

Hi,

Cheers for the link... One can test the spin or at least activity by dowsing the primary centres (also hands and feet) with a pendulum. Don't be put off if the results seem poor or however - as it would only be considered a very basic experiment. Works best after any bodywork/energy work as one might expect etc.

Hi Kerri,

Absolutely worthy of a new thread!

Personally my experience only covers adult education – having worked as a trainer in various roles and across a broad range of subject fields.

Personally I would find it difficult to begin to attempt to respond to your questions. But would like you would very much value learning about the opinion on this issue of educators, parents and most importantly the kids themselves!

Yet, I can appreciate that this is clearly a needs based issue - which may well require a analysis, public lobby buy in, and eventually a long term solution to be put in place to become effective. I am not familiar with primary and secondary education models in the States, although Montessori Schools do exist over here, and as far as I understand resides within the private education sector as well!

Good luck on this one – I for one will be fascinated to see how the resulting discussion here will unravel!

I think you are sowing some good seeds here!!!

Kind wishes,

Stephen [:)]

yeah, jeandots, that was a nice display of word choice. What is REALLY sad and ironic is this:

If the rest of the world knew the innermost thoughts and desires of most Americans, it would be the same as theirs; we just want quiet lives. We don't want wars, we don't want to fight anybody or cause problems. We don't want to SAVE THE WORLD because our society and political leaders aren't capable of doing that. Saving the world will come from a much different aspect, and even that term is not accurate. Do we really need saving, or are our individual paths proceding just the way they're supposed to?

Hi,

No matter what s*&t goes on around us on the global stage - I for one am glad we have a forum like this - where each individual can have their say and express often very profound experiences and sometimes a need to unload!

For me as one it is always a delight to be able to have opportunity to interact with you all!

You all make a difference in the scheme of things and your contribution here is really valued - I have no doubt in that at all in my mind about that one!

Hi,

Hi,

Thank you all for your responses thus far to this thread.

Although in starting the thread I was interested to see how people thought about the documentary or at least the concepts postulated in the brief overview on the C4 site.

I was not quite sure why I posted the thread in the 1st instance, but had an innate curiosity bubbling in the background to try to understand in particular: how US American people individually feel about their nation's influence and how it sits in the greater scheme of things!

It seems easy to be occluded as an individual by consensus thinking on this subject. In my opinion hysterical feelings and sentiment being expressed by for instance the media and political manipulators around the world makes it seem that the peoples of the nations of the world do not value and respect: not only the USA as a nation but also its good citizens.

In my mind this is a true shame: as no country and people have had more opportunity to bring benefit (at least material) to all peoples and nations. As a matter of shared responsibility with us all: can the US finally contribute to seeking and implementing real and meaningful resolutions to the big issues faced in the world as per its aparant aspirations?

Or are we just waiting on this spinning mote of dust to see if the US just turns into another faded memory of past glory and shame?

I'm no social sciences guru – but I really wanted to understand not only how you all feel about this subject, but also to see how looking at the bigger picture might give a more illuminated perspective on things.

Sorry if this sounds like idealistic clap trap (bahh)

Kind wishes,

Stephen

Hi Malevicta,

Very much appreciate you taking effort to relate your experiences and clearly you are alarmed! You seem like a really nice person and I am sure things will sort themselves out and have a sensible explanation given time.

I feel that you have come to the right place and it is obvious that whatever is troubling you to this extent must stop. There are plenty of people here who can help.

In the mean time you may find the articles on the main site on subjects like Astral Sex and Psychic Protection useful. Take time to read them see: http://www.astralpulse.com/articles/articles.htm or http://www.astralpulse.com/magick/magick.htm

I am going to keep my reply short, but be comforted that help will be on its way. In the mean time take time out to clear your mind as best you can before retiring at night. Use whatever means you are comfortable with in terms of prayers of protection according to your faith. Hopefully the feelings of wanting to be, and of seeming to be under or subject to control will abate. You must trust that this will come about, OK!!!

Kind wishes,

Stephen [:)]
