To all,

You are so right; it is very easy to become entangled in expectations.  I didn't think I was going to have a problem with the emotional control and Intent problem but Geez  was I ever wrong. These rules are hard to really and truly control.  Truthfully, I had a small suspicion I was programming my projections, but I also think that my guide is partially responsible with her intent to teach me lessons.  I didn't mind this at first.

I  do see it as a great opportunity for learning and the lessons have  been useful info.  But after a couple weeks of this and numerous lessons later, I want to go out and explore the great Astral.     Now that I know I am in control  (thank you Frank!)  I will whole heartedly say and feel that I will go to the Astral to meet new people and totally expect to be there after I Phase.  I hope the lessons still resume but not ALL the time.

Yes the guide thing is totally new to me  and it is a BIG relief http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0> to know that I will not offend them if I feel I must be bold.  And is a real comfort to know that they are guiding and watching over us, I guess we could call them our Astral Family.  Neat!!

Thanks for the help for this confusing problem  It was upsetting that I felt locked in these lessons ,and  a relief to know  it is an "intent"  problem on my behalf .  So knowing I won't have to be bold with the guides (not yet anyway) thank goodness I can relax with them.

I will tell my first astral tale (when I actually have one).

Appreciatively,

Tracy

No problem Adrian,

I agree with you on the importance of phasing, and it is great to hear that you are making up references sheets.  I'm not sure how new projecting into the astral using the mind is ,but since it is a new chapter in projecting ...PERIOD.... others should be able to experience it.  It makes me wonder if we are opening  a new door to the next level in spiritual achievment....   The next step up the spiritual ladder from the physical and closer to each persons enlightenment if they truely want to achieve it.

Ok, sometimes I get a little mooshy especially when I write.  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>  I feel so bad for my writing teacher.

Tracy

ps.  If there are spots in the references that need you need help on, open a thread and maybe we can help!

Yeh,  that upward rush is shocking when it happens, almost feels like the startings of an OBE but it  isn't of course.  And I know that feeling of not having parts of your body, don't let it bother you though.  Maybe if you ask for the sensation of your legs to come back, this is what I'm going to try.

Keep up the good work!

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Telekinesis

I'm there with you Tom, recently I decided to try also.  Of all the literature I have read says this:

1. Try not to think of anything at all but just gaze at it.  I know this sounds lame but they swear by it.

2. A suggestion given by another individual is to focus your point of conscious at the object (psi wheel).  I haven't tried this yet and who knows what to do after you are focused.

3. It seems that a lot of people have problems with moving the wheel with the glass over it, even the experienced.

4.  Recently I tried concentrating on my third eye while looking at the wheel.  It was so incredible.  After around ten minutes of doing this, not thinking of anything of course, I started to get that strange energy tingling in my forhead.    The wheel started to show streaks of electric blue crawling on it, no kidding!  It didn't move but sure was interesting.  Maybe it was some kind of auric energy, who knows.  Give it a try.

Anyway good luck and I hope these techniques help.  I usually don't recommend other sites but take a peak at www.psipog.net; they have some wonderful literature on the subject.  It's on the first page under articles.  Take a look at the media also if you haven't been there yet.

They are a little negative sometimes ,but you have to admitt some of their ideas are interesting.   They really are creative individuals.  Personally, I use shields everyday.

Ok, I haven't seen my whole body while projecting (say in a mirror) but I happened to see my arms, which felt totally strange to view them.  I usually feel like a point of consciousness, just a small floating state of existence and to see arms coming out from this thought form felt weird.  This is all very new to me.  So, we have an actual body.   Maybe if I keep that in mind next time I project, it will not feel so strange.

And concerning the newspaper, I am with you PSI.  I think since the attention is focused on the paper, the arms will not melt.

Thanks for all your help everyone!  This solves one problem out of the sea of mystery.

Donna,

That is an amazing journey; I wonder why you could not see?  Maybe there were parts of the journey that being physical beings, we are not allowed to see yet since it is in the higher realms.

Do you think that if we asked for a guide or maybe our personal guide to visit one of those interdymentional schools, that this could be possible?
Who knows, maybe there is a waiting list for visitors.  Someday, when I am more stable on the Astral, I will have to ask.   How exciting!

I'm sure there are all sorts of different schools good and bad so being specific in the description will definitely be needed.

I wonder who that glowing being is supposed to be?  Do you have any ideas?

What a great experience thanks for sharing!

Tracy

Adrian,

Wow, I have no idea after all these months of learning, why I never associated these experiences as OBE related.  I just never thought that OBEs could happen just like that.  Since it seems like OBEs have a mass amount of energy involved, that spontaneous OBEs would be  near to impossible.  I remember reading about them in AD but I thought this could only happen to individual who retain high energy levels naturally.

All this time of hiding this unnamed experience that no one believed I had, and here I am finally learning about my spiritual self and poof ......it  really has a meaning.  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

Thank you so much!

Try using your power of suggestion, see and feel the energy manefesting as fear and anxiety changing from grey yucky stuff to sparkly white and pure energy or any soothing color you like.  Really feel the change.  Feel how content and warm it makes you feel inside.  This and the suggestions from Tom and ralphm would be a good start.

If your worried about negs, use good positive  shield.

If you feel like you have blocked chakras, I found a wonderful book on chakra clearing.

"The ABC's of Chakra Therapy"  by Deedre Diemer  She even has a test inside to find out which chakras are blocked.

I wish you healing thoughts!

Donna and Focus 15,

quote:
Yes, I have also experienced those very fast shift in conciousness, when doing light meditation or just relaxing while listening to radio or television. Experiencing being there and here at the same time(i'm sure you understand what I mean..:), it normally last a few sec/minute and then the "Jolt" back to my body. I was never really into RV, but it seem to happen once in a while, with complete picture/sense of what is happening. Maybe I should give it a go and let it happened naturally. Will give it a good try one day.

Oh my gosh,  I  had this same experience through most of my life, even before I  knew anything about energy.   I would be watching tv or listening to someone talk, zone out and have a split consciousness where I am in two places at once.  My physical body is grounded in the physical and another part of me was hovering outside of the body looking down at my physical.

When I tried to explain my experience to others, they would look at me and say  "Sure Tracy, it's your imagination working overtime."   Is this something of what you described?  Not knowing anything about oobes or phasing, I never tried to explore or go anywhere, and I have never found myself in the astral until now.

Thank you for sharing your experiences!

Tracy

By the way, the Gateway Wave 1 pointers are a wonder to behold and have been a real help to many.   Even if you don't have the CDs (like me), give a look see anyway.  I would be totally lost without the kind comments of Frank and others.

Yes, you are getting closer and progressing nicely.  At this point when sleep is touch and go  and you see the flat blackness behind your eyes , you may   see some sort of visions.  Sometimes I have visions sometimes not, but you should notice when the void becomes 3-D.   For me it feels like a flat blackness that has all of a sudden turned to a great expanse of space.  A great huge void like in space but without the stars.

Hope this helps.

The technique I use is quite simple for phasing.

1.  I find being a little drowsy a great advantage.  Since quieting the mind and totally relaxing is so important, for me being just tired enough (but not to tired) to get that melt  into the mattress  feeling is a necessity.

2. I close my eyes and start to relax encouraging the melt into the mattress feeling while color breathing.

3. ..... Just relax.......  let go...... Soon the hypnotic imagery starts to take effect and a good tingling develops on it's own. Remember, don't focus on your body a lot.  Just notice once or twice that it is tingling and then forget about it.   Personally I tense up when I practice NEW so I do this separately at night.

4. During the imagery I also start to feel like drifting.....drifting .......drifting towards sleep touching it's borders and back away so not to go to sleep. This happens repeatedly until the visions start or void is noticed.

At this point I think a good trance is developed.  What ever you do, don't fight your body telling it where  to be at it's focus and how.  Your body probably will just naturally flow from one point to the next.  Just be an observer and witness your body's natural progression.

Good luck!

Tracy

Focus 15,

Ok, now I feel better that all these strange experiences are in the ranges of normal
I would love to share experiences  concerning the books and papers.

Mostly they appear like you had said kind of floating in front of me close but not to close to my face.  I gaze upon the text and it seems  sort of fuzzy like I should  squint to obtain a better focus.  After I start to try this,  a feeling (or maybe being told this very quietly) that I am not to really concentrate on the letters but relax.  So I do and the words start flowing in my consciousness as if I'm reading it and in my voice.  My attention is focused, very relaxed, on the page of text.  Even though the words are fuzzy, I am not feeling very taxed at all about  reading it .  Just like you, sometimes  I  remember paragraphs of words and other times not much sticks in my mind.

The text being read is (at this point) boring and very routine stuff for some reason.   Things that are considered review.  I haven't written any of the text in my journal yet because the stuff is  "routine". You would think that if you are given something to read in the astral , it should be meaningful or symbolic.

Oh well.

Frank,

As always, thank you so much for all your help and clarity!

I was wondering if anyone might know, could a person using these focuses see things that aren't astral in origin?  This morning after waking out of sleep I saw the Earth from a point in space.  The Earth and all her glory was sitting right in front of me with tiny clouds following the jet streams.  It looked so real.

Very appriciatively,

Tracy

Yeah,   Welcome to the Astral Pulse!

This is the place to be to learn about astral and real time zone projections.  You will find that we are a wonderful, caring bunch who just want to learn and help others just  like you do.

By the way my brother is trying for his black belt also.  His instructor has this tradition of nailing the students would be black belt on the wall for motivation.  He thinks this is a real "kick" and all the students cheer him on.  It's great.

So good luck on your spiritual journeys!

Ok, I'm realizing more and more how complex the mind is in terms of projection variety and there subtle differences.  I was getting confused of whether I am going into Focus 21 or having a remote eye experience because I have been seeing full view close up scenes such as my front door.  This is similar during a remote eye situation and the consciousness slams back into the body C1.  But reading earlier post says that the door could be symbolic.

**Strange part**  For 2 hours this morning I have been trying to find out more about this on this thread but the computer kept crashing and I would feel very tired.  I also had this feeling like I'm to go upstairs and meditate to be shown the next piece of the puzzle.  So I said "what the heck is going on,   this darn computer...." and went upstairs to meditate.  After reaching F 12, I find myself in the same situation of full-blown view.  And this time I was able to stay out longer and not slam back to C1 but just have a subtle shift back to the body.  I was not expectiong the really passive feeling like  "ok, I'm here and happy where ever I am.

Can a person project directly to the astral, bypass the little cinema screen and just be there?

Also, have you been shown books, text on paper that are  placed in front of you too read.  You were able to read the text but being so passive in the minds eye that you can't really remember much of what you read?

Is this normal?

Very appriciatively,

Tracy

Another question:

Where can you find the different herbs that are living?  Do you think that the local nurseries would have these? Or maybe you could recommend a herb catalog or online site.  I would really appriciate any info.

Thanks!

Blue Light Mystic,

quote:
. I was a bit bad, as I became addicted to drinking caffeine instead of just being smart and trying to take herbs to help boost up my energy

With me it is the opposite.  Since working with energy (I think this is the reason)  caffeine has been awful for me.  Some days I feel like I have drank a whole pot and hadn't even touched it.  And I fidget in my seat dealing with different problems that energy users have, so when I started taking the vitamin Kava Kava and St. John's Wart it was a gold mind! It really has helped a lot but I am a little concerned about it effecting the energy manipulation.

Since these herbs are unmonitored by the Food and Drug Administration they should be taken in the least amount possible so I thought a vitamin would be safer.

Thanks for the info on St. John's Wort I found it very useful!  I have no idea why our books don't have Kava Kava in them; it shouldn't be a new herbal.

I found the "One a Day" vitamin in my regular drugstore and I think they are in the supermarkets.  If you want the vitamin, you might be able to find it on one of the online drugstores.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Kinda Quiet Lately
October 07, 2002, 21:33:56
Hi all,
Even though I have been going to college (for 2 yrs now), I just can't stay away from the Astral Pulse. Just a projection nut I guess.  School has been great and getting to know new people is wonderful, but I have a hard time being in a classroom packed full with people.   Being a little Closter phobic and slightly empathic makes this challenging.  So I find that shielding is really important for me.

Lets see,  I am trying to get into a nursing program that is very competitive and difficult to get into and if that doesn't exactly work out I say psychology all the way baby!

Something else I wanted to ask people since we are in the chat room area, can a person using energy in their daily lives( like us) sense  another energy users  by a strange "I feel like I know you and are a good friend even though I never saw you a day in my life" feeling?  I know this sounds strange but I just don't know how to describe it.  This has really been bothering me lately.

People look at you and you look at them and sense that there is something so curious about this feeling and it is (I think) energy related.   And I swear teachers can home in on you when you happen to be nervous and your auric(?) energy flares up.  Like a lighthouse beacon saying, "Call on Me" because I don't want to be called on, but they can sense the energy flare.  By the way I am experimenting with different shields to help contain energy flare-ups and adding a little programming to it for spice.

Thanks for reading this!

Tracy

This is a great idea,  I was going to start a thread asking about Kava Kava and St. John's Wort. I know that  Kava Kava is supposed to help with tension,  stress and promote a natural calming feeling (this herb is not in my herb encylclopedia for some reason) ,and I would not take the recommended amount this is too much if not in a vitamin.!

St. John's Wort is said (in my encyclopedia) to help with nausea and has served as a sedative and analgesic.

They have these herbs in a vitamin called "One A Day". I find that they help take the edge off college related stress.

Does anyone find that taking these herbs would cause their energy gathering to be sluggish and harder to move?  Of course these herb encyclopedias never say anything about how it will affect you energetically.

Adrian....

I agree totally that the Monroe institute should make mp3s!  I'm not saying they should put all their valuable info out for free but maybe just some key points.  I would love to know all the different focuses and there meaning, and where someone should be in during each specific focus.  Also a general idea of what to expect so we (people without the cds) aren't totally lost.  I think this would be a profitable position.

If you take an author who wants to sell their book, they want to publicize and get there book noticed as much as possible ,so they develop these wonderful informative sneak peak web pages of the contents and helpful info.  The Monroe Institute could do this same thing with the mp3s.

Interacting with the locals can be tremendous fun. And, if the conditions are right, the temptation to play tricks is too great to resist (well, for me that is). My two favourites are jumping off tall buildings and walking on water, both of which can attract quite a large crowd. :)

That is so neat!!!  So, we can play tricks huh, of course the clean fun ones.  Can you imagine if someone from another dimension came down to earth and performed these feats, the scientist world be flipping their beanies.

quote:
What happens is, the Doubt that you feel will manifest in some symbolic way (this touches on Adrian's recent post in reply to Jeff's point about the sidewalk). You might see the cooker, for example, upside down sitting in the sink.

This definitely would explain a lot .  Since the brain is "in tuned" to the consciousness and the astral, it is only natural that doubt would manifest in some form of image instead of an emotion.  We are using our visual in so much at this point.  I was expecting doubt and the like would manifest in an emotion like it does in the physical.  Thanks for helping me with this!

Jeff M,
quote:
I know that when I began to see these astral scenes, I would be so passive that my INTENT wasn't present! I wonder of others make that mistake. Deep down you WANT to project (which is why you're still conscious at this point, but you've been so mentally passive to get here that your intent gets brushed aside. Then you get frustrated that you're so close but nothing happens, so you roll over and go to sleep.

This happens to me to, I'm so relaxed it is a real hardship sometimes, but mostly when I am fighting the sleep reflex (what I call it).  I keep telling myself that it is amazing we have gone this far.   All the threads that I have read helps me to see how far we all have progressed!

Welcome to Metaphysics! / telepathy and Empathy?
October 01, 2002, 11:37:04
For empathy, the emotion you are sensing can both take over you and manifest itself into your actions or you can feel it emanating from the individual but it doesn't seem to be affecting you emotionally.  Maybe because of shield protection.  I have had experience with both and also the just knowing how they are feeling.

For telepathy, I have only had urges to say something out loud that ended up answering the question of what the individual is thinking even though I am not sure of the question being asked.  It just happens naturally and without warning.  .
