Rituals like praying, candles, taking salt baths, burning sage, can help if you feel empowered by them. (I've done them all
hehe..) As a defense.., depending on the power level of your unwanted guest, and his stubbornness they can also be ineffective, and if your pouring your thoughts (Energy) or doing them in FEAR without your goal being granted in mind, you could strengthen the connection between you and this ghost/astral hijacker. Rituals can put you in the "Mindset" to defend yourself, but don't get discouraged if they only work for a short time. Your "Mindset" will determine your victory. Stay away from the "feelings" of helplessness! Try to keep you energy levels high. When you feel this entity starting to exchange energy with you, say No.., stop. And move away, studder/break the connection if you can, rather than accepting it. This is not a High emotional "NO! STOP!, it is simply a Disconnected, "No.., I don't care for this, go away". Then give this entity no more thought, don't think about him at all, as though he was a fly that you brushed away from you. If your lucky he'll eventually get the message and stop bothering you, and go away on his own. If your giving him no Energy, he has little reason to stay. An entity that is waking you up, making you feel invaded is Draining your energy. Depriving you of sleep will make you moody, tired at work, and put you in a more prone position for depression and greater attack. I used ear plugs to get some sleep from my attacker when he was waking me up, doesn't work every single time, but it can help you get your rest. Finally, there is a reason for this. Finding out why, can really help. For now, just Disconnect yourself from your fear about it. It's just another part of life.
