I think Astral Traveler may be right about not attacking negative entities. I'm not the most experienced traveler, but I did encounter an evil looking entity once.

It was just a head that came from the left side of my perception and slowly moved in front of me, turned and looked straight at me. It was a horrible looking creature that was as scary looking as any monster you've ever seen in a movie, probably even more so. Yet, I felt no fear, I was just startled by it. It remained in front of me for only a few moments and then disappeared. I think it was trying to scare me and when it realized I wasn't afraid of it, it had no power over me. There may be more to it than that, I don't know, but that's how I perceived the experience.

I have what I think is a somewhat unusual way of going out-of-body. After clearing my thoughts and relaxing my body, I just try to visualize in my minds eye a red light. When I begin to actually see the light I'm propelled out of my body into these other realms. One time right after I got out there I saw 6 or 7 ghostly looking figures nearby. They noticed me too and came closer to me, and I snapped back into my body before I could interact with them. Since they were in a human form, do you think they were recently deceased souls looking for help?

I've read of different visualization techniques, but none quite like mine. I wonder if it's the best way to navigate my way into the astral world. In my experience some of the other techniques seem more complicated than they need to be and my technique is simple, and it works for me. However, I don't exactly know where I'm headed either. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I had an OBE using Gotu Kola for about a week, and I was trying to have one. It was brief, but I was impressed with the herb. I suddenly found myself out-of-body looking at a chair in front of me and I was making the chair turn left, then right, back and forth with only my thoughts. A moment later I was back in my body. I've had OBE's before, but sometimes I'd end up falling asleep while attempting to have them. The Gotu Kola almost seemed to make it easy to have one.

One website I was on said that it is known as the "herb of enlightenment", and it does seem to live up to that description. This herb has been used for thousands of years. It is very highly regarded by the Chinese and the people of India. In their experience it does improve meditative abilities and it offers many health benefits too.

You don't have to buy capsules of it though. Gotu Kola plants can be purchased on the web so you can just grow it yourself (indoors or outdoors). It's a tropical herb that is easy to grow and it's very hardy. Probably the only thing it can't tolerate is frost. It prefers wet soil, but the soil can dry out and the plant can appear to be dead, but give it some water and it will spring back to life. Gotu Kola is easy to propagate too. Just take the plant out of the pot and separate a section of it with ample roots, replant it, and now you have two plants. The recommended dosage straight from the plant is two to three mature leaves a day. I've read on some websites that eating the leaves fresh from the plant is best, and that is what I was doing when I had my experience. Give it a shot, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Aloe Vera is far more than just a good plant to use for sunburn, skin blemishes, etc. I continue to find more and more uses for it from oral care to infections, puncture wounds, pretty much any and all skin conditions, and much more. It has been shown to be very effective against diseases as serious as AIDS and cancer. See for yourself.

Another great thing about the plant is its' adaptability. It can be grown in almost any climate as long as it gets some sunlight, minimal water, and it's taken indoors when the temperature goes below freezing. It can even be grown indoors, but it grows slower.

Though this isn't related to aloe, look up the research of Albert Roy Davis and Walter Rawls. They discovered that magnetism can be used in many, many ways. Davis was the first scientist to discover that the North and South poles of a magnet are not the same, but two different energies. The North pole has an amazing ability to heal the human body. The South pole is dangerous, yet we are all exposed to it on a daily basis. They delved into research using electromagnetic energies too, and just as there are North and South pole magnetic fields, there are also North and South pole electromagnetic fields. Here's a little info about them.  http://keelynet.com/biology/biomag2.htm

All magnets have a North and South pole, the only question is where the poles are located on the magnet. Unipolar magnets have the poles separate from each other so the North and South poles are not on the same side or surface of the magnet.

Ceramic block magnets are unipolar, so are many cylinder shaped magnets. They are magnetized through their "thickness". That's why when you bring two magnets together they attract each other, then if you turn one magnet 180 degrees both magnets repel each other. You reversed the polarity when you turned the magnet. Opposites attract, likes repel. That's not a theory, it's a fact.

The refrigerator magnet might work, but you have to be careful. I believe most refrigerator magnets are bipolar, meaning they have the North and South pole energies on the same side of the magnet. Bipolar magnets can and will harm you over time. Only the North pole (South seeking pole) should face toward your body. The South pole has harmful effects and should be avoided. This is very important. Use only unipolar magnets.

In the vicinity of the North pole of the earth is the 'magnetic' North pole of the earth, but that is not how it is currently taught throughout the world. Students are taught that the 'magnetic' South pole of the earth is actually in the Northern hemisphere, but Davis and Rawls proved this to be incorrect. So, the pole of a magnet that is attracted to (and points toward) the South pole of the earth is the North pole of the magnet. You can use a compass to determine this. The side of the compass marked South is the 'magnetic' South pole of the compass magnet, which is why when you travel North, the side marked South is pointing toward the 'magnetic' North pole of the earth and the side of the compass marked North is pointing toward you (South).

I can confirm that your dreams are more easily remembered and occur more often as a result of using the North pole of a small magnet over 'the third eye'. Just remember that it is possible to get too much North pole magnetism too, so don't use the magnet for too long.

I found a fascinating article about the research of the Albert Roy Davis Laboratory. Davis discovered that the North and South poles of a magnet are in reality two different energies with opposite effects. He discovered that magnetism has a dramatic influence on the living body and can be used to increase ESP abilities, intelligence, and extend the lifespan of people.

I've always believed that there had to be ways of improving our abilities. I've used Hemisync CD's and I've found that they definitely work, but I think using magnetism is the wave of the future and I believe you'll agree with me after you've read this. http://www.teslatech.info/ttstore/report/articles/v3n1art/scope.htm
