Last night my awareness was hightened due to feeling strong vibes. I could see astrally, and I recall at one point seeing a glimpse of a kind of shadow in the upper left corner of the room which then started moving towards the bed. At this stage I didn't see astrally continuously, mainly because I was so focussed on the vibes, which were kind of forcing me to go OOB, and because I was still in the process of hightening my consciousness.
Because I had become aware of a "being" in my room I became rather hesitant to get "out". (Unfortunately the fear-factor has been "playing up" lately, with regard to the way I deal with astral-experiences). But the vibes kept on and kept bugging me at full strength, so I decided there was nothing else for it but to get "out" there. I thought: "alright, but then I'll just keep my (astral) eyes closed so I won't see anything I don't want to be confronted with." (whimp!)

After several attempts I finally got totally "free" and - then with only vision of grey-ness around me - I tried to go to "higher grounds" by calling out "Higher Self now", so that I would feel safer. I didn't realy feel that I went anywhere else; I didn't feel the rush and speed I otherwise often do when saying "Higher Self now" and willing myself to move "up and away". But in hind-sight I do think I actually went "somewhere else", because a moment later I gained more vision and could see everything clearly. I was still in the (I then assumed my) room. What must have cleared my vision was the fact that a bird of prey suddenly appeared, flying back and forth through the room. He did so for several seconds (at one point I saw that he had a bunch of twigs in his beak).

At the time I still recognized the room, and there were 2 large windows through which I had a very clear view to the outside surroundings. I recognized this view. I studied what I saw carefully, telling myself I had to realy focuss on it so that I would remember after I woke up. But after I woke up I realised that the view from this room while OOB was not familiar to me at all. It was definately not the view I normally see from my bedroom-window.

Now I wonder about the following: What role (if any) could this bird (of prey) have played in my experience? I can think of absolutely no reason why this bird suddenly appeared, other than that this bird could have in some way opened up the doorway for me to another location/time/dimension. Does this sound feasable/familiar to any of you? I thought this might be the explanation for why this bird came into my view. Afterall, first I only saw greyish mist, as I was trying to move away from the bedroom location to a "higher dimension"; then this bird appears. And straight after he has dissappeared I find myself in a room, but with a different setting and view... Could this bird in some way have represented and/or have provided me with this transformation?
By the way, I strongly suspect that I had then gone back in time. But I could be wrong about this.

I was again aware of the person/entity in the room. I then noticed the figure of a person sitting(?) next to my bed. The same person I had seen vaguely before. It was an old woman, dressed in a black/white, quite long gown (lots of layers of fabric). I could still clearly envisage her face upto a few minutes after I woke up. This is how clearly I could see her. I spoke to her and she spoke (telepathically? I don't know anymore) to me. She was sweet, yet seemed quite concerned (for me). Anyway, this is another part of the OBE which I won't go into now.

But I welcome any theories/idea's on what role this bird could have played. Has anyone had any similar experiences with birds(of prey)?

Thanks in advance.

Take care.

In this posting I will attempt to describe how to practice the vibrational state technique, for DOA (who wished to know a bit more about it) and for anyone else who is unfamiliar with the vibrational state technique and would like to know how it is done.

Practicing the vibrational state technique is, as I have experienced and have also read, a major and basic technique and one which is very worthwhile to invest time and effort in.

I was taught this technique during an IICP workshop I attended. I at first thought that I couldn't master this technique. Nothing seemed to happen. As hard as I tried, I didn't feel any energies "flowing" through my body at all and thought that I just didn't have it in me to be able to do this, especially since, when asked at the workshop, other people told the group that they did feel energies and experienced things.  But I kept doing this technique, even though not as often as I should, and without feeling vibrations in my body. As some time went by I started noticing that there was a difference in (my awareness of) my energies. I noticed this because when I would hear certain music, see some part of a certain movie, or experience something else which "touched" me (emotionally), I clearly felt vibrations going through my body. I had to conclude that this was because I had been practicing the vibrational state for a while. This was amazing, and proof that the vibrational state certainly did have an effect, even though I had thought that doing it was no use. I could clearly feel that my energies had become more "loose", more present. My energetic body reacted more to certain stimulants (to certain feelings bought about by a beautiful song, an emotional part of a movie, and other such experiences). So, it DID have an effect after all. And in due time I did begin to actually feel vibes. But, as you can read from my personal experience with this, even though you may not feel vibrations, the energy-exercise does have an effect.

I have as yet come across few books or sites which mention the vibrational state technique, so this may explain why so many people who are learning about OBE's and associated subjects just don't know about it. I feel this to be a real shame. Ofcourse many people may not need such a technique to initiate an OBE. But I felt it benefited me a lot.

Because so many people are obviously not aware what this vibrational-state is about, and how it can help your spiritual growth, they may experience it, but not recognize it. And because they don't know how to consciously bring about this state (the vibrations), they will not benefit as much from it as when they did know how to apply it. Although you don't always experience these vibrations when you go out of body, it does happen. Also because of this it is a good thing if you can recognize the "symptoms". If you don't, then what you feel/hear could be frightening, even though it is nothing to be frightened about.

A lot of you will probably know what they feel like, but in case you don't;

I compare vibrations to the following: You probably also have had the feeling of shivers running down your back when you hear a beautiful melody/tune. These shivers are energies moving inside you and this movement is brought about by the fact that you are in some way touched by what you hear. The sounds trigger a certain response within you, that of shivers running down your spine (or maybe at the back of your neck, or along your arms). It is a response to something which touches you emotionally. This is how vibrations feel, ranging from mild to "wild" (heavy).

Some definitions of vibrations, which I have taken from two books I have, are:

- Vibrational state = Internal vibrations and sounds often reported during the preliminary stages of an out-of-body experience. Buzzing and humming sounds accompanied by electrical-like vibrations, numbness, and catalepsy (i.e., sleep paralysis) are commonly reported. (The Secret of the Soul - by William Buhlman);

- Vibration = A rapid oscillation or shaking that appears to be physical but is not; tremors that are usually felt during altered states of consciousness, generally after a significant period of mediation. ("Soul Traveler" - by Albert Taylor, Ph.D)

When you "practice" the vibrational state, you bring about this movement of energies by working with the energy in a way I have described underneith (through the absorbtion and/or exteriorization methods which are part of the vibrational state-technique). By creating movement of energies the energy within your body starts to loosen, and, in due time, to "vibrate".  As the energy inside you moves more and faster, the vibrations become more clear. These vibrations may perhaps start occurring in a spread-out fashion, or they can start at different points of your body (your feet, your head, etc...). Chakra's have a part to play in this. The vibrations can start occurring at a certain energy-centre (chakra) in your body. The energy then starts building up and starts to "stream" throughout your whole body. When I practice this state the way in which the vibrations start and build-up can be different each time. It obviously also helps if you get more experienced with it and get more controll. You probably are familiar with the term "Kundalini". This is also a vibrations-experience, but a very strong one. As I understand it it is the energy stream that flows from the root-chakra along the centre of the back to the crown-chakra.

But perhaps what I just wrote is already known to you.

In one OBE I had, whereby I was in my energy-body, I felt like a "buzzing bumble-bee" (I'm sure I also looked like one!). The "buzzing I felt/heard (one and the same) was caused by the vibrations running rapidly from and to every point in my  energetic body.

When you feel your body is completely relaxed you start doing the vibrational state.

By practicing with the vibrational state frequently, but ofcourse especially when you want to have an OBE, the chances of having an OBE will increase. ( it's a Basic Mobilisation of Energies - BME) What you are doing is "loosening" your energetic body, so to speak. And at the same time you are creating a bigger awareness of the presence of your energies, and of your possibilities through this "astral body".

Practicing the vibrational state consists of three steps:

1/ Absorption of energies: You are always surrounded by energy ("environmental energy"). Become aware of this energy, and bring it towards you (create this movement with your mind). Attract this energy towards every point of your body. Do this in flowing, rhythmic motions (so with moments in between gathering up this energy towards you) and gradually increase the speed at which you do this. Keep doing this for a time.
(When you have done this several times you will probably need less time to become aware of this motion of energies towards you. The "wave"-motion of the energies could, after some time, make you feel as if you are on a little boat at sea.

2/ Flowing of energy through your body: Now that your body has "collected" surrounding energy, start focussing on letting the energy inside you flow through your body; from your head to your toes and visa versa (up and down). Slowly at first, feeling this energy-flow more and more, and gradually speeding up this up-and-down flow through all parts of your body. Continue doing this for a while.

3/ Exteriorising energies: This is exactly the opposite to step 1; instead of attracting energies towards you you eminate this energy outward, from every part of your body to the surrounding area, also in waving motions and gradually speeding up this process untill it's a continuous wave of energies which are flowing away from every part of your body. (This is also a technique which can be used as a kind of "protection" technique, because you can create a kind of protective energy-shield around your body.)

If you feel that you are not totally relaxed anymore (perhaps tensing some part/muscle of your body) when doing the vibrational-state technique, take the time to become completely relaxed again and then continue on with this exercise.
If you don't actually feel the energy-movement, that's alright. This doesn't mean that nothing is happening. If you do start to feel it, that's even better, although it is definately not compulsary. When working towards the vibrational state, one time you may feel the energy-waves faster and more clearly than the next time. I do feel that the more you do this exercise the better and more naturaly it will be achieved.

The vibrational state is not only usefull to bring about OBE's. There is more than one advantage attached to being able to do this technique. One other advantage is that you may be able, with practice, to detect, and clear up certain energy-blockages which may be present in parts of your body through letting the energies flow through your body. Another is, as I said, using these energies as a kind of protection-device (for psycic self-defence purposes). Ofcourse becoming (more) aware of both your own and the environmental energies can only be beneficial to you.

I hope this info. is in some way usefull to some, who are interested in practicing this technique.

Take care.

Has anyone, while astrally aware, ever come across a being with the following description:

> about the size of a baby; long, white hair all over (sticking out to the sides - like a kind of "fuzz-ball".

That's all I can recall (but I couldn't see much else than white hair...), but I seem to have "come across" them twice now. The first time was when I experienced (while asleep) being approached by a group of them, looked over and then taken away by them (seriously!) At the time of this experience I was not involved in astral traveling yet. I do remember that this experience was very real to me. That when they took me away I tried to resist by yelling out to my sister (but I couldn't produce any sound) and by holding on to the door-post while they took me out the door. This didn't help either.

The second time I encountered a being like this I was OOB. I saw a very similar creature while astrally in my bedroom. He suddenly appeared at the head of my bed. This one was quite a bit smaller than the previous ones (more the size of a football). Maybe the two encounters were with two different beings. Perhaps it was purely my imagination. Especially with regard to the first case I doubt it very much.

Anyone??

Take care.

Question to anyone who feels inclined to respond:

Not too long ago I saw myself lying in bed while out of body for the first time. After having been "away", to other "planes", for what seemed like a few seconds, I was suddenly back in my bedroom. This was not the first time for me that I found myself in my bedroom while astrally-aware/OOB, but it was the first time I saw enough of the room, and therefore consciously decided to go and check out if I could see myself lying in bed.... And yes, there I was. It was very strange to see myself, first from some distance (as I was at that point at the other end of my room) and then up-close (because I decided to take a closer look). When I moved closer to where I was lying I could see myself more clearly; I moved closer to the bed, and the next moment was "hovering" above my (physical) face. What I then saw did kind of "spook" me in a way - different parts of my face were moving about. it suggested to me that I (my physical self) was very active, even though I was asleep. Now, I know that when you are asleep you do move around a lot, but your face???? I thought: perhaps my face is "moving" so much because I am out of body and therefore I AM quite active at this moment.... But I don't know if this is the reason. It's the only reason I can come up with. It was a strange "encounter" with myself. I have never come across any account whereby someone saw their (physical) face moving (and I don't mean just a tremble of an eye...) while OOB, which makes me wonder even more what this could indicate.

Has anyone here had the same experience? Is it logical to assume that my face was moving because I was active (because I was consciously out of body)?

Some other things happened after this "confrontation", but I will leave it here for now. I would appreciate any responses on this.

With thanks. Take care.

Hi DOA,

First of all, have you ever met an entity while OOB?

After reading your account the conclusion I tend to draw is, that you heard these noises/voices of people talking because you were at that time in a state whereby you were already able to perceive astrally.

When you are in the middle of the "vibes-phase", trying to get out of your physical body, you can already be attuned/open to the astral world, so to me it doesn't seem at all strange that you would hear noises and "people" talking to each other (about you in this case)while trying to go OOB. You could very well be "picking up" on intelligences/entities in the astral dimensions. I have had these experiences several times, whereby I heard a voice, saw an entity, saw certain images, etc... I would not be out of my physical body yet, but would be able to pick up on things from the astral (I call this the "twilight zone", but it is also known as the "hypnagocic state").

When you are in such a state of awareness you could become aware of entities who are already there; you just happen to become aware of them because you are in an altered state of awareness and "by chance" have tuned in to their frequencies. But you could also become aware of entities who know you and are there to assist you in some way. They might even have helped you to tune into them. (Maybe the 2 "people" talking about you were guides...)

You said that you think your subconscious is at work here, "trying to play tricks on you", trying to "put obstacles in your way so you'll have a more difficult time in getting out". It somehow doesn't seem logical to me that your subconscious would be doing this, when you are someone who is eager to grow in your astral experiences (and I assume that this is the case).
Maybe, instead of seeing these experiences as "obstacles", you could see them as indications of (an improvement of) extra-sensory perception. This to me seems far more logical than that your subconscious would be hampering your progress in astral awareness & traveling!

In the case of the 2 voices; you wrote that "they" were saying to each other "I wonder if he sees us?" Well, you heard them anyway. And it is obvious, from what you heard them say, that they were very well aware of you and what you were doing. They might have wanted you to hear (& see) them; they may be wanting to help you to progress to the point where you can see them. Maybe that is why they were there in the first place - to help you to improve on your astral awareness. This would mean that "they" should not be viewed as obstacles but as exactly the opposite!

Ofcourse I wouldn't be able to say who these "people" were, but it is possible that there are entities out there who are trying to help you to highten your perception of the non-physical realms (I have read various accounts of this happening - entities/guides who are in some way trying to get your attention). But as I already mentioned, they could also be entities who you "accidentally" come across because you are in a different state of awareness and therefore open to the astral.

Perhaps, the next time something like this happens, you could try to find out who is actually there, by asking the "person(s)" this directly. It may be an opportunity for you to increase your experience. But I can well imagine that you would want to know who you're dealing with when you do this. I learnt (from a book I read by William Buhlman -"the secret of the soul") that in order to find out exactly "who you are dealing with" when you meet up with an entity, especially if you want to know if you're dealing with a "good guy", something you can ask this entity is: Show you true self". (I have never as yet been in a situation where I felt I had to ask this, but I find it a usefull thing to know anyway).

I hope my posting is worth something.

Good luck DOA.

Take care.

Hi DOA,

Men aren't supposed to cry ..... what rubbish is this! Please do, when you feel like it! It's good for the soul and it sais a lot about how sensitive/empathic you are. There can't be anything at all wrong with that, don't you agree? And to .... with what other people may think about this (by the way, I think that there are a lot more people who will appreciate this than there are people who, for some strange reason, frown upon a man who cries. This is how I view it anyway.

There were times when I actually induced the vibes while doing this technique; there were other times when I didn't feel any vibes (even though I was aware that "something" was happening). But this is most probably mainly due to the "fear-factor" which will keep me from going further with it. This is also why most of my OBE's are initiated during the dream-state and not during my waking-state.

Anyway, you asked me approx. how long you should do each "step" of the vibrational state technique; it's largely a matter of what you sense/feel/experience while doing each step. But I think when I  first started with the technique, I did each part for about 5 minutes. And this is quite long. After all, all together (including the part in which you focuss on becoming totally relaxed) you will be spending about 20-30 minutes on the whole thing.

But, again, it's very much a question of what you start to feel. One time you may feel the wavey-motion of the flow of energy after already 1½ minutes from the moment you do, let's say, the exteriorisation part. The next time you do the technique you my not become aware of any energy movement whatsoever (like I said, this definately doesn't mean that nothing is happening with your energy-body). Also, you may feel that one part may require more time than another.
I have noticed that there are times when doing this technique that I just know, from the start, that I will feel a result quickly. Yet there are other times when I know that I will struggle with the exercise. This depends very much on my state of mind, how tired I am, etc...

I hope this answers your question.

Take care.

Thank you for your reaction. I realy appreciate it!

The accounts I have read from people who have seen orbs describe them as balls of (white) light. The photographs I have seen of orbs also show this. But the "white fuzz-balls" I encountered seemed to have actual hair (at least this is what it appeared to be) and they were not radiating any light whatsoever.

Also, I recall that the fuzzy creatures I saw in the first meeting had eyes (blackish, quite big and round, as I remember). But I didn't include this in my description before. Can orbs have eyes?

I think it's is a good idea for me to read up on more "orb-sightings", so that I get a better, completer picture as to what "creatures" fall under the "orb-catagory". Even when the creatures I encountered don't turn out to fall under that catagory - at least what people uptil now have classified as "orbs" - then it is still as good a time as any for me to learn more about them.

Thanks again Greytraveller.

Take care.

Hi Stealth Fist,

When you say you have trouble with the vibrations, do you mean that you cannot experience them?

Ofcourse I don't know if it is of any help to you, but I just posted a message about how to "practice" the vibrational state technique" on the board (title: "Vibrational State Techn. - DOA & others"). Perhaps this will be of some help to you.

Take care.

Makaveli,

Wow! I wish I was able to experience sensations that quickly/easily! But I can imagine that when the vibrations you experience get so intense this can have a frightening effect and can automatically cause you to stop the projection. That's a shame! I know someone who told me that he also experiences very intense vibes. He was a bit worried about this and also feels that this causes him to not be able to go further with the "OBE initiation process"; I will let this person know that he is not the only one.

Could it be that by focussing on the area behind your eye-lids, you do actually focuss on, and in so doing, stimulate your third-eye? This does seem very logical to me. Maybe this is also why you sometimes get a certain feeling on your forehead -a certain (energy-)pressure.
I know that there are various exercises to activate your 3rd-eye, whereby you focuss on a spot behind your eye-sockets (at the hight of the top of your ears); this is where your third-eye (pineal gland) is located. It is said that 3rd-eye activation exercises are good for experiencing/increasing lucid-dreams/OBE's. A short while ago I came across 2 quite clear and informative written pieces about the 3rd eye (& pineal gland). I found them to be real "eye-openers".

Take care Makaveli.

DOA,

A question:

Have you also never experienced vibrations (vibes) when OOB? I have felt the vibes during most of my OBE's, but maybe this is because most of my OBE's were initiated through the dream-state. My awareness would, amongst others, highten because I would feel vibes.

Take care.

Hi DOA,

Because this thread was originally about another, be it related, subject, I hope you don't mind that I have placed my response to you regarding vibes and the vibrational state technique on the forum as a new, separate post.

Also, others who are not familiar with the vibrational state technique and may wish to know about it will be able to find this info. more easily than if I place it in this thread.

One thing I would like to say here, regarding not feeling vibes, is that when I started practicing this particular technique I also didn't feel vibrations for a while to begin with, but even so, the technique did have an effect on me.

DOA, can I refer you to the posting: " Vibr.State Techn. - DOA & others" for more information on this technique?

Thanks!

Take care.

Mica

Hi Makaveli,

I'm so glad that something of what I wrote was actually usefull to you. Thanks for letting me know!

Now you face a new challenge, namely one of getting used to seeing the world through four eyes... But hey, astral traveling and challenges go hand in hand, don't they.

Can I ask you something? How do you bring about vibrations? You said that all you have to do is look at the back of your eye-lids while relaxing. I haven't done any techniques for it for a while now, but was introduced to the "vibrational state" through a course I attended by the IICP (International Institute of Conscientiology and Projectiology) some time ago and have used this technique (together with relaxation & certain breathing exercises) to bring on vibrations. To me it's a good technique to use, but I'm always interested to know how others go about bringing on vibes, and I'm realy wondering how you are able to do this just by looking at the back of your eye-lids... Do you see certain things (forms/movement/colours)? Do you focuss on your third-eye?

If you feel like telling me a bit more about it, thanks!

Take care.

I know that it is not easy to lie (and fall asleep) on your back, except when you feel very relaxed. A lot of people can't lie on their back for long when they go to sleep because they feel too tense/stressed, they have worries, etc... They tend to need to turn over on their side or stomach, because this makes them feel more at ease and/or more protected.

So perhaps you have things on your mind, which makes it hard for you to stay lying on your back for long in a relaxed way. But maybe this is not the case. Are there certain parts of your body which you find difficult to relax when lying on your back? I have learnt that some things you can do to become more relaxed and have your body stay totaly relaxed for a longer period of time is, to put a cushion (or something comparable) under your legs (at the hight of your knees), and also to place your arms along the side of your body.
I would think that when you look at the back of your eye-lids, you would focuss too much on one spot to be able to relax completely (with your whole body). It is often hardest (at least, that's my experience) to relax your head/face. I have no trouble relaxing the other parts of my body. I always have to pay attention (not too much ofcourse) to my face, especially my brow/forehead, because this part tenses up pretty quickly. As soon as I'm aware that I have, for example, raised my brow again, I let it relax and I immediately feel much more relaxed again. But this is, as I said, how I "deal" with it.

Good luck with this "challenge".

Take care.

I recognize your experience very well. Most of my OBE's have happened while in a "dream-state". In these "dreams" I am often already somewhat lucid, which helps because then I am better able to recognize certain elements of the "dream". And then something happens which must obviously "catch my attention", because when this happens my awareness/level of consciousness hightens further. Because my awareness/consciousness hightens I become even better equipped to recognize what is going on in the "dream".
Many times my awareness was hightened in a "dream" because I was confronted with something which related to going or being OOB; for instance, I would come to a large bright red door (which was a part of the dream-setting I was in) - and this made me decide to open the door and go through it, gathering speed as I went through so that I could fly (= OOB). In one "dream" I was sitting somewhere (in an open space in the forest) with a group of people, talking with them about someone (a woman) who had "died". For some reason I decided that I should go and find this woman, but that I therefore had to go OOB (seeing as she was no longer physically alive). I said to the group: "I'll be right back", and then went OOB (I flew over them, could see the group of people still sitting there, I wandered as I was hovering over them if they could still see me now that I was OOB, and then I flew away). After having flown around for a bit (in the "ether") I returned to this group of people again, and indicated to them that I was back. (I didn't come across this woman by the way.)

I had the same questions about this kind of experience you do; where does the imagination (the "dream") stop and the OBE start? And is it realy an OBE when it takes place during a "dream"? After some time of thinking about this, and having had more experiences whereby I went OOB from a dream-state, I concluded that it could well be that the group of people I was talking with were real, and that their presence during my "dream" and the subject-matter we discussed spurred me on to actually go out of body, even though this took place within a "dream". They could have been people (entities) who'se intention it was to help me in my wish to learn about OBE's and gain experience with this. And what better way to learn to go OOB than from a dream-state?! It is less confronting and easier, because you are already more open to the astral-dimensions when you are asleep.

I have had quite a few other "dreams" in which I went OOB. It remains difficult to determine what is real in your "dreams" and which part is formed through your own imagination (your personal reality). This is something I am still trying to get better at. The more you are able to highten your awareness while dreaming, the more you will be able to recognize what is realy going on. And the more you will be able to experience (because you will be aware more frequently and more in control). But this, in my experience, is a very gradual process.

I feel that when you are in a "dream" in which you already possess a certain level of awareness (like the "dream" you described), it will be possible for you to pick up on "signs" which indicate that you can go out of body, and it will therefore also be possible for you to follow up on these "signs" and actually go OOB from the dream-state. I also think that the man in your dream could well be a real entity, who was with you in your dream-setting, and might have been there to talk to you about astral traveling and help you to go OOB.
It is my opinion that a dream can be a mix of fantasy/imagination and reality; whereby the fantasy part of the dream is your own creation (also real, but created by yourself and comprising of your own thoughts - for example things which have been on your mind lately, people who are important in your life, issues which need resolving, etc...) The reality part of the "dream" could in your case be the man who you were talking with. He could have decided to visit you while you were dreaming, because then you are in a different state of consciousness and are open to contact with him.

PS: Do you feel that you were able to learn something from the discussion you had with this man about astral traveling? This could indicate that the man in question talked to you about this for a reason...

Thanks for your interesting account!
Take care.

With regard to the creation of this Astral Locale (AL?) it may be a good idea to put into this setting some kind of unique feature, which will act as a clear recognition point to everyone who goes there. For example, a statue of stone which has an original form to it (not found anywhere else - at least as far as we know). Something like this could make it easier for people to actually get to this "AL", because they will then have a very strong focall-point to  concentrate on. Also, there will be little chance of someone thinking that they are at this specific location, when in fact they have "landed" somewhere else. This feature has to be unique, and has to stand out. It can be put "in place" as the central point of the "AL" (the point where people arrive at, meet each other, etc..)

Just a thought, and one which hopefully will benefit the realisation of this brilliant idea.

Take care.

Dear Nje789,

This must be terrible for you. I have been thinking of anything which I could write to you which might be of help to you in your situation. Unfortunately I don't have experience when it comes to psycic-defence matters. But I do see the importance of it.

One thing I have come across is, that humour is a very powerfull tool. It will probably be very difficult for you to use humour to get rid of this entity, but if at all possible, try. (maybe by laughing, by making fun of him/her by saying certain things, like f.e."I can't stop laughing, what you're doing is funny!" or "I'm trying to be serious here, because you are trying so hard, but actually all I can do is feel sorry for you" Things like that.

I have "looked around" for you, to see if I could find anything else which could be of help to you.

Hopefully the following information may be of help to you:

A/ On the site www.spiritreleasement.org/intro/protection.html (concerning "Spiritual Protection", by rev. Judith A. Baldwin) I found the following text regarding spiritual protection, which might have something to offer you. (This is  part of the total piece of text I found on above site ):

While protection, or invulnerability, applies to the spiritual, safety applies to the physical. While the wheel of safety requires physical tending, the awareness of protection requires spiritual knowledge. However, both protection and safety require discipline. We are spirit beings having a physical adventure. Though our passage through physical life can be troubled with consequences, the invulnerability of our spirit cannot be disturbed nor lost. However, unless we are aware of ourselves as spirit beings, we cannot be in a state of invulnerability.
To be protected, one must recall the forgotten caveat. We are protected as we remember we are protected. Whether exploring local or nonlocal reality, keep in mind that first, foremost and finally, nobody is just a body. Without the "lived experience" that one is more than physical, no matter who promises protection, the fears and anxieties of terminal living will not be dispelled. To fully experience being protected, we must know experientially that we are a spirit being of light, and we must live accordingly. So long as we do not know ourselves, we remain co-makers of our travails.
Consequently, both protection and safety are "whole being" tasks. They cannot be conjured up by calling merely on the "thinker" nor the "pray-er." One can neither think oneself into a safe place, nor pray oneself into a protected place without first having done the necessary homework to sustain spiritual, mental and emotional composure in spite of what may appear to be unfamiliar, threatening or even impossible. Strengthening the "Spiritual Immune System" is an essential prerequisite to "safe passage" through both the material and non-material worlds.
The Spiritual Immune System needs strengthening not because the spirit has been compromised. Rather the beliefs, attitudes, assumptions and values which we have accepted and perpetuated without discrimination, have compromised the mind and predisposed it to unhealthy habits of thinking, speaking and behaving. Without a preemptory correction of how one uses the mind, there are bound to be problems as one's path is crossed by the inevitable "unknowns" of the spiritual realms.
Honest examination of one's beliefs will likely lead, directly or indirectly, to a hidden coffer of fears. Fear is a universal condition, the great barrier to human spiritual growth. As we grow older we become more and more fearful until as adults we are loaded with fears; and the realization of how little we know. Then our unknowns create more fears. However, when these unknowns are admitted and exposed, the fears seem to diminish and disappear.(2) In most cases this is but a temporary repression of what was never reconciled, only displayed. Thus does our buried fear putrefy and spread like an infection under the skin.
When a situation is challenging, a most useful adage is to "fear not." But what's the use of pretending not to be afraid when one is already afraid. Like other instinctual impulses, fear can be useful. However, when it is out of control, that is when fear is overwhelming and dictates the quality of our experience, then problems can multiply. Fear left unchecked reproduces itself, adding layer upon layer of complications.
The trick is not to deny the presence of fear, nor to attempt to banish it by force. Rather admit to fears, as well as mistakes or shortcomings, and acknowledge them openly. "Confessing" is sufficient to unplug the emotional charge of fears and inadequacies which impede calm, effective thinking and propitious action. However, is not restricted to a religious sacrament, and may not even include another person. Admitting to oneself and/or the Spirit Within those things about ourselves which have gone awry, or are off the mark, is all that is required to make confession a powerful healing agent. Confessing can be an intensely empowering act of self reclamation. "Unfriendlies," whether they be self saboteurs or some "other," use our secret fears and guilts as effective tools for twisting self worth into self loathing. In order for dark force energies to use secrets and fears as a weapon against us, fear of exposure must be active in us.
How invested are we in covering up our private skeletons? To the degree we are determined to keep our secrets concealed, thus to protect our image, we are prey to that which would "play" us with this need. Now do we give our fears additional power to control us; and so we become afraid of our fears. In turn we continue to magnify these fears by the deceits and manipulations required to keep them hidden or undetected.
A thorough inventory of personal fears, dreads, shames, blames, guilts and resentments, for the purpose of exposing them to the light of the spirit within, can do much to prevent unfortunate power plays by those entities which seek for control. This is how we free ourselves of the burden of emotional distractions. Emotional distractions are those inventories of residual feelings which pull our focus away from the experience of non-adversarial awareness. Notice it is not suggested one be free of emotions. Emotions such as humility, reverence, wonder and love are always welcome.
If we are not as yet wise stewards of our emotions, if we have given ourselves free reign to express as intensely and violently as circumstances or mood may provoke, then we are likely to explode destructively, much as a faulty canon backfires. The emotional self must be prepared to encounter the unusual, the taunting, the volatile, the menacing, and the unexplored without reacting to threat or phenomenology with anger, fear, or the need to attack.
A cardinal rule for meeting the unknown is never meet force with force. Force is not the almighty power of the universe. It is Flow. The ultimate "powers" are manifest in us when we are in Flow, not when we have reduced ourselves to fearful, forceful or violent attempts to dominate. Flow experiences along with mystical, psychic and peak experiences have been qualified as exceptional human experiences (EHE's). EHE's cannot be made to happen. They are powerful, spontaneous moments of "grace" which alter one's sense of self within the universe, or even as the center of the universe. Rather than resulting in egomania, EHE's bring one to a state of reverence for the holiness of all life.(3)
Spiritual proficiency is like aikido, the martial art which recognizes there are no attackers, only "partners" on the common ground of Flow. Aikidoists do not attempt to force their opponents in a specific direction.(4) Neither can we with the entities and energies we may meet, for we will one day come upon a bigger bully than ourselves. The most powerful spiritual warrior is one who never has to draw her/his sword.
Most of us have been misinformed about defending ourselves. Usually, in our past somewhere, we have been taught by authority figures and/or painful experiences that our best defense is an overt offense. So we make a preemptive strike, attacking before we are attacked, in order to be safe from the expected onslaught. Once we think defensively, we are already in attack mode because that's what defense means: I'm going to attack you back, albeit in the name of my vindication. Rarely, if ever, have we been taught that there is no need to defend or attack because there is nothing to fear.
Having forgotten we are defensible, we are persuaded to rely on "outside protectors," or "outside authorities," someone or something purported to be a more capable champion than the spirit within. These faulty teachings do nothing but confirm our deepest fear that we are, in fact, only bodies which are always vulnerable and unsafe. Obviously this kind of teaching has grounded us in the fearful tactics which are today so prevalent in our inner and outer world today.
Thus are we reduced to incorporating attitudes and behaviors which would make us appear mighty in battle, though battle will only result in continued "justifiable" assaults. If we do battle, we are assailants in kind with dark force energies; and so we are deprived of the wisdom of the spiritual giant within. In this way do we obstruct or interfere with the "hallowed accidents"(5) —those grace-full interventions that happen in spite of our spiritual ineptness—which otherwise would likely occur.
We cannot seek after spiritual proficiency while neglecting its basic tenets. With every choice—and we are always choosing—we must ask ourselves: "Does this thought/opinion/action add to or detract from the light of this world?" "Does it confirm or deny the essence of my spiritual being?"
"I am Light. I was created of Light to be Light. I exist in a bubble of Light. Only Light can come to me. Only Light can emanate from me. Only Light can be here."(6) By our experience of this are we made blessed.
Though we sometimes believe we are inadequate, and often do not lay claim to our spiritual heritage, such denial is but another hoax we impose upon ourselves. We possess divine attributes. To ignore them is vain. To make use of them is our purpose on earth. In this way, the might and magnificence of our original nature will be undeniable. Within that experience, fear has no home.

Secondly, the site www.HeartOfGod.com is a good site when you have a question regarding psycic self-defence (a site from Singapore). This is a major subject on the site. Besides references to books, etc... on this subject, usefull reactions tend to be given to psycic self-defence issues.

Ofcourse I don't know if you are already familiar with the site, but I realy advise you to visit there and describe your situation to them ("Kyo" is the host of this site)
.

I wish you all the strength you need. Have faith in yourself!
