Hi all,

I have a question about kundalini. I have begun getting these shots up my spine awhile ago. It feels euphoric when it happens. It's duration is a few seconds almost like getting goose bumps but different.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? :)

Lately i've been getting alot of moles appearing, or spots on my skin, some darker than others some bumpier than others. I remember a discussion about them relating to negative entities or something of that sort?

Although I haven't really been doing anything weird way before they started appearing. I don't really know what is causing them, are they natural? Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Stomach
August 14, 2004, 07:28:21
I have been having some stomach problems for about 2-3 years now, It all started when I went to Turkey with my family and got a stomach flu, Got hospitalized for 3-4 days, and ever since I haven't been feeling right. Been visiting doctors and taken all sorts of tests and they have found nothing. Still my stomach keeps bothering me, some mornings I can barely eat, even some whole days.

It is pretty disappointing that there seems to be no cure to this. The doctors do not know anything. I am meditating every day and doing Qigong. I am wondering, does anyone else have these kind of problems or has anyone had any experience, I would really appreciate just about anything.

Cheers [:o)]

Welcome to Dreams! / Lé Guitar
August 12, 2004, 05:37:33
Background:
I usually play guitar for about 3-4 hours/day. And I am pretty serious about my playing. Music is my passion! Lately I have been checking music academys out and they all have had pretty intensive entrance exams (too much for me basically). Anyway ...

The Dream:
I had this dream tonight where I was playing my guitar and it broke! The neck was in two pieces, and I was devastated! But I went to a guitar store to pick out a new neck, that's where this dream ended.

Then I had another dream, where my pinky got crooked or something similiar and I was worried about that, but then I realized it was my left hand (my picking hand), so I wasn't going to use my pinky there anyway.

Can these dreams indicate something? Am I taking my playing too seriously? Am I playing too much (I doubt it[:o)])? Any help?

I just recently began doing Qigong every morning (Pal Dan Gum) and I have had a small break in my N.E.W training (about 2-3 weeks). What I feel though is kinda odd, I sometimes do N.E.W when watching TV and I can feel my energy being thicker and more dense?

Does anyone have any explanation to this? Can it be the Qigong? Why does it feel thicker?

Cheers [8D]

Welcome to Dreams! / First Lucid
July 16, 2004, 03:35:08
I think I just had my first lucid (as far as I can remember) this morning. I'm just going to skip to the end of the dreaming part. I was being chased by the police, they had motorcycles, cars, airplanes etc after me. Then I thought... "Hey, this doesn't usually happen, I must be dreaming". And so I felt a slight tingling sensation and looked around, the car was floating in a void, the driver (a friend) didn't move. And so I thought I would want to go to the drivers cabin (don't know why [:D]). But I needed help, so I called for help and I was in my room with  another friend, he called after some blob? And so a blob entered the room and sat in my chair, we talked a bit (don't remember about what).

I then read something beside my bed (I was sitting my bed), It said that this blob was the best help I could get, and that we should get a electrical contact to plug him in (???? :D). And a friend did, the blob disappeared for a bit... Then he came back in human shape, and began talking, It all seemed friendly. I didn't get any bad feelings. And by this time I had forgotten all about the cabin business and we started talking about something. Then he said he will be back in 2 weeks (??) and

I said "I can't make it out here, I can't project constantly".
He answered "Well, what do you see when you try?", He then showed me these three pictures.

....

Let's asign these pictures some numbers, The one on the left is 1, middle 2, right 3.
And so he said, "Do you see this? (pointing at number 1)".
I answered "well, not really"
"Do you see this then? (pointing at number 2)" He said.
"Sometimes I do but mostly I just get thrown into my own thoughts" I replied.
"Something like this? (and he pointed on number 3)" He asked. But what I also did not do in the picture was, He showed me the thought screen, but he also showed that behind the thought screen were the patterns similiar to the ones shown in picture 1 and 2.

Then I think the dream started taking over because, He then started to leave and said "This will cost 50SEK/week", That I did not understand at all?. And finally.. Why does picture number 2 has a "K" in it? He said that if I see this (pointing at number 2) picture with the "K" that will be from him.

I thought i'd share this first lucid experience, and it was truly an odd one. [8D]

P.S the "blips" in picture number 2 are supposed to symbolize stars, and in picture number 1 they are supposed to look like contrails.

How do you go about when you want to meditate to ask some questions? I have tried the most logical way (for me) when I reach a state of relaxment and feel heavy with tingly sensations. I then ask questions and try to focus but no response ever comes, in any way. Am I doing something wrong or...? [:)]

Has anyone read this book? If so, do the exercises in the book work. What did you think of the book? What was good and what was bad in your opinion. [:)]

I just did my full 1 hour session for the first time, I've been doing N.E.W for 30min a day for about a month now. Today I decided to do it for 1 hour while watching some telly, it went pretty ok. I started stimulating the secondary centers first and then started raising energy, Mixing the two-part circuit and the full body circuit. Worked quite well actually. It's been a few hours now and my head is kinda throbbing, it's not a headache but it feels like one but it still isn't (if you know what I mean [:P]). Anyone had a feeling similiar to this?

Whenever i'm doing energywork with my eyes closed my eyelids tense up, I'm not sure if they really tense up, but I get that feeling. I then have to open them up and close a few times and then I can proceed again, but this feeling keeps coming back. And I'm making sure I completely relax my eyelids, still it occurs. Anyone else having this?

I have been doing energy raising, the two-part circuit for about a month now, usually 20-30 Minutes a day. I do not get any sensations in my sub-navel when drawing energy from feet and hands. I feel the energy when I draw in from my feet, knees and up to my hips, from there I direct it to the sub-navel. I can feel that clearly, I do have some trouble drawing the energy from my hands and directing in to my sub-navel. I do not feel it as intense as I do when I draw it from my feet, does it matter? And does it matter if I get feelings in my sub-navel? Am I doing something wrong was the first question to enter my mind :)

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Qigong and Hermetics
July 02, 2004, 10:08:38
I have just read a few threads about Qigong and Hermetics (one of them was the one with ArchAngel Michael [:D]). I was wondering if anyone knows any good URLs with information how to get going with these two topics, or maybe even a few books? I looked at this thread http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3359&SearchTerms=hermetics and all I couldn't find anything for the beginner in those links.

I have been looking at a few books, I don't know if this first one has anything to do with Qigong but it's worth asking about[8D]

1. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0062517791/qid=1088781884/sr=1-5/ref=sr_1_5/104-2306254-1306338?v=glance&s=books

The second one is "Initiation into Hermetics" by Franz Bardon
2. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1885928122/104-2306254-1306338?v=glance
This book did have some really good reviews but some say it was outdated and that there are better alternatives. This is one of the reasons I wanted to ask you guys if you have any recommendations and could point me in the right direction!

P.S I didn't really know where else to post this since I had both Hermetics and Qigong in the same thread [:I]

I've recently been doing alot of meditation and trying to project. I do it for a total of 1-1.5 hours a day. I always "wake up" from my meditations after exactly 30 minutes. That is odd. Anyway, when i'm doing this I first lay down, relax all muscles and then try to clear my mind. Then I just imagine myself falling or using the rope technique that Robert Bruce suggests.

Then I get stuck at this state when I feel some energy sensations through my chest and my heart center is pumping alot. After that I get nowhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello,

I've been trying the N.E.W system. But nothing seems to happen? I've tried the circular motion on my thumb-joint, on both left and right sides. Doing it for several minutes and trying to move my awareness to my thumb, I don't feel anything.

Any advice?

Cheers [^]

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / time?
March 28, 2004, 03:29:03
Hiya,

As you may have noticed from my previous zero posts I am new here. I've been reading about OBE and Lucid dreaming for only about a week, but I have managed to read Robert Petersons first book and Journeys out of body by Robert Monroe and I have Astral Dynamics on the way :)

But I have one slight problem, I can't seem to find any time or not enough time to practice (since I still live at home). People come running into my room all the time, And If I only do it in the morning i'll only get about 30-40 minutes per day? Is that enough?

Well, Cheers :)

Yeah, the doctor I was at just said "It's probably just in your MIND". I'm beginning to dislike doctors, especially western style doctors.

My suggestion to you is to start focussing on what makes it worse and better as your guide.  Try drinking a couple of litres of water each day, no coffee or chocolate, make sure you eat three full meals with little fats, salts or sugars, eat lots of veges and a few fruits all spaced out throughout the day.  Also invest in Acidophillus capsules, they can have an incredible positive effect.

Yup! I have Acidophillus caps, they are nice when my stomach gets really bad, really helps me out of that "trench" :). Since I lift weights I usually eat 5-6 meals a day, food every 2.5-3 hours or so. I have just recently began to keep a "food journal" to see if there is anything in there that can affect my condition. My suspicion right now lies in wheat bread and such things. But we will see.

I firmly started to believe that most stomach problems can be fixed with proper diet when I found this site.
http://www.cobbler.plus.com/btvc/beginners_guide/the_science_behind_the_diet2.htm

And here is the book, look at all these reviews. I found 5-8 bad reviews out of 125. That's not bad.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Stomach

These are some excellent replies wisp! I must say that I am still pretty confused on the subject, what to do and so on. I do exercise regularly 3-4 times a week. Mostly weightlifting, and I eat pretty healthy (in my opinion). No such things as pizza, hamburgers etc, my stomach can't handle those. At the time when I was nauseated at school I practiced Jujutsu so I don't think my shape should've been a problem.

I just don't know, I will have to keep searching the internet and asking people for advice. Searching alternative methods, doing my meditation and qigong. Perhaps say a prayer? What do you think?

And since I found out about the astral realm, meditation, energy work and how everything works(This happened in January 2004). That there is something else after death, my stomach problems have decreased a bit. I have been a happier person in general when I knew death wasn't the end.

Thanks [:)]

Weak stomach? Get strong.

Are you nauseated or just lack an appetite?

I mostly lack appetite, but a year or so ago at school I became nauseated, started to sweat and almost puked in the classroom. That wasn't too nice of a feeling. Is there anything else I can do to balance myself than meditation and Qigong practice?

I would be interested to hear what kind of problems you had and what you did to get rid of them in more detail, and how they started. It is odd because all these stomach problems started to happen a few weeks after my Turkey trip. I mean, after the trip I felt good, nothing unusual, then suddenly I get the stomach thing again and I have gotten it on and off since then.

Fear? For what? But I don't think this has to do with fear so much.

Welcome to Dreams! / Lé Guitar

That is a really good interpretion (spelling?) wisp! I think the broken/crooked finger and the broken guitar neck were separate dreams, Could that mean anything? I was pretty frustrated with my guitar playing before I went to bed. Maybe that could be a clue too? I am really bad at interpreting dreams, Have to start studying the topic more closely when I have more time and have finished the books I have at the moment! :)

Naiad780,

Blackbox explained Qigong better than I could ever have done, I hope you are satisfied with his answer [^]
#23
I will certainly never stop doing Qigong, I will have to try and make N.E.W a daily practice. As well as meditation and hope all goes well [:o)]
#24
Good points! I always do Qigong in the morning right after getting out of bed in silence. But the thing is that, when I am in complete silence I cannot hear the "sss" sound. I have tinnitus (you constantly hear a beeping noise in your ears), so it's kind of annoying but I'm used to it. Just wish I could hear the beautiful silence :)
#25
Listening to music while doing N.E.W should be okay, right? I would assume soothing music will be better than Heavy Metal because of musics ability alter moods? [^]
