Messages - lucid dancer

I have just started a dream/projection group. There are two other people in my group. I think we can meet each other anytime in dreams (there is no time). We're wondering if we have to project around the same time in order to meet.

My theory is that there is no time like we have in the physical world. Time is nowhere and everywhere, time is now, etc. I know this is the case with higher dimensions, but does it apply to the RTZ? Any ideas?

How to connect with your guide
by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer
1987

This book is very easy to read. I almost didn't buy it, but I'm glad I did. It tells you step by step how to become a channel. They make it simple. The first few steps a lot of you already know how to do: developing a relaxed state and going into trance. You don't have to worry about communicating with all kinds of spirits (that's what a medium might do). A guide who matches you the best will make contact with you, and from then on you'll keep channeling the same being.

The way they wrote the book is quite interesting too. The writers are a couple and they both channel, so all four beings collaborated the information.

If you're really interested in dreaming, read one of Moss' books. My favorite one out of the three is 'Dream Gates'. They are by far the best dream books I've ever read, and believe me, I have a ton in my collection. They're for the advanced dreamer, meaning you should have a little knowledge about dreams to understand his books.

He explains shamanism, spirit guides, animal spirit guides, symbolism, precognition dreams, sharing dreams, time travel, etc. He explains how to be a conscious dreamer, rather then a lucid dreamer. Do you know the difference? A lucid dreamer can control everything around him/her for entertainment purposes. A conscious dreamer will observe the environment, knowing that he can gain knowledge from it.
Don't buy this book if you believe dreams are mere visions in your mind, or random firings in your brain.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / my art website
April 01, 2003, 02:09:01
I'm so excited! I finally got a website! Please check it out and let me know what you think. I created it myself, knowing nothing about computers. So, I'm not sure if everyone will be able to view it. I might have to make a few changes. All illustrations are done with colored pencils.//star-portraits.comLet me know what you think!

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried metamusic. It's music combined with hemi-synch. There are samples you can listen to if you go to the site. I think it's a good idea, and it would make imagination easier. It looks like there's about forty differant albums to choose from. Does anyone know if these have quality music?

Welcome to Astral Chat! / map project?
March 03, 2003, 02:49:01
Did I miss something? I don't recall reading anything about a map project. Is it top secret? Can someone explain what it's about? I'm very curious!

Welcome to Integral Philosophy! / need cheering up?
December 08, 2002, 01:09:23
This is mostly common sense... I'm feeling a little down tonight, and this idea is cheering me up. I feel somewhat lost in my life right now, loving someone who doesn't love me...or so it seems. So, this is for all of you who need more sunshine in your day. When you take time to make yourself spiritually stronger, you will create a whirlpool that attracts everything you need and want to you. You don't have to try so hard to set everything in the physical. If you meditate, do energy work, project, enhance your dreams, or whatever...things you need and want in life will come to you. You could even do a visualization excersize. Imagine yourself (in third person perspective) spinning and symbols of things that you want slowly being pulled closer to you. So, make yourselves stronger!

Welcome to Astral Chat! / symbols
November 03, 2002, 02:28:16
Does anyone know of a good book of symbols?  I still have a symbol in my head that hasn't been solved yet.  I don't believe it's a rune or letter. It reminds me of the moon.  It looks kinda like this:    )O(    ... the half circles are touching the full circle, and there are dashes        -  -      where the curves touch.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / akashic pulse (dream)
September 29, 2002, 01:37:35
Hello everyone! I just want to share my dream with you. I've been noticing the akashic pulse in dreams. It usually interrupts my flight or other journeys.  I couldn't figure it out at first and struggled against it, then after a few seconds allowed it to take me. This last occurance was awesome. I don't recall what my dream consisted of before hand, but it was interesting and fun. I was involved with the events in my dream...I felt the gentle tug pulling me backwards. What amazes me about it is that I had no resistance at all. I didn't even think about struggling. It was like a sweet breath of fresh air....happening in an instant. There was a flash of soft, bright light and I saw my body floating (close up view). My body was positioned like the character in Fire In The Sky (the movie)...when they pull him into the space ship.  I woke up after I experienced the breath.  WOW! It was incredible!

Welcome to Dreams! / How is your memory?
September 12, 2002, 03:33:55
Lately I've been having a pattern. While I'm dreaming, I can remember other dreams that I've had...rather then waking life.  I know of at least three of these experiences.  It's always a place that triggers the memory... a mall, a school, an old building with an elevator, etc.  I think it's strange. It makes my dreaming life seem more real.  Also, I think there's something preventing me from recalling my waking life when I'm dreaming. I know I can probably program myself to remember some things...but having an AWARENESS of myself would be nice.       So, I would like to know what you guys think and what your own experiences are like.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / complications
September 07, 2002, 03:52:48
I tried for my first conscious exit tonight and there were a few things stopping me. I was able to totally relax my body, go into trance and do motion excersizes. Everything seemed to be flowing fine. I had no aparent fear. Then I had the feeling like it was going to happen. I kind of swelled up, I started breathing faster, etc. These things are fine with me, but what bothers me is when my eyes flutter. I try to forcefully keep them closed. I found that my head was pushed a little back, so I relaxed again.    ...I'm listing a lot of things trying to solve them myself. What I really want to know from you is, how long should I practice NEW before I attempt another serious projection? Is it necessary to stimulate the primary chakras before projecting? ...I feel crazy asking these questions. I have researched this stuff, but everything is differant when you stop thinking about things and actually experience them(or try to!).

Welcome to Dreams! / defining LDs and OBEs
August 13, 2002, 04:14:08
I'd like to know  your honest opinion on dreams and projections.  I'm a little confused and I'm trying to research the boundries. Some think that dreams and projections are clearly different phenomenon. Some think that you can travel from a dream into a projection and vise versa.   ...I've stumbled across a problem. With my latest dreams, as soon as I become lucid, I get excited and think that I can automaticly turn it into a projection. I haven't even stopped to create a door or anything. So, I figure that I should work on my patience.  However, tonight I was pondering the differance between both states. Would going through a doorway in your dream really allow the switch to occur?

I just moved into my new home. I'm looking forward to decorating. I've watched way too many Christopher Lowell shows.  I'm considering a shade of red for one of my rooms.  However, I'm having second thoughts about the color, because it's related to the lowest dimension.  I get excited when I think about living with Violet and blue. They are related to high dimensions.  Negs are attracted to darkness... are they attracted to any colors?

#14
I'm still reading the book.  I think I'm taking my time, because I don't have any other good books to read. Anyway, I was curious about core images. I understand the concept, but haven't actually went through the excersize.  I'm wondering if I'll have trouble in the begining. Now that I know that I might see  symbolism of negs, I might create the image myself.  How can I distinguish what's real?  Has anyone had trouble getting started?

#15
OK,  I started reading PPSD, and I'm impressed with the contents.  I haven't gotten far with NEW yet, so I'm not sensitive.  I just want to have the information for the future.       ....However something doesn't make sense to me.  All living creatures are able to absorb energy from earth and air.    So, how could it be that spirits/ negs can't do the same thing?  Why do they need a host to feed???

#16
OK, I'm not a computer genius, so this might make you laugh. I can't go to the home page, or other pages from the forum. Am I crazy? I have to type in an address to get there ...and revisit!

Lately I've been having a lot of dreams of projections.  During one of my adventures, I realized that I had been away for a while.  Maybe it was time to start back.  I went through a few buildings and looked down at trees and homes.  Flying around was simply wonderful.  I thought that I was far away, since I didn't recognize any of the structures.  I didn't want to be pulled into my body, but I wanted to be close. So I tried to feel for my home instead.  It struck my curiousity. When I think about it now, it seems like a good way to travel.     ...Has anyone tried this?

#18
I'd be greatful if anyone knows of lucid dreaming or projection devices.  I know that sounds weird.  I can think of a few, like CDs or the Nova (rem state triggers a flashing light), etc.  I recently had an idea for an invention and need to look around to see if it's already been made!    ...So if you know of sites, that will help!  Thanks

Welcome to Dreams! / Balloon Effect
May 24, 2002, 19:14:14
Am I alone here?     I've experienced this effect a few times.  I'm pretty sure that it's related to projection somehow.  I've noticed there are a few patterns happening.  This balloon effect usually takes over me interupting fast movement (flying, running, fighting,etc.).  It feels like you fall fo the ground in a clumsy way and bob around uncontrolably ...like a balloon losing helium.  After trying to control it (I never succeed), I wake up.  I've also been interupted with a spinning effect.  I was in the middle of a sword fight, and began to spin around slowly in a clockwise direction.        Robert included the balloon in one of his dream entries ...AD.  He didn't explain anything about it. Darn!

Welcome to Dreams! / GUIDES
May 20, 2002, 01:34:47
I just had an incredible dream. I was at one of my common locations and finally became lucid. I decided to go flying. I was slowly gaining altitude gliding over buildings. Everything looked so beautiful. I was taking it all in. During this time, I must have lost myself, (wanting it to be real) and changed my perspective. I now thought that I was out of body. This was a very long, exciting fantasy. I won't tell you too much, because that would be a lot of typing!    I'm curious about the person I met.  Everything seemed so real. I met a guy who was giving me hints, trying to guide me.  He taught me a few things about battles. Later on in the dream, I actually happened to cross the path of shapeshifters and battled them one by one ( there were three of them) while he watched.  I remembered meeting with someone else at a previous time.  I know the names of both men, and what they look like.  I'm curious to find out if they are actual people, or if I'm imagining things again!        ...REPLIES are most welcome!

I was just wondering what you guys think of hypnotism. I've always had mixed thoughts about it. I think I might look into it to solve a problem that I have. However, I'm nervous about actually going through with it. I don't want to leave myself spiritually vulnerable.  ...Please reply!  Any experiences?

Welcome to Dreams! / Euphoria after death
May 13, 2002, 02:25:10
This is something I've experienced, but I don't know if it was an OBE or a dream. It's weird, but true. If anyone can help me understand it, I'd be appreciative. It happened a few years ago in May.  These were the days when I had to wake up to an alarm clock. It's so difficult for me to wake up, since I love sleep so much. So, the alarm goes off, and I hit the snooze button for ten more minutes.     ...I found myself in complete darkness. I'm pretty sure that it was blindness, or a void.  A female spirit came to me. She was full of joy and laughter. She told me that she had just died. It seemed so weird how she just said it like it didn't even matter -like irrelevant.  We talked while floating in the air and laughed. This next part is even a little more strange. She let me experience what it was like to be her. For a moment I felt like two people at the same time.  I caught a glimpse of a few of her memories. I saw her father and I knew she got good grades at school. She was my age too. These things didn't seem to matter when both of us were feeling complete bliss. It seemed like just seconds went by. I had to go. I began reaching for a window. This was the only visual I had. It didn't look like a real window. The angles were a little obscure, diagonal. Then I heard the annoying noise of the alarm clock, and I woke up to my day. I still don't know if the experience was real, or who she was. However, I'm extremely thankful that it happened and that I met her. It blows my mind!

Welcome to Dreams! / Is there only one dream ?
January 06, 2004, 04:47:17
of course it is possible to have several "dreams" at the same time. This occurs from the mind split effect. Most of the time, we just remember the most exciting or profound experience over the other experience, but in rare occasions we recall both (seperate experiences taking place at the same time). I recall being in the real time zone and still held onto my dream.

you assume that dreams are all in your head
