Messages - Azrael of the Astral

( Not too sure if this is the right forum for this, but here goes . . . )

I'm pretty new to AP and OBEs, I've only had one, maybe two, projections so far - I was trying to get to sleep . . . but that's another story. However I already no a lot about the Astral, etc. and I have quite a sum of experience with lucid dreams. But, what I'm actually writing here about is a recent "phenomena" that occured to me - last night in fact. I was trying a new projection method I had found yesterday arvo, the 6:00 AM Alarm method. Didn't work (of course, I didn't expect it to for the first few tries), but I ended up having about five fully lucid dreams.
After awaking awaking after one of the dreams (I woke up after each), I was recounting it and also trying to settle myself back into bed. About a couple minutes after I had awoke, the *smoke alarm* went off from just outside my bedroom door - and there is actually a smoke alarm there, for you guys out there. It lasted about 10 seconds, and my initially thought was "OH! FIRE!" but after it stopped I lay in bed trying to smell for smoke. I didn't find any, so I decided to check for myself.
One of the things that caused me to do this is because it didn't seem that any of my family was awake . . . ? I opened the door and lo and behold, no fire! Not a single spark or flame and not a single wiff of smoke.
After all my reading into AP and all that, one of my first thoughts (of course, after the "what the hell?" thought . . .) was "Ahh . . false awakening!" So I checked, my hands wouldn't melt, I couldn't fly, etc.
So I ended up going back to bed, and woke up in the morning. Of course, first thing, I asked my family if they heard the alarm. None said yes. This intrigued me - UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!! I considered the possibilities. I definitely wasn't dreaming; I had checked. Then it hit me - I must have been out-of-body! Something like that happening was almost . . . logical, on the astral.
Later that day though, I realised that couldn't be the case either. Otherwise, my hands would have been able to melt, and I would have been able to fly, too. I pondered this all through school, and I finally came to a solution. I mean, I didn't know if it could be so, so that's why I'm writing here. Here's my idea: astral hearing. Hey, for all I know, this concept could have already been discovered, but I'm not sure so I'm writing anyways. Astral hearing. You're on the physical, but you can here what's happening on the Astral. Kinda like Astral sight, but . . . not (lol).
I also have *symptoms* that could lead to this being a theory. Yeah, we're actually getting somewhere! The morning of the day before, my eyes popped. You know, that thing you get when you go up in altitude (like when a plane takes off). But it was a little different. It *felt* like my ears were popped, but I could still hear properly, ie., the sounds didn't sound 'far away' or anything. The other thing was that anything I tried to get rid of it didn't work. This 'popped' feeling stayed with me for more than a day. So, that is, it was still with me when I heard the smoke alarm. And I *DID* hear it, I didn't just imagine it or anything. I distinctly remember hearing a smoke alarm. THE smoke alarm outside my bedroom door.
Well, that's it. That's my theory. Astral hearing. Tell me what you guys think. Is it a reasonable idea? WAS I out-of-body . . . WAS I dreaming afterall? I'd like to know.

Just so you guys know, last night I brought the topic up again (actually I think my mother brought it up as a joke, I can't really remember it was pretty late).

Anyway, my father told me he also heard the alarm go off; he was the only member of my family that I hadn't asked the morning after the incident. He had already left for work and I didn't get a chance.

He recounted how he woke up in the middle of the night (or whatever time it was) to hear the alarm go off. His first thought was "No way!!!! I'm not getting up, it can't be, it's still dark outside." That is, he thought it was his alarm. After a few moments he did realise it wasn't his, and then thought that is was mine. But then, coupled with the darkness outside and the different sound of the alarm, he did realise it was the smoke alarm.

I asked him which alarm he heard, and he told me; the same one I heard, just outside my door.

So now both my father and I heard the mystical smoke alarm. His wife (my mother) who was lying *next to him* did not wake up and didn't hear the alarm at all. The same issue was apparent with my little brother and sister, who were both sleeping in their rooms next to mine, ie. *less than five metres* away from the alarm. They both sleep with their doors open so there were absolutely no obstructions between them and the smoke alarm (I did have my door shut).

Well, that's my little update to the message, so now I'm off.
