Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / I DID IT!!!

Good question.  I would say neither.  It doesn't map well into what I know as the normal physical reality.   It wasn't that it was more real, it was less "cloudy" or hazy.  Maybe a better description would be the idea of pure thought and feeling without filters, interpretation, or distractions.

Sorry for the delay.  I am aware of rhtyhm-napping but I really wasn't practicing it.  My experience seems to reinforce the rhythm napping method.

Alpine 9 - My state of being?  Normal day except for an active search for God and recent acceptance of Jesus Christ.    In all honesty - I don't know if Jesus would approve of OBE's.  One note though, I could not get over of how clear the mind is during an OBE.  I enjoyed Clarity of the Mind more than the OBE itself (however, My astral body did do a faceplant during my OBE).

Was it worth it? - Yes - no doubt.  I feel much more spirtual and now have a thirst for knowledge about God and Jesus.  And yes - it is like everyone says.

Philosopicalfreak - I would recommend purchasing Robert Bruces book about Astral Projection.  You can buy it on Amazon or I believe here (this site) as well.  For me, it took about 3 months of learning.  I personally feel that you have to pursue it persistently.

Thanks Everyone!

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / I DID IT!!!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to pass on the word that I had my first successful exit this morning!

My alarm went off at 6:00 AM, I hit the snooze button for 6:30.  After hitting the 30 minute snooze, I repeatly told myself to have an obe while I feel asleep.  As I started to fall asleep, sensed light 'wavey' movements, and then wham.  I exited out of my left shoulder, rolled to the right, and fell face first on the floor (not the most graceful exit in history I would think).  While on the floor, I thought to myself to go back to my body.  After a couple of moments of sleeping paralysis, I awoke.   I was so, excited, I couldn't go back to sleep.  The entire experience lasted about 7 to 10 seconds.

I want to thank Mr. Bruce for his book and this forum.  You guys made this possible.

More stories as they develop.
