Welcome to Metaphysics! / Traveling the universe...

I should rephrase that:
Everything in its simplest form is energy.

This sounds similar to a technique I have heard called Lentation.

Try looking it up. :)

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Traveling the universe...
January 31, 2005, 04:01:28
The other day I stood atop a hill and looked down upon the rooftops of several stores below.
For just a moment, I had a feeling - no, a certainty - that it was quite possible to lift myself off the ground and fly.
But while I knew that it was possible - I also felt that there were many self-imposed limits within my mind - limits which prevented me from performing such a feat.

+++

I've heard before that everything in the universe is energy in its simplest form.
I've also heard - and I believe this to be quite true - that the universe is not a collection of separate bodies and objects, but rather everything is a part of one thing - the universe itself.
From what I understand, telekinesis is the ability to manipulate energy using your mind - and in doing so, you are actually manipulating the targeted object itself in its most basic form.
(I hope you're all following me so far.)
If all of these theories are correct, then one could form certain aspects of the universe at will - simply by using their mind to alter the energy that makes up the universe around them.

Something else I believe:
Perception is everything/ Mind over matter/ Things are exactly how you believe them to be.

+++

I think that perhaps my mind has been conditioned thus far to know that everything is separate, and in this way, I have built many hard barriers for myself.
(We think of a bowl as a bowl, rather than perhaps an extension of ourselves.)
I believe that if I was able to think of the universe and myself as a whole, as one massive body of energy, then I could in fact be able to fly as I was certain I would be able to on that hill.
If I was able to achieve such a state - then I suppose that I would also be able to teleport, and any number of things.
The idea of the ability to move around like this is an absolutely wonderful one to me!

Something else I believe I was doing wrong:
I have heard that in order to make things happen using telekinesis and such, you have to let them happen.
I was simply willing myself to float up - but perhaps in trying to force myself upwards, I was holding myself down.

I hope my rant makes sense!

Anyhow... I was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers - anything that could help me to achieve this...
Any suggestion to where I could start. :)

I'm not certain that I have the dedication to follow through with something like this, but I would certainly love to give it a shot.

Any sort of input is quite welcome!
Feel free to post your own ideas or theories, or your opinion on what I have said. :)

Welcome to Dreams! / A dream...

RedWolfHealgDrmr -
Could you explain what you mean by medicine wheel?
I have not heard of this before.

Jimmygarn -
Yes, dreams are a lot of fun. ^_^
Sadly... I don't always get enough sleeping time for dreams to come to me. :(
The days/nights that I do dream are quite welcome. :)

Welcome to Dreams! / A dream...

I'm not really certain what to think of it.
I'm not even sure it has any certain significance.
It was the most striking dream I've had in a while though.

Welcome to Dreams! / A dream...
January 16, 2005, 05:08:06
I just had a dream the other night, and I was simply wondering if anyone who was versed in the meanings of dreams could tell me what they make of it.
This is simple curiosity on my part. :)

I had a dream in which two armies were clashing, and the world was corrupted, poisoned somehow.
Suddenly, something happened, and I was standing on a cliff overlooking a huge rocky desert, near where the two armies were.
Somehow it was concluded that I was the designated(?) one, and I stepped onto a platform.
The platform began to move, and it took me through a tunnel hundreds of feet above the desert.
The tunnel was more like a hallway really, with walls and a ceiling, but no floor.
The walls had gaps in it - it was as if it was made of bricks, but more than half of them were missing.
I could see the desert far below me.
The platform sped through the tunnel, presumably on my way to see the supreme deity of the world. (God?)
I got a sense that the god was false, and that I was simply a tool - a false one, not truly intended to (save the world)?.
Periodically, the platform would stop at a more solid portion of the walls of the tunnel, and I would be able to read bits of old legends and prophecies tacked to the wall on pieces of parchment.
Notes that depicted the (biblical) history of this world.
Huge brown rocky cliffs showed up before the tunnel curved gently 90 degrees.
Later the dream led to some gardens and such where there were people I knew.
It felt like we were on some sort of field trip. x_X
(Although I don't think that has as much relevance as the tunnel over the desert.)

I didn't explain my dream very well, and for that I apologize.
If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / What is this
October 25, 2004, 00:05:35
The yellow glow was most likely an aura.
I don't know too much about auras - so I wouldn't be able to say what the color meant.
I would feel concerned for the girl, and try to talk with her.
Usually feelings like the one your girlfriend had are correct.
