Amen.  At least one of the prediction I've done was on track.  The pope died today .  Berathing issues (so I guess lungs wasn't far off, but cardio wasn't on track).  I thought I had written March as that's what I believed but I guess I didn't and besides, March is still slightly off since he died in April.

earthquakes still seems to be there.  This time around, I feel more for September.  Let's see what happens now

I'm always intrigued to read predictions/prophecies.  To me, it's like reading a book, which has a story and a plot, but with a very limited life.  It makes for great stories because we can relate to them (basic psychology).  Anyhow, I'm just intrigued to know what everyone thought about the new year.  Any predictions, gut feelings, guesses?

Personally, I feel that the pope will be retired (My first impression was lungs, but I feel something cardio - Maybe both or somehow related).  I also expect the typical increase in disaster (it's been nothing new for a while now).  My flood dream comes again to mind.  An earthquake followed by a tectonic plate shift would definitely flood the area in no time, while spawning new land; California rings a huge bell there \.  But '05 doesn't seem like inception and not the birth.

Only time will tell...

I have another inter resting method to slow down time (so to speak of course).  Instead of capturing information regularly, heighten your senses.

ie:
-feel more (your breath, your heart, the air etc)
-observe more (don't look at the surface of the objects, try to see as many of them as possible)
-think faster (your mind typically works very slowly; get it to work; seriously)
-hear more (silence is impossible; there's always a sound regardless of how faint it is)
-breath long/slowly but most importantly be aware of it

If you do this, you'll notice that time feels many times slower.  Once you reach a point where you anticipate what your senses will receive, time will almost feel like it stopped (but not quite).  For example, if you are listening to music, you are anticipating the major notes and eventually you'll anticipate parts of the notes (pitches) and eventually the slopes of the notes going deeper and deeper into the prediction/anticipation.  The deeper you can go, the slower your perception will be.

I do this in the early morning when I want to sleep longer. lol
imagine a clock moving R....E.....A.....L.....L....Y slow and then move a very slow motion keep the picture of the clock moving slow in your mind and it should work tell me what happens and how you do.

What you say is completely true.  But look at the past years.  You'll notice that he was equally ill and sick and MANY predicted his death only to fail on their predictions.

well he's very old and very ill i don't need to be a guesser to know he'll be dead soon -_-

I also get the impression that it will change the religion as we know it today.  I can't really say how, but still.  Mind you, it only takes a more liberal pope to change things drastically.  One previous tried that, but murdered he was...

I once read Hannussen predicted that there will not be another pope
once this one dies & his death will begin the fall of the Catholic church.

I've posted this already in a "predictions for 2005" thread, but I feel it stronger theses days than I did at the beginning of the year.  The pope is at his last threads.  Somehow, I think he also knows or feel it.  He's marching` towards the other side.

That's very possible.  I think that I'm like that.  I don't' specifically request for it (but maybe I did before coming here).  It seems that everything out weights itself through time.  Sometimes I see it as bad luck, but in reality, I think it's just an echo effect

I was told by a woman with multiple personality disorder, who could also channel spirits and communicate with animals, that you could achieve instant karma by just sincerely asking for it. If so, it would be great for spiritual development since you'd learn from your mistakes right away and advance "faster".

Hehe, I'm currently not asking for this since I've chosen the "dark side."

As it is; you did choose to be here.  And you also likely chose to come back here =).  You're trying to connect with a piece of yourself, yet you already are connected to it.  Perhaps you're just not listening or can't really interpret things.   Perhaps you're looking for hard-evidence type of answers when you should trust your feelings some more.  No amount of words will fully convince you of anything you don't already believe (at least that's what I think).

As far as loving someone; what you have to ask yourself is this "What do you really love?"  Is it the body, the personality, the presence or something beyond all of that which you can't really explain?  A body dies, a personality also dies and a presence is a manifestation of your own emotions on someone.  So what DO you really love in the end?  If you love someone genuinely, it will go beyond the looks, the personality and the little things that seem to mater so much.

It seems that your patience is what's killing you here.  You gotta work on patience and concentration.

Ok, Reincarnation. Supposedly, I chose to be here. Right? Well since I'm so disconnected with my true self, and no matter what method I try I can't connect, I find it hard to believe that there are 2 of me;
1. My physical Self
2. My spiritual Self

Now my physical self does not want to reincarnate again. I've had it with this planet, I don't want to come back. Sad to say that? Yes, but I'm serious.

Now if my "TRUE- SELF" wanted to come here to experience and I can't remember because I'm disconnected and probably never will be reconnected, then how the hell and I to believe that there is such thing as free will.

Do you know how sickening it is to me to learn of everyone elses enlightenment's and astral travel and to want to experience it myself, but nothing works. I feel no energy, I can't relax.

Also, what is the sense of loving someone if you are separated at death and carnate into another body?

I find the free will concept very hard to believe. I want what I want, but my true self wants different?

This is what really really really aggravates me to no end and I want to explode. Now granted, I've only been meditating for a month, if that, but how long does it take before I have the ******* answers to the questions that have been gnawing at my stomach since my inception on this planet. Yeah I'm mad, very angrily ticked off type of mad dammit

Sometimes you simply have to pause and think "Will it really make a difference".  Sometimes, the best way to answer a question is by spawing more questions (chicken and egg).

This is a bloody nightmare-constant assumptions about hallucinations,lack of evidence,etc...

followed by a bunch of terminology that automatically seems to assume that their argument is better than any argument an EXPERIENCED person can offer.

as much as these mindsets claim to be about the search for truth,the pathways are automatically closed.Their reasoning is purely circular.

if you jump you will notice, either you jumped regular (in the physical) or your flying in the astral, now you can  escape the illusion and awake in the astral.  OR pull your finger.. since matter is definately different in the astral your finger will stretch.. Where by then awaking and gaining conciousness to escape the illusion.

I know what you mean.  The illusion is totally convincing.  I had never had anything as *real* as this for a lack of a better word.  It was very interesting and I can definitely see how annoying this can become if you cannot discern *reality* from a dream :\

Yeah, that's a false awakening.

I have had problems with these, to the point of having hundreds of false awakenings, one after the other.

This makes me totally paranoid, to the point of not knowing when I'm really awake or not right after I wake up. I always pinch myself really hard, but even so I can't be sure (because I've pinched myself before, felt the pain, then woke up for some other reason to see it was false).

Scary.

I've noticed that when you do energy work on a specific area, that this area becomes warmer (at least for me).  It heats up slightly and if you look in a general medical book, you'll notice that heat often helps the healing process.  Now I'm not sur how energy work relates to heat but hopefully I can figure that one out too at some point =)

I've been using the NEW energy system to avoid or heal injuries in the past with great success.  I had a cut on my tonsil for two weeks that healed in one night after using NEW, and I've recently avoided 2 flu cases where my entire college campus seemed to get sick, but using the NEW system at first symptoms, I never progressed past throat-tickle.

I thought with such amazing results that I would love to use the same technique on my bad eyesight, which has long past hit the 1000 mark for glasses on nearsightedness.  Before I started using the system to heal my eyes, I hadn't needed new glasses for about 3 or 4 years.  That is, my eyes got really bad really quick from age 11 to 18 or so, but stopped there.

However, once I started using the NEW system to try and heal my eyes again, I've noticed a very slight, but continuing deterioration of my sight since beginning the sponging and moving of energy around my eyes.  I don't know why.

While I use the system to heal my eyes, do you guys think it would be a good idea to have my glasses off for a week or so while I try and heal them, because I had them on while I healed them earlier?  Or am I doing something wrong?

I agree =).  As a mathematician, I can also asses that there is no such thing as "luck" or randomness.  It's just one damn complex equation.

Theres lots of things in my physical life that I didnt choose... getting cavities, getting caught by the police, etc. Extending that to astral, I probably didnt choose a lot of the stuff that happens there either. I could be in this body by pure accident. I'll not act like I chose it until I remember such choosing.

Really ?  Are you sure you had no part in choosing the getting of cavities and the being caught by police ?

Surely the events that led up to each of those things was brought about by the choices you made in your life.   Think about it.  Why would the police catch you if there was nothing to be caught for, except perhaps for a mis-indentification..  which is easily sorted.

Actually, this is one of the best description I've read in quite a while ).  Of course it isn't really a description since it uses metaphors to illustrate it, but we all know that that's pretty much the only way to talk about things which are brings are purely not designed to understand.  I also like the spiral since there's the concept of a merge point with that metaphor.  Thanks,

It seems you're not the only one who has been told this by a spirit! They obviously have a much better grasp on the concept of time than we do.

A good explanation I read about how to relate to time is firstly, dont think of it as linear, esp. not in a horizontal direction, but rather vertical, kind of like an office building of infinite height, with an infinite number of floors. All events in time exist at once. We then just perceive events from one floor of that building.

Being able to look into past or future isn't a matter of moving forward or backward in time, but learning where the elevator is, and moving up and down to different floors, because we are not looking at different directions in time, we are just looking at different "nows".

It can also be said that time does not move, we move through it.

I could think about it some more, but if I do, my brain might try to implode!

It's defiantly hard.  But I'm not convinced that it's even possible.  it's kind'a like requiring your body to be awake for one full week straight; or even worst, to stay awake for infinity.  It's a mater of energy balance

I dont see why it would be impossible to have that much energy. Its just really HARD.

Yah; I read that over the news.  It's a little more sensational than the title proposes, but it's nonetheless the proof that we're getting closer and closer to that point.  It sounds kind'a like Atlantis all over again with a different scenery/style.  For theses who wondered where the hybrid animal/humans came from; you may be intrigued to know that Atlantis had performed numerous experiences at the genomic level and they did indeed generate an interesting array of hybrids, some of which we have remnants of today still.  For the most part, the species were not stable enough and eventually vanished.  You can actually verify my saying by looking around the Internet or by looking out there for yourself =)

Interestingly enough, a group of music is really what got me looking after astral projection.  Notably, the group's name is called "Astral Projection"

I was wondering how many songs and artists we could name which mention Astral Projection. Maybe get a list compiled for a good CD to burn.

Actually the simple answer is no.  Basically, you need to generate enough energy to permanently stay in the astral and that's simply not possible given that you have a physical body to energize as well.

suppose one was so good at astral projection that he was able to control it 100%, could they technical never come out?  They simply never wanted to come out?  The real world is so harsh compared to the astral plane... why would you want to leave?

That sounds about right, but make sure it's not simply your 2-heartbeat that you're feeling.  I'm saying 2 because in reality, your heart pumps out, retracts and than pumps again, which does give the impression of it pumping twice (at least for me it does).  When I take my pulse sometimes, (if I lightly touch my skin instead of applying a lot of pressure, it feels like there's an intermediate beat, but it's really just the pressure going down.

If you relax a lot, you can actually feel your heartbeat pretty much anywhere (that's actually a good thing since it implies that you are that much relaxed).  You'll know when energy moves because it feels kind'a like you are nervous/in love.  At least for me, it's like there are butterflies in your stomach, but of course, it's less intense than that.  it's more constant.  The stomach is the first big storage of the energy body, so naturally, if the energy can move from your body to it, you've triggered your energy body.  Initially, unknowingly, I was doing energy work and my stomach felt weird (like I was nervous) for about a week after which it calmed down and became very light (like being in love, but less intense)

I'd like to share just a wee bit of background then describe what I'm feeling.  In response, hopefully some of you can give me some feedback as to whether I'm making progress or mistaking what I'm feeling for something else.

First, I believe it's usually pretty easy for me to find my crown chakra.  I calm myself, raise my consciousness (focus) to the center of my brow - watch my thoughts - and then just kinda wait for it to happen.  Upon doing this I soon notice a pulse there.  It feels sorta like short little bursts of air with a slight throbbing.

Well, anyway, I'm still waiting on my 90 Day course to come in - but in the meantime I've been making good use of the tutorials on this site.  This past weekend I also spent quite a long time working on the energy exercises while finishing up listening to Robert's audio interviews.  (awsome stuff by the way)..

After that I lay in bed and almost immediately felt my crown chakra - very nice and soothing I thought.  But not too long after that, without any real effort of my own I felt the same thing in my heart.

I was like a soft pulsating beat - at a hastened speed. - It was 'air-like' but not air.   It started slowly at first but quickly progressed in speed to that of a 'flutter.'  Then, soon after that,  I found the same pulse in my throat.  It was below what that which I'd call a flutter - but nevertheless faster than a heartbeat.  I think I'd also describe it as deeper, if that makes any sense.

Anyway - it was really pleasurable.  And I believe it was me finding these chakras.  But before I take that for granted I thought I might run the description by you guys and see if this sounds right to you.

Also - sorry for such a long post.. lol.. I'll try to be more succinct  next time..  

I don't believe anything about it goes against the Cath. principles per se.  At least from the top of my head, nothing clashes with them.  As you venture and discover things, you may notice some discrepencies between the two, but that's not necesarilly a bad thing.

I have just recently been starting various energy raising stuff and projection ect. I am also a fairly faithful Catholic. My question is wether or not any of these practices are against Christianity or any religion in general? I personally don't think they are but I am no theologian. Please post your thoughts on this.

I'm also getting a vibe regarding health.  Nothing serious.  Do you sleep enough?  Eat normaly?  I've had that happen before during times where I was uterly tired.

i had the WEIRDEST feeling EVER happen to me yesterday, i was at my computer just as usual talkin to some ppl on msn, and i was just sitting there, and something weird happend to me, there was this feeling like something was trying to get into my left ear and my ear was thumping kinda and then it felt like something was off, my vision started blurring and my head felt weird kinda light headed i guess, hmm, either i alomst died or something else ? ne way i just kinda shook my head from side to side and moved around a bit to get rid of the feeling and it went away, what could this be am i gonna die ?  

They both exist.  There are plenty of "proofs" that Jesus existed in various religions and books.  God on the other hand is a much more complex concept that no-one can correctly claim to understand completely.  It's like trying to teach a dog to speak a human language.

I'm generally not fond of medications for that very reason.  Of course that doesn't mean that you should completely ban them, because that can bring forth other issues, but that's not the point.  This feels to me like one of theses things which you had to go through.  Something you were programmed to do; for a lack of a better word.  What you should look forward to is the lessons that brings (not so much on a physical level).  Notice how your attitude will change in the next 2 months or so.  As a final word of advice; the *fear* you carry with you is what slows down the healing process.  Start believing in it; in yourself; shake theses fears aways and you'll feel much lighter, much happier =)

Hi everyone!  

I feel hesitant about posting this request because I don't like many people knowing about my health issues, except those I feel need to know for some reason.  However, I have become concerned about the way things are going.  Instead of improving, it seems I am getting complications.  Let me explain what I've been diagnosed with.

About two weeks ago, I found a medication I was taking became toxic, affecting my liver.  A few day later I discovered I have drug induced hepatitis, also called toxic hepatitis, caused by an overdose or toxicity of a drug.  The medication is toxic.  At that time, it was assumed I just had liver inflammation which was causing all the symptoms I had been experiencing.  Now it seems instead of the acute phase of hepatitis it was assumed I had, it has apparently developed into a worse case.  My feeling is it will be chronic hepatitis when all the tests and exams are completed because I have realized that the symptoms did not start in the last month like I thought (when they got worse) but began months ago, which I also have realized involve my kidneys.

I had been improving two days after the drastic decrease in the medication which brought on this [bleep] condition.  But I soon started getting a fever, chills, eye pain, migraines and the other signs indicative of kidney involvement as well as all the other draining symptoms of hepatitis.  I am concerned about the involvement of my kidneys, which can take a LONG time to recover in addition to the healing of the liver.  So I've got a long road ahead of me.  

Of course, I am apprehensive about my condition.  OK, I'll say it . . .  I hate to but I will . . . I am scared.  I am scared of all the months that passed as I took the medication as prescribed, noticed certain things, told my mom or my sister and they brushed it off because I felt they were right.  I didn't trust myself and I should have.  Over the last 4 months, I learned that lesson but in a different way and realized it applies to this situation too.  Now I might have damage that cannot be reversed.  

(The medication that caused this condition has brought on drug induced hepatitis in other patients taking the drug.  I found a website with actual referrals WHERE I LIVE to get an attorney and sue the doctor and the pharmaceutical company.     If I had only known about it before I started taking that [edit] pill!!! )

Please pray for me or send white light or positive energy or thoughts my way both for the illness and the area I live in.  

I live in an area with a great amount of negative energy--more than just ghosts/spirits.  Since our neighbors moved into their homes they have had bad luck (more than is normal), strange occurrences in their homes and yards, like my property, and one neighbor has lupus and has gotten worse.  My sister told me she thinks the energies in the area are complicating and exacerbating my illness--and other people's lives too.  

Concerning all the things that have happened to me, my sister, and mother; our neighbors; and the warring neighbors using witchcraft and Santeria against the other; well, it's obvious this area is not going to improve anytime soon so we are seeking another place to live.  Actually, we've found a better area with land that is 'receiving', calming, and generally the total opposite of where we live now.  I'm calling about two homes in that area tomorrow despite how [bleep] I feel.  I remembered a premonition I had over a year ago and I was in the state of health I am in now and getting worse, I was doing things to pack because we were moving.  I sense it falling into place--finding the home and unfortunately my health.  

I know a drug reached dangerously high toxic levels and I'm paying for it with my health right now but drug induced hepatitis eventually clears up.  It just depends on how long the drug had been at toxic levels in the body, what damage is done if in the chronic stage, and how long to recovery or how to live with the liver damage.  I just know the environment I live around now is not conducive to healing and progress, some neighbors never get better or not much, or they get worse.  

Send any positive energy or thoughts my way to have a complete recovery.  I am comforted in a way.  I have seen my guide and felt my guardian angels near.  I feel a positive presence around me all the time--I don't know if it's the same 'presence' or if different ones come, but I sense the latter.  I know other things are around too but I pay them no mind.  I do my thing; let them do whatever they do.    

I will continue to visit AP forums and post.  I can't resist coming and seeing how people are and what's on their mind in case I can answer something or offer something that might lead them in the right direction.

I know for a fact that everything you think pollutes your surround.  Bad thoughts linger around just as good thoughts do.  That's partly why people with a good attitude (or bad) typically makes that feel contagious.  You may already know that, but I want to cover all grounds for theses who may read and not know about it.  So the negative thoughts your roommate had was obviously affecting you, but I had yet to hear of such drastic effects from such a thing.  I get the interesting impression that it's related to food or something you drank ed before?  What did you drink/eat in the last 12hrs?

Maybe it's just a bad impression, but it feels weird.

I had a definite energy "first" today.  My roommate was talking to me about this e-mail that she had just gotten from her friend, and she was telling me how her friend suffers from depression, is completely stressed out, very upset, and angry.  To make matters worse, the friend was directing some of that anger at my roommate.

So right after she tells me this, I get this "whoosh" of sickness washing over me.  A moment before, I was about to bound up the stairs, full of life, but all of a sudden I was so shaky I didn't know if I could even make it to my chair to sit down.  I felt like I wanted to die, I was so sick.  My whole body hurt and I wanted to just collapse on the floor and not move for a day or two.

So I get to thinking that maybe this isn't *my* pain that has come over me so quickly.  I feel like I had energetically absorbed something from outside of me.  So I started to send the pain out of my body, into the ground.  I started breathing and with each exhale I pushed more of whatever this awful energy was out of me into the ground.

A few seconds, literally only seconds later I lifted my head up and I had this rush of tingling energy all over my skin and I felt *great*!  Full of energy like that episode had never happened, except my rommate saw it happen.

So, does anyone have any idea about what the heck that was?

Interresting...  I think there's a general agreement between many energy workers that something strong is brewing.  Where it does differ a lot is the manifestation of what is up.

There is a prophecy I wanted to share with you. It's not referring to year 2005 exactly, but anyway, to our time.
This is an extract from the 'Nadigrantha' by Shantaram Athvale. In this book he gives informations about several different Nadigranthas which are ancient books on astrology (like Bhrigu Samhita, Satya Nadi, Kak Nadi etc.) This extract refers to 'Kak Nadi' by Kakayyar Bhujander, a great astrologer who lived nearly 2000 years ago.

"While Jupiter is in Pisces a great Yogi will incarnate on the Earth. By 1970 it will have become quite evident to many people that a new era will have started. Kaliyuga will end and Krutayuga will start. The axis of the Earth will depress and the Earth's orbit will come closer and closer to the Sun. Human life will undergo a complete revolution. A great Yogi will incarnate at this time. [...]

Until this time a yogi or devotee could achieve the bliss of Moksha and find the ultimate meaning of his life only by following the path of devotion, knowledge and Pantanjali Yoga. But he would have to go through severe penance in order to awaken the sleeping powers of various chakras of his body and finally enlighten the Kundalini Power.

By the new method of yoga devised by the great Yogi, human beings will be able to attain the joy of Moksha within one lifetime. Due to new scientific discoveries science and religions would become one. With the help of the science the existence of God and the Soul could be proved. The veil of ignorance and Maya would be drawn aside and Brahmananda, Moksha which could previously only be attained by yogis as a result of very hard work and severe penance would become easily available to many human beings."


This piece of information, about the axis of the Earth depressing, it's quite similar to what geologists have announced after the Asia Earthquake. Nevertheless, this prophecy sounds rather comforting then scary, in all.

The vibe I get from that site is not particularly good.  I would be wary of anything this person claims.  The mere fact that he offers an immortality ring as an "immortality device" doubles my first impression.
