Hi everyone!!
I'm new here! I have posted a little and felt it was time to introduce myself formally.

I am a stay-at-home mom with two kids and a hubby who sometimes thinks I'm nuts, but I'm pulling the string a little bit over my way and he is opening up. Lol, it was cute the other day he said what is the swirling blue and purple I get when I close my eyes!! His Brow Chakra is opening up unintentionally.

I started my spiritual development/awakening last November after a 7 year sleep. It started with ears ringing the day before the death of my best friend a 13 year old mixed breed dog, who resembles the beautiful Australian Shepard's with a bit of Collie mixed in. I thought I had a sinus problems and actually sent my hubby to the store to buy me a decongestant.  LOL I was so silly.  I was aware of a child spirit that resided in my home, but did not pay much attention to it.  Shortly after the death of my dog, (she lives on heaven mountain as my youngest calls it) I was able to feel more of this child spirit around me more so and on a few occurrences actually heard him speak to me.  After I got together with some friends (psychics) who helped this little guy cross, I began developing my medium abilities a bit more, then went on into Reiki and Energy work and Tarot.


I began to try to Astral Project a few months ago with small success.  My main problem being remembering what I was doing while out.  Along with this I noticed that I can now see outside my body it's like through closed eyelids that some of you speak of but it's way above my head and very unfocused.  If I try to focus I get so drained.  The main reason why I wanted to Astral Project was to help with healing and hopefully find other ways to help others using this. The signs were all there that I was learn to this and I'm hopefully going to progress this.

I have that book as well.  I applaud you for keeping up with it.  I couldn't stay on the schedule and went off on my own.  But there is some good info to be had when you read it and follow it.

My Crown chakra definitely is very active.  It's like pulsating type vibrational energy all around it.  I'm very sensitive to energies around me and have been in contact once with a very high level being, but not while OBE it came to me one evening and it was so amazing! I'd love to relive it over and over through eternity, but that wouldn't be very productive would it? LOL

This other being I saw yesterday I'm wondering what you think of it.  I'll try to describe it the best I can.  It was in human form but had wings.  The wings were more like a bat, a skeletal structure with skin over it.  It seemed cold blooded and it really didn't have muscle tone the skin sort of sat on it.  Although it didn't look grotesque it was a bit scary to see. The color was that of white/grey.  It came up out of the ground in a crouched position, stood up and flew up into the sky. When it flew it did not flap it's wings.  I did not see it's face but I'm sure it had the same facial features we do. When I saw this it was like I was 10 feet taller then I really am and I was looking down on it.  It didn't notice me at all. When the vision stopped I was in such awe because I have never seen nor imagined anything like this before this really sparked my thoughts on what I was seeing because it was in my yard, I was wide awake and yet I could see 10 feet above me in a diagonal direction toward the ground. Could this guy be Astral Wildlife from a lower plane that I could see with real-time astral vision?  I have to admit it's seems strange to be able to focus so clearly here and not be oob.

I have a friend who I just found out is doing something similar, but I don't think it's quite the same thing. She is seeing through her eyelids.  (I'm seeing from my head.) One night she laid down on the couch to relax and she could still see the TV playing through them.

It's so interesting to play with this ability.  I'd love to hear if anyone else is experiencing this.  I have seen posts here of people seeing through their eyelids, but I don't feel it's exactly what I'm doing.

Thanks so much for your response-today I'm trying to focus on family members to see if I can see their aura.  No luck yet, All I'm seeing again are Tree Tops from my surrounding property.

There is nothing wrong with your eyes.  I've seen these since I was a small child.  The view of them seems to get stronger for me when I'm driving in the fog.  I've nicknamed these little guys "swimmies" I see them when ever I focus on them on any type of weather, but as I said the vision is stronger while driving the fog.  I'm not sure exactly what they are called.  Could very well be life force energy, but I lead more to an invisible energy of an undiscovered being that has learned to live on our plane.  I get the impression that they somehow keep the air clean, that they feed on pollution etc.  But then again I have no scientific background these are just my impressions.

On another note my husband when he was small used to tell his parents he was watching the wind when he saw these little guys.  hehe they told him you can't see the wind silly.  It's so funny what parents do to keep their children grounded so they forget where they came from.  I know unintentional but still silly.

First off Caco thank you so much for your response. I'm so excited to talk about this with someone.

Here is my meditation routine.  My goal is to get to high level of trance and try to keep my mind as clear I can. I start off with a prayer of protection to the higher source.  Then I basically do chakra clearing imagining gold light from the higher source is going into each chakra starting at the root chakra and working my way up. At the same time the gold light is pouring into my chakra I feel black negative goop coming out and going into the earth to be converted into positive energy.  When I'm done I just clear my mind into go into deep trance.  I try to hold it as long as possible, being a stay-at-home-mom I usually only have about 30 minutes a day if that to do this.  It usually ends up that I can only meditate 2-3 times a week this way.  Other times when I don't have time to meditate I just go straight to trance and hold it as long as I can.

When I meditate to clear chakra's I don't use pure visualization.  I never could, but I can literally feel the energy movement of the higher source energy going into me at the same time the negative black junk being released seem to be pouring out.

I'm a Reiki Level 2 and my main reason to learn Astral Travel was to help with my healing ability, my hope was to be able to pop-out quick and view aura's.  I have yet to be able to view a person while using this ability.  I have no control of what I see, I'd love to know how to control this so I can see what I want to see.

I hope I've come to the right place.  I have found that I have a new gift that I was not aware of before.  Let me explain what's happening.

I first notice a buzzing type vibration around my crown chakra for a few weeks.  What I discovered next was by accident.  One day while in the shower I went to dry my eyes after washing my face I realized that I could see around me in one direction or the other.  My first vision was of the tree's outside my home.  With more play and practice I realized that if I did not allow light to enter my eye sight I could laterally see around me.  I can not control which direction I see and I do not have to be in a meditative state or trance.  It starts out as a small white circle and quickly expands.  As this circle expands what I'm viewing becomes quite clear and it's not just a flat image, I see movement as well of what is around me in that particular area at that moment. When the circle is completely expanded it's as if I'm seeing with my physical eyes but the colors are not as bright, they are sort of grayish.  I mainly see above me and outside of the house.  But today while in the shower again I decided to try again.  This time it was as if I was standing two feet in front me but facing the opposite direction.  the image that came to view was that of the ceiling of my bathroom directly behind me.  I was so excited by this I tried again and was able to see outside my home our white out building.  At the time I saw white outbuilding I saw something (a being maybe) coming out of the ground and it flew away.  It didn't notice me thankfully, because I don't know what I would have done.

I'm wondering if this is some sort of Astral Sight that I've developed that I can now use at will?  I have been trying to Astral Project with small success and the problem being remembering what occured during my projections. I'd like to advance this new discovery as much as I can but would like a name for it so I can research it.

Another thing is I'm pretty sure what I'm seeing is in the now.  Not visions of the future or the past.
