This morning was very strange. Not only did I counciously project... every time one ended I easily projected again. 7 times?! It got to a point I thought I should stop because it was VERY strange. Like having two or three is more usual... But I was having hours worth of concious projections and its like.. lunch now Lol

Has this happened to anyone else?
Is projecting that much/that long safe?

Oh! I forgot, also last night I lit a reiki spell candle from a mind body spirit shop. The reason I bought it is just cause blue is my favorite color, its spell is for dreams. K. That's kinda freaky. Lol

A good selection of answers.
Have you considered it was a test?
You stated in your words that there's doubt. This is the second largest handicap, next to fear.
You were presented with a problem and it wouldn't go away.
Your physical mindset needs to be lessened quite a lot in the NP and you should develop a separate personality.
This experience has all the hallmarks of an attempt to show you a different way of thinking.
If you have thought of doing retrievals recently, it's this kind of lesson you'll experience to show you what requires attention.
The responses already given say a similar thing.
Its a good sign of development too.
Expect a similar experience, it'll be presented in a different manner.
I too have these lessons, one this morning on telekinetics.

I appreciate the time you took to reply, thanks!
Yeah, it could very well be a test, huh? The NP is intresting like that, and I do find most of my dreams, and even events that happen in 'waking-life' usually have some kind of moral. :)

There are two simple ways to get rid of them. The first is to stop the projection! Negs are now gone!

The second is to go to your "happy place". The Negs aren't allowed there!

There is a third thing that you can do and this is the one I like. Try to find out why they are there in the first place. Question them. Many times you will find it was indeed a test.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah that is a great idea to "question" them. I can see that working, I'll keep it in mind, thank you.

You'll quickly learn (or at least HOPEFULLY you'll quickly learn) that while non-physical there isn't a single event that could occur that putting a Loving Intent towards it won't solve it.
If your mind dart towards a 'fight' response all the time... then you're going to end up having a really bad time while projecting and you're going to begin to believe that there is nothing but demons and monsters waiting for you the second you project... and guess what that is going to do?

It's going to reaffirm and strengthen that belief within you that demons and monsters are real...  see the cycle appearing?

Thanks for the reply :)
-Yes this certainly makes sense. Someone once told me, "Where something is not love, love is lacking." Which now I understand means anything 'negative' is usually a result of a lacking of love, and when applying negative response to something as such only worsens the matter. Atleast this appears to be what you are saying?

This particular entity you have described does not sound like a negative one. It may have been a lost soul that was looking for help. It may be trapped somewhere because of their own issues whatever they may be and they emanate emotions of fear, pain etc, because that is their current state of mind. Not necessarily because they want to harm anyone. You have perceived what they were feeling and they were asking for help. Don't turn away spirits in need.
Now, if you really think that someone wants to harm you, offer help anyway, because most likely they are still carrying characteristics of a lower dimensional personalities and can use some guidance. If they don't accept the help, that is their problem, their time has not come yet to understand. But the law of energy is that negative energy from whatever source simply can not shift into a higher frequency area. If you have love and positive thoughts, you can easily shift away, or send thoughts of light. No fight necessary, this action alone will make them disappear. But at least give them a choice initially. Love your enemy and they will never be able to hurt you.

Ah yes :) Thank you. This is probably relative as well to my waking life, I've just started coming to grips with, "Love your enemy" I'm very thankful for your-well and all the other replies- on this matter. Has helped me to mature more as a person.

Much thanks ♥

I had a similar projection this morning and was also curious if anyone has had the same thing. I just asserted I wanted to be where I was needed and I found myself in some kind of meeting room, where people around my age were having conversation. They welcomed me as if I have been there before, and I found myself conversing with like-minded people as myself on all kinds of theories.  Funny... I tried to write my facebook for them but the letters kept morphing...

This morning I had an astral projection involving a neg; I would just like advice for handling these.. well.. whatever thry are.
When I first encountered the energy it filled me with an inense anxiety in my stomache area, which felt like a heavy, fluttery/unstable sickness. now I decided not to commit to this feeling and tried ignoring the person. Simply I walked away and tried to ignore its existence. It then was constantly whispering to me, "I need your help." Or other terms asking me to assist it telepathically. lastly I was feeling drained.

Ant suggestions to getting rid of these pesky individuals...?
Much appreciation :)

I think when you project you actually leave the physical realm in a different kind of energy body (spirit) to the astral, dream, or otherwise known after life plain.  I think this cause, when you die... Your body breaks down, so what happens to that, 'concious' part of you? Not your mind, but that part of you that expiriences what your body/mind perceives?  Let's just call it your "soul"  I don't think it just goes POOF. Lol, I think when we sleep the body needs to rest but our soul does not need to rest, so it leaves the body, and this is dreams, and also projections. Well that's what I think, I don't dismiss any other theories.  :)

Welcome to Astral Pulse. ^^

Listening to your post is like listening to myself,
I too have "accidently" astral projected from sleep paralysis as you have, for the exact same reason. It's common for people to feel a "negative" entity when in sleep paralysis, but mostly it's just fear from not being able to move the body, and actually these 'accidental" projections is what encourgaged me to start trying to do it conciously :) And I can promise you that sinse you have already projected, (councious or not) This may be easier for you, I know it was for me so it makes sense it would be for you aswell!

After doing some concious exits I started having "trouble" getting "out of my body" as well, I posted a question here pertaining it and so I'll just reword the advice that worked for me, and I don't see why it wouldn't do the trick for you, so here it is:

"Can't is a self-handicapping term that may be restraining you from success, what one believes to be true is what becomes their reality, more so in the astral that is very thought intuative. Rather,  know that sinse you have projected before, know you CAN do it, and your lucky it should come easier for you. Think of it less as a projection, and more of a natural accourance, the trick to projecting is to NOT feel your body, when your laying down and meditating, try to ignore the vibrations, numbness or sensations, and focus on what you want to do after you exit, or anything else you would like to think about, being sure to ingnore your body because that may be what is making it difficult, and let projection come naturally."

I too has insomia, the medication I was takin was supose to surpressed the "REM" state, but I still was able to have out of body expiriences. belive it or not, after I took up regluar meditation, healthy eating, etc, I was able to cure my insonia -nudge nudge wink wink-

I feel you can still project,  because any physical ailments are effectless against your astral body (insomia, ADD etc, btw I'm ADHD Lol), because that is what they are, simply physical, not spiritual.

I have successfully projected laying in bed and meditiating, but it's very time consuming and frankly I'm impatience Lol. SO, sinse you too are able to become lucid in dreams, when you become luic from within your dreams, try this little trick that nearly never fails:

Onne in your dream you realize "Oh hey, I'm dreaming! I must be asleep. AWESOME. Dude, I can totes like project, right now. K let's do this" Imagine rolling out of your body, allowing your dreamscape to remain, as you do this it should simply turn black. You should feel yourself tumble off the bed, feel the floor under your feet, and YES, everything WILL BE BLACK, usually I have to walk alittle away from my body before I can open my eyes, so walk alittle away from your body in darkness, (usually I walk when projecting, but floating is fine too) after you left the room (in darkness) open your eyes. TADA. You're projecting, don't worry about returning cause you should snap back into your body, so go explore!

-Note: If you are paranoid about projecting, sleep with a talsman under your pillow-

Any other questions, feel free to ask :)
Good Luck.

K, lately, I just. I hate walls. I hate them. Always getting in my way all up in the astral. (It's a joke :) I am only moderately irritated by their constant blocking of my path)

So my question is, how do YOU pass through things?

For me, what worked SHORTLY, was pressing HARD on windows/walls, and evenutally, if I pressed hard enough, I'd pass through it, (like snapping a cracker in half) but after awhile, it started to take WAAAAY too much energy passing through things (like now the wall in a very "stiff" cracker. lo) now, I hardly bother trying' cause it's so draining. So if anyone has alternative methods, I'd be grateful. :)

It's not like I'm trapped in my house or anything, cause I can still  open doors, but none the less I'd get to new places more effiently if I didn't need a door to get there Lol. Not like some mystical force is putting doors for me to walk through cause of my wall-difficiency :P

I've noticed visualizing movies, tv shows, and interactions I've had through the day as I relax and lay down to sleep, but, it seems to be the deeper I get the more bizzare the visualizing becomes Lol. Like trees doing acrobatics and snow falling in reverse.

That's a pretty intelligent theory, about how before projection we create a separate version of ourselves, I never had that thought, so that's very interesting, and it makes sense. My theory is all planes coexist, the physical, astral, or whatever you prefer to call them, etc, because we seem to exist in all of them at the same time. When we are sleep, and physically in the physical reality, we are also in a very real non-physical dream realm, or astral if you prefer. Have you noticed throughout the day, if you have a vivid imagination, you can literally "see" or visualize things in your mind's eye? If you think about the way someone smiled at you.. You can see/visualize  it, right? That isn't physical, but very much as vivid and tangible. So I think we are existing in a non-physical and physical on all panes of existence all at the same time,  the body is physical, the conscious, soul, or as you prefer it to be called,  is not of the physical realm but existing with the physical body for this earthly experience. To tie it up, I agree when we astral projection we are in a sense, "separate" but also, existing at once elsewhere. What do you think?

This morning I had a bizarre projection, when I was still "blind" I could feel a hand. My vision was totally black but I felt fingers running over my own, lightly press their tips to the tips of my own fingers, then delicately to my cheeks in darkness. When I opened my eyes I clearly was able to make out a translucent hand, though, to whom it was attached was out of my preferable vision.

I was fascinated, then slightly worried it had any negative intention, I decided not to invest in that worry and touched it, soon entwining my fingers with it's own. I began walking through the bizarre green-field I was in hand in hand, and just from the left corner of my vision I realized.. We both had matching sleeves, our arms looked the same, our hands.. It was like walking beside a mirror. I couldn't help feeling, this person was me... Or.. another me?

I`m not sure if this is.. Some kind of metaphorical deal, or my higher self.. But I`m curious if anyone else has met themselves' in the astral, and what they make of it. c:

I'm not sure if it's blocked chakras, or because I moved to a new house, maybe I had so many out of body experiences my spirit is like "Uh. No, I think I'll stay in my fleshy house, I'm lazy and out of energy." Wow. Me and my soul have a lot in common ..

ANYWAY.

But everytime I try to leave my body I experience an intense pull that keeps me stuck to my body. Or, if I manage to sit halfway out I'm pulled back in, and by then so drained of energy I lay there until I wake up. It's like I'm bound with elastic bands or I'm fighting a super vacuum. Strange because I never had issues existing before...

Can people just stop being able to astral project, or is this usual?
Anyone experience something similar or have any idea what can help me to exit?

:) Ty.

I am compelled to share with this community and interesting video I just now encountered on "YouTube" Titled "A Trip to the Afterlife" by "offTheLeftEye"

Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWXOhLlWLNY

The reason I think this video will intrest you, is because

1) it deals with Emanuel Swedenborg's encounters of the spiritual plane described by "offTheLeftEye"
2) communication with angels, demons, etc
3) What the astral/spiritual is like
4) I believe it's packed with interesting information on the astral plane
5) spiritual creatures
6) afterlife entirely
7) It answered a few questions for me like:

"Time" & "space" in the astral
"Angels" and "demons"
"Heaven&Hell"

'Physical form"
"Spiritual form"

"offTheLeftEye"

-if you are unfamiliar with this Youtuber, he creates a variety of videos (In my opinion) having to deal with enlightenment, religion, afterlife, and life on the physical. He also does public lectures.

This lecture is mostly based on finds by "Emanuel Swedenborg".

-If you are unfamiliar with Emanuel Swedenborg, he "was a Swedish scientist, philosopher, theologian, revelator, and, in the eyes of some, Christian mystic" ( Thank you wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emanuel_Swedenborg)
The beginning of the video will pretty much describe the rest, I strongly encourage you to check it out to find out if it interests or applies to you; :) Enjoy.

(I also invite anyone else to share videos/information similar to the topic at hand)

I haven't seen anyone post this method to astral project, it works for me & I learned it quickly so here:

What you need to know about this method to start is,
1) This method consisists of actually falling asleep,
2 becoming aware you are dreaming,
3)  and from that state maintaining body asleep pulling back awareness to exit the body.

This method is effective because when you fall asleep you are in the state to obe. It is tricky falling asleep with concious (adviced by most methods) oposed to falling asleep then pulling back concious

How to preform:
1) through the day ask yourself, "Am I dreaming?" And really considder if you are, so when you are dreaming, you can realize it.
2) as you ready for sleep, lay on your back. Three times repeat, "I will obe and remember" when you start falling asleep (you will start seeing movie like daydreams) keep asking yourself, "Am I dreaming?"
3) allow yourself to fall asleep and lose concious. Make your primary goal asking yourself if you are dreaming.

4) finally, after practice you will know when you are dreaming, from there your body is in the perfect condition for an exit. Be careful not to wake up, as you "bring yourself" back to awareness, allow your dreamscape to remain.
your vision should blackin on its own as you "feel" yourself laying,  try your exit methods until you are out, (I suggest "feeling" yourself sit up/roll out of your body) it will feel like fighting a vacum effect, like the body is sucking you back. After you get far enough from the body you can open your eyes. Grats :) you did it. Your body will auto-matically suck you back usually within 2-5 minutes so enjoy yourself&don't stress about getting back~Happy trails

Hey!

I want to suggest an alternative method as opposed to: "Go to sleep late, (midnight or later), wake up early, (7am or earlier), go eat breakfast, use the bathroom, whatever you have to do.. THEN go lay down."

That method works for some people, but everyone is different, so here's my alternative suggestion for those, such as myself, who this method isn't ideal for.

I have managed 3 projections, (I'm new, don't hate, appreciate), and I find WHEN you try to project most defiantly has an impact on your success rate (as found by personal experience). Here is what is successful for me, and if you are also a beginner, this method to begin with may work for you too. :)

MY SUGGESTED METHOD:
((On the weekend when you don't have school/work, this method will eat up your afternoon.))

1) Go to sleep late, around midnight or later, at least late enough you can sleep in past lunch. (The idea is to rather then be LACKING sleep, as suggested in the other method, is to have, TOO MUCH sleep, which will make you physically and mentally drained enough that it is easier to relax and daydream, needed to induce OBE) *MAKE SURE TO FALL ASLEEP ON YOUR BACK* (if you're lucky, you'll wake up in sleep paralysis.

2)For me I usually sleep in past lunch, I'm so tired and exhausted from so much sleep all I have to do is close my eyes and drift back into a "sleep-like" state. So sleep in as late as you can, if you happen to wake up before lunch, just go right back to sleep. Continue to sleep until you wake up feeling totally drained.

3)After waking up, only get out of bed if you MUST (To use the bathroom), otherwise, right after awakening, without moving, stretching, or anything, close your eyes. This is because if you start moving, it will wake up your body, so hey, if you're TRYING to put your body to sleep, and it already is, why ruin it?

4)After awakening and closing your eyes, begin your preferred practice of inducing AP. For me what works in simply letting my mind wonder, I don't even think about AP, I start having weird wacky hallucination/visuals ((Example: I had one about dinosaurs holding hands and dancing.. They're fun.)) and I just watch them until I feel totally disconnected. Then, I simply Sit up, or roll out, of my body, and walk out of the room before opening my astral eyes.

~Good Luck~
