Update: It happened again today, except this time it was at around 3:00 p.m. and rather than a loud ringing sound, it felt like the top part of my body was sinking, contrary to the position i was in which my body was propped up by a pillow. Once it started i soon found myself in a room. Not sure about the realness of it but once i tried to do stuff it felt more and more like an average until it stopped and i found my self in the presence of my room again.

So, it's around 6:00 pm and I'm tired so I begin to take a nap. But I notice a deep sensation of seemingly indication that I'm going to fall asleep. I start to embrace these feelings as I have experienced them before but soon after the sleepy trance feeling becomes deeper. I'm initially startled and think this is a good ap or dreaming opportunity and continue to embrace the trance. Now I start feeling intense oscillating in my ears. And I seem to flicker between my room to my house (I'm attending college). Once in my house I try to move and it instantly puts me back to my origin. Once that happened I figured the trance feeling was broken and here I am typing this. Was this indicative of dreaming, astral projection, or something else? Also what can I do better next time for efficiency and longevity?

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Music
August 03, 2017, 21:39:46
So when I listen to music, it usually gets stuck in my head. And so when I try to sleep or try astral projection such as phasing, music is in the background of my head. Is this ok or is it detrimental to my chances of having an obe?

Over the past week, I've decided to give meditating a shot in hopes that it will help me focus when I astral project. And it has actually worked, when I try and astral project, I'm able to get into a state of stillness and focus. However my problem is that I always feel awake don't know where to take it after that. Any suggestions?

So yesterday I went to bed really early and I ended up waking up at 2:00 am. So thinking this was a good opportunity to do some AP type of stuff, I just started practicing visualizing and just imagining things in general.

So awhile has past and suddenly something feels really different. Its hard to explain but it felt kind of like my whole body started buzzing and my consciousness got fixed into this state and there is a little bit of paralysis mixed in that made me think that an AP process was starting.

Now this happens to me once in a while but every time it happens I usually get psyched out and try to break free from the weak paralysis. But this time although I was excited I was determined not to stop and see this through. So at this point I wasn't really sure what to do so I just decided to kind of keep visualizing things and ill admit I was was trying to do it maybe to intensely but the sensation I felt ended up slowly fading. I wasn't sure what had happened and I how close I was to an AP. I would like to have some feed back on how I could improve this next time it happens.

Welcome to Dreams! / Random Lucid Dreams
July 03, 2016, 20:26:33
For the past two days straight I have had lucid dreams. Now from what I know, I haven't changed anything in my life style or even tried to have lucid dreams. What could be the cause of this phenomenon?  :?

I'm just curios over this thought but would it be possible to trick myself into a AP by sort of mentally feeling as though I am feeling symptoms that normally lead to astral projections (if that makes sense), for example some people recall that they feel as though they are floating and so I could try feeling as though I was floating thus this would make it easier to get into an AP   :? :? :? :?

Well typically i think one starts in a sitting position. After that they quiet their thoughts to a minimum and that creates a meditation affect.
Not really sure but that's my two sentence description of meditation  :?

To what extent is meditating helpful to astral projection?
#21
So last night I had my first lucid dream and I was wondering what methods are out their to go from lucid to astral  :? :?

Other than attempting to astral project, what kind of daily routine should I have to help achieve success.

so when i'm trying to get into an astral state when lying down, I end up putting my gaze upon my breathing, when that happens I cant get my mind off of it and I then feel my mucus down my throat. Any suggestions as how to fix this problem? :?

So I've been trying to AP with different methods for awhile and have had no success. But last night, I decided to try and just watch myself fall asleep and I got strong vibrations and pressure that went from my head to my tongue. I also noticed that through this experience I was still pretty conscious during the process but maybe not when it started.
