How do you think the astral plane and physical plane are interconnected?

Is it like stacks of paper? Oil and Water? Like milk mixed into coffee? Or possibly does Monroe's metaphor of electrical phase differential work best for you? It is where we adopted term from.

Hey All,

I had the quickest WILD I have ever had last night after about 2 minutes of laying down.  :-o

Here's what happened:
I am proficient at piano, and was laying some tunes over in my head, doing the theory and whatnot, When I start thinking about leading tones, The vibrations kicked in and settled immediately. I didn't think much of them, but the the pull was very strong. Like it most often does, it interrupts your thought process and you have to make a mental decision about what to think of next.

The process has always reminded me of magnetism, as in it feels that way. It feels like you are getting pulled. If you think about your physical surroundings, then it like you reverse the polarity and get pushed back down into your body. The only real solution is to have that willingness to alleviate yourself of your past perspective, whatever it is, for me, it was leading tones., and then keep that polarity focused straight upwards. At that point, keep your mind pure and hang on. This phase occurred in just that way. In fact, it wasn't till this morning until I remember what the trigger was that made me phase. I had completely forgotten about leading tones. It was my friend, only after a few questions did it hit me. So when I say willingness to alleviate, I really mean willingness to completely forget and lose yourself in the phase process.

To the newcomers:
When this occurs, you can't think about projection, you can't think about techniques, you just have to go with the flow. You don't know when its going to happen, but if you train diligently, when all the conditions are 'right' you be able to cash in on those opportunities. I know that has to sound frustrating but nothing good comes easy.

As for the experience, it wasn't the crispest thing in the world. I was in my house per usual F21 experience and there were boxes and all sorts of mess & junk piled everywhere. I nimbly "float-bounced" on top of the scatter, kicking some of it around(that surprised me, never did that before). Very dramatic lighting that wasn't all that bright, nor any music. One of the more complacent projections. In fact, after a few minutes, I got fed up and bounced out to my back porch where I tried to convince myself that I wasn't in reality and I was being stupid for thinking I was actually in a projection, where, of course, then I got booted out.

I hope this helps in some way shape or form to those who have WILD as their goal.

Hey everybody! I have recently been messing around with a fairly new rendition to an age old technique. Naturally, I'd like to share.

If you have read any of my past posts, then you know I have always been a big supporter of metaphysical visualizations to get you by the tough part in the phasing process. Here's a trick that I have been using for the past couple months that has given me uncanny success.  :-)

So...its relatively simple...All you gotta do is empathize with yourself...a lot... :-P

Method
Once in a deep meditative mental state(preferably F12)

1. Start By visualizing yourself doing so semi-intense activity. I usually use pick juggling a soccer ball or hacky sack.

2. Once you have that visualization pretty stable. Visualize "you" standing next to the previous you juggling hacky sack. Again, Take your time to let the whole visualization sink in and stabilize.

3. Now visualize another you into the setting, father away, watching the previous two yous. They don't see you. I usually pick behind a tree or in tall grass or something to that effect. Wait & Stabilize.

4. Now visualize another you...You get the point. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. I usually get to the point of being in a helicopter watching a whole gang of 'mes' down below.

Once I have sufficient amounts of 'mes' in the setting, I usually totally forget that I am even laying on my couch visualizing.
This is the most effective and consistent metaphysical imagery I have used to date.

Reiterations of Some Timeless Notes
Remember:

- Once your brain starts feeding you weird stuff(things that aren't supposed to be there), Good. Let it happen. Embrace that randomness. That is the telltale sign that you are doing things right. Incorporate the concept into the visualization. Keep going.

- Don't move your eyes when attempting to get into the deep F10/F12 state that is a prerequisite to all successful phase attempts. This tip isn't said enough. Don't move any part of your body either, but you should already know that.

- Snapping back to your slumbery physical closed eyes perspective of reality is normal. Don't let it deter nor discourage you. It usually happens multiple times to me as I keep going deeper. Just be persistent and bounce right back into where you left off with your visualization. With each bounce you should feel drowsier.

Enjoy!  :-D

Best on all your travels,

The deal is when you are trying to drift off into F10 or F12,

On only the beat of your exhales,

count 1 through 10 in this fashion,

1 2 3 4..8 9 10 9 8...4 3 2 3 4...8 9 10 9 8...etc.

Not mine, just resonating it from deep within the records here. Quite Smashing.

Projection came up in conversation the other day and I was asked a question, that, I hate to say, I was rather stumped to come up with a good answer.

Do you have eyes in the astral?

Could these 'eyes' be linked to REM sleep? Could you control these if you wanted? How does peripheral REALLY work?

What do you guys think?

If you can understand why this works, then you understand why visualization works and why the 'experience of attempting to phase' is composed of so many 'fleeting images'.

I don't know :-D, but he gives us a good description on how projection could be approached as a discipline.

Coming back after seven months in Indian villages, I saw the craziness of the Western World as well as its capacity for rational thought. If you just sit and observe, you will see how restless your mind is. If you try to calm it, it only makes it worse,  but over time it does calm , and when it does, there is room to hear more subtle things --that's when your intuitions starts to blossom and you start to see things more clearly and be in the present more. Your mind just slows down and you see a tremendous expanse in the moment You see so much more than you can see before. It's a discipline and you have to practice it.

Little talked about is Monroe's F11. I didn't even know about this for quite a long time.

If you know what F10 and F12 are then you probably have a pretty good idea of what F11 is like.

He called this the "autosuggestion" state. Which we can link do our good friend Dale Carnegie "Think and grow Rich."

Pretty much a state where you can subconsciously actively control you ideals and what you are striving for on a daily basis. Think, "Oh! this is what shrinks are doing when they lay down that patient on a couch." Useless in projection, but very useful here in the physical.

Anyway, I have really bad allergies and was dreading this season. After too days of suffering hardcore. When doing my nightly routine, I decided to stop in at this state and give it a whirl. Ya know, talking to my body in there. I gave it an ol', "Hey histamine receptors, please knock it off, because what you are doing is really stupid. Pollen is harmless. Stop being silly"

And low and behold, my allergies have gotten better! Now the pollen count of whatever specific plat was bothering me could have gone down, so I am not screaming snake oil here, but I check the overall pollen count and it went up. This is the first allergy season that is like this. So, if you are suffering from allergies, it might be worth a go. Nothing to lose. I mean, you are going to F12 anyway, why not stop at F11.  :-)

Keep those pollen at bay.

Ok, just had another projection and wanted to getting it down. I awoke about 30 seconds ago.

Drowsy exit, floated up and out of my body. Looking down on my body. I had this thick, anime-like hair, but rather then up and spiky, it was all matted and down and covered the majority of my face. Kinda of scary movie creepy. I was not in the exact location of the room I projected in, but rather a built in wall bed that has no bed in it right now. It needs to be fixed by a carpenter.

So I floated up. bounded around the room. Looking around. Things wer noticable different. NO surprise. I ran into the other room, my normal room which is on the porch of my house. Things were very ,much rearranged. Outside was all white fog. My bed was in the corner instead, ooking around it I started to lose the projection so I rubbed my astral hands together and everything came into view. I looked around outside through the windows. Bounded back to the center of the room.

Then I made a decision to go outside instead of explore my house, I have done that so many times already. I opened the window and did a kind of somersault roll out of the third story building landing softly on the sidewalk. There was this dismal, but not terrible bad, more snowscape music playing. That should be noted. SO I "dashbounded" down the sidewalk in order to see the rest of the town/ There were a handful of entities walking around the streets. All of them definitely staring at me.

As I bounded pas a moth and two daughters, probably around the ages of 7+9, they kinda hugged their mom and said "Mommy I don't like them here"  The mom replied, "It's Ok, but there have been more and more of them lately."

M perogative, was I wanted answers I did a sort of doubletake to ask this small family a question or two, but seeing them clutch their mother, what they just said hit me, but really didn't sink in. It still hasn't, it will probably happen later, this all happened about 5 minutes ago. I saw another entity across the street leaving her house, ( Again this looked very very similar to the downtown town I do live in. There were no noticeable changes in layout. As I bounded over to her I got booted out.

The entire experience was probably about 1-2 minutes long. It was a drowsy exit.

I am going to go back and have another.

Had a quick projection yesterday and thought I would share the phase as it was a good example of one.

So I was going for a drowsy phase attempt. Got a strong F10. Kept trying to have a stgon F12 exit, but it wasn't happening, so I opted for just a nap. Per usual, went into a dream state.
During this dream, I watched someone eating a bowl of cereal, but with their head completly submerged in this BIG bowl.

I said to myself, "Wait, that isn't right, what is this I am experiencing," and bingo started to feel the phase. As the phase subsided, things were very murky, so I used the rubbing the hands together technique to bring things into focus. All this time was very excited. I started to float up per usual, but gave it too much umpf and went too fast too soon, and booted myself out of it.

I awoke quite frustrated.

So that example of how you say "Wait, what is this?" is a really good example of how this stuff usually happens. In addition, patience is key to let the projection get mature before you start throwing strong intent around.

Ok, so to start, here is a definition of F27:
Focus 27 - The Reception Center. An artificial area created by human minds, designed to ease the trauma and shock of the transition out of physical reality. It takes on the form of various earth environments in order to be acceptable to the wide variety of newcomers. Contact and communication is open between all inhabitants. Many people living in Focus 27 provide assistance to new arrivals to help them adjust to their new situation. This is a highly organized and structured area.

THE EXPERIENCE
This happened to me about a week ago. Nap projection. Definitely a sloppy drowsy exit, It was a nice semi-lucid experience.

I started in a unique room, quite large, but relatively narrow. There were chain link pens, like cages, lined up all along one side, making the room. The first scene was 'new' ones getting sorted into clans.
Every was very happy and excited. PUL flippin' everywhere. They went through what I remember as a batch or "people/entities." I have a vague understanding besides the other entities where new their just like me.

Got sorted into a clan. It was very apparent that this was a lower class almost slave/indentured servant role. Almost like "pledge" in a fraternity or something. So, everyone was cheering, we were in pens, but it was all cool, PUL everywhere, didn't really matter, they were making the experience fun for us.

It continued with me being shown around this immense city. Extraordinarily vivid and extremely intricate. Many entities roaming around the streets, which were very Simcity 3000ish, hyperfuturistic. I wish I could elaborate on the building and structures, but it would get incredibly wordy. You understand. It was grand.

The person showing me around, kind of a master role, left me at this one spot for a couple hours. It told me to stay. I did as I was told, for a couple hours, of this corner where a giant elevator(large cargo type on a 45 degree angle) moved people up and down that particular junction. No roads, everyone walked, or somethin. Just large allies. I watched and just enjoyed the experience.

When the 'master' or whatever the role model was, returned we flew up to look over the world. It was breathtaking. I still have the image in my head. As we ascended, the city I was just in, which had a very distinct style, was melded to another cities' walls, along the perimtera. The cities were all tightly connected, but retained their individual 'style'. I was able to count 13-14 unique city styles, that looked like different colored and styled garden mazes from so high up. There were definitely 60+ as that is all my peripheral could handle.

We are talking billions, I mean billions upon billions of entities. I could kinda sense them all too. What I was able to perceive was something my brain could not even smoothly produce upon recall. It was almost beyond imagination. It still boggles me now.

So I wanted to go down, we descended into this yellower color territory. It had the make of a sand/clay based city. Think Sumerians meet Egyptians. Where we landed seemed to be a forum/gambling arena or something. It was PACKED. We are talking the fire chief here would be very unhappy. Thousands of entities bustled in this square. Everyone was playing some sort of game, that I was not allowed to partake in. We walked around. I watched a lot of entities playing. Not all had human forms here, but it was cool. Everyone had PUL.

Next I was brought to a house. It had a pool like river running through it. it was just really cool. Emerald and Deep Blue colored smooth glass was the swatch of the environment. Plants everywhere, nice and ambient light. Very pleasant. We talked for a bit. I forgot about what, but the clan hierarchy message was clear, I was here at this house b/c the clan/tribe. I was supposed to be helping out or something. They were saying something when thing became faint. And I came out of it.

Soon after this the experience ended.

I have been to my fair share of BSTs. I knew this was not just a normal BST when I awoke. It was far far to intricate. Too much architecture, too many 'people'. I am a creative individual and it was well beyond anything I could have conjured in my wildest dreams (well...)

I conclude this may have been my first experience to a F27 state. I have never been somewhere so highly structured and ordered. It was truly awesome.

Have any of you been to a similar location? I mean we are talking tens of billions if not more of entity/soul/persons, whatever you want to call them. This 'place' has to be relatively popular.

Hey all!

If you ever got caught in that forsaken transitional state between F10(mind awake, body asleep) and a full fledged F12(vast blackness) because of not being able to 'defocus' on your breathing, this article is for you. A lot of attention is paid on getting to F12, but not how to get through it. This is a clear-cut strategy to implement when you fail to perform a guru full-fledged conscious exit, which every beginner thinks they are completely capable of doing and fall back into that limbo dead-end deep consciousness state.

I call it:
  THE IRON CURTAIN TECHNIQUE

So we all know the lead blanket feeling that settles on our body at this point in the game. The Japanese call a very strong version of this, Kanishibari, meaning wrapped in chains. The onset of this sensation is usually where the threat of remembering that you are not breathing could hinder your phase attempt. If such a misfortune occurs, continuous attempts to consciously shut off you breathing and successfully phase are usually futile. This is where internal self-discipline and mastery come into play. We haven't spent 40 forty fortnights up in a mountain monastery training our inner consciousness, so we need a strategy.

Here's our gameplan:

We are going to do something that seems very counter-intuitive.

We are going forget about our goal of disconnecting and hyper focus on our breathing. We will slow it way down, until we feel the "lead blanket" sensation push us downward, eventually, into a 'falling' sensation.

We are going to play a game to do this.

THE GAME

Objective: Get to a F15 state (that falling sensation, akin to the oe you get when coming out of a falling dream) from our current flopped F12.

1. Accept that you are breathing, and understand that you need a strategy shift. Yeah, not a flawless exit. But, hey, now we get to play that game that we read about on Astral Pulse. Hooray.

2. Now that you are breathing. Focus on your breathing and begin attempt to slow it down as much as possible.

3. With each breath keep slowing it down.

4. Slower more.

5. As you are at this point, you will feel the 'lead blanket'. It will be a sensation as if a heavy blanket were on your chest. As you feel this, let it play a crucial role help you slow your breathing down.

6. You should be at the point where one inhalation and exhalation cycle feels like a minute has passed, if not, more. This should be around the 10th breath or so. Wow I know. That's some slow breathing, and you got there only after 10 breathes.

7. The blanket will be very very heavy. As you maintain the slow breathing, search out for the falling sensation. It is there. Keep searching. It is finicky to latch onto, but you can do it. You will see what I mean when you are in that state.

8. With any luck, you'll hold onto it and start to enter a F15. Mission accomplished.

As you all know a conscious phase attempt we are slowly disconnecting from each one of our 5 senses while maintaining conscious awareness. This will be the final shutting off of your sense from the outside. At this point the game changes to falling deeper and deeper into yourself and into the phasing process. When you least expect it, you will find yourself at the next milestone: F18. But that's for another day.

I wish you all well on your travels.

Good Evening All,

I have been completing an extensive amount of research on 2012, and the wave patterns that constitute the natural patterns of life. When I stumbled upon, this post from 2006, my jaw nearly hit the floor. It is phenomenal  must read. A nice eloquent, accurate introduction continued by a brief argument between two knowledgeable sources. As an Astral Projection Forum, I hope you all enjoy how the theories incorporate tenets we hold to be true, such as intent.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / F23 and Beyond
January 07, 2012, 16:37:52
Now we talk a lot about getting up to speed and reaching happy F22 state here. Rarely do we discuss beyond that. Lately, I have been having a tremendous amount of success of what I know think to be some of the higher levels of the Astral. The interesting thing is that I have been doing so through what I call the dream path.

Reference: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/conceptual_framework_of_the_astral-t36002.0.html

I have been sick this week and taken what can only be called a ridiculous number of naps. Each one has brought me to someplace remarkable, yes, more than just my F21-22 dream state. Why? How do I know? There has been consistency in the realm. The whole experience has an uncannily stable construct. The best evidence, somewhere undefined the dream changed and I felt the same hallmark "softness" that existed in my other projections. My control is not as strong when projecting using the other techniques. But I am definitely somewhere much deeper.

Now the whole concept of dream gone lucid gone projection is pretty cool. For me, I like it b/c its way less time and energy consuming. :-) Now that I feel I have passed that F22 barrier to some degree, I am curious if anyone experienced can lend advice or techniques on how to go even deeper. If you have advice (more than just intent is king, plz) on navigating these back roads of the astral or even want to lend some knowledge bombs on the way to the Akashic records :-P Let's discuss! This is cool stuff!

Thank you in advanced,

Contenteo

Happy New Year Everyone!

As this is the year I discovered projection (And WHAT a discovery :-P)I wanted to celebrate its conclusion by releasing a framework I made back in late spring.

http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/h438/Robert_Carbone/Contenteos2011ConceptualFramework.jpg

I hope it helps many understand a clear logic path in what they are attempting.
I hope it assists newcomers.
and I hope it helps you all become more confident in understanding this reality we live within.

Of course, I challenge you make amendments, but please, if its going to be a thousand words. Make a picture.

Also, when posting replies, I plead that you take a step back and analyze your own mental model before discussion semantics. Words are simply placeholders. It's not their fault, languages and lexicon need to have a natural bias to a topic to exist. Without context, language is just shapes. I have seen to many a good discussion in this forum go to the wayside because of fundamental semantics disagreement that could be solved with empathy. Resolve to look beyond language, that is the only way to see the truth. Best to you all in 2012.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Intent

The Astral is a place where only the wise can be truly fearless.

Ok, so the majority of my life I have felt pyramids and other crystal shapes used for the assistance of focusing(energy, chi, whatnot) were pretty much complete crap. However, a strange phenomenon occurred the other night.

I was sitting in my chair, working on a business systems model late at night when I looked up, resting my head back against the chair and just decided to drift a little back into my consciousness(you know, the first stages of intimating phasing when you focus in on your mind eye). Ironically from this point of view I was staring straight into a playing marble that was resting in the corner of my windowsill. I put it their earlier cleaning out a box. This marble was catching the light of the solitary lamp in the room, casting that classic focused bead of light onto the white paint behind it. As I stared at this marble, so out of place, I found it was peculiarly easy to drift into a different focus states, BUT WAIT, MY EYES ARE STILL OPEN. I couldn't believe I was actually doing my regular phasing routine, and progressing into a near F12 state with my eyes actually open, asphyxiated on the tiny clear marble on my windowsill.

I snapped myself out of it as the F12 state started its usual intensity. Thinking back to all this mumbo jumbo I heard about focusing stones and the pyramids , I made a quick hypothesis on what the hell was going on and started attempting phasing by staring at other objects in the room. The bookshelf, nothing. The lamp, no avail. But when I looked back at the marble, it was very easy to fall right back into that hypnotic-esque state. I was floored.

Now, honestly, I don't want to believe that there is truth to the whole pyramids/focusing stones theme that so consumes those new age/paranormal stores littering the world. Rejecting those stereotypical objects of the eccentric was a line in the dirt I set for myself long ago. I take careful steps nowadays to not by pigeonholed as a "crazy" when explain what projection is and its tough as is without having crystals around my room.  However achieving that state with my eyes open was enough for me to start investigating. So gang, what do you think about this of physical "focusing trait" objects possess actually having an effect on an intangible realm we dub the "astral"?

#20
Over the past weeks I have been refining more models(which I will share relatively soon) and speaking with many people with various background on the subject.

I have concluded that the astral is most likely not a higher realm, but a "lower" more fundamental realm that consciousness has evolved from. The act of sleeping, in which the brain is rather active, appears to me more and more simply a check and balance from our former evolutionary state. My concept of visualizing is just one of many various ways of disconnecting the self from this physical plane in a "waking" state. Honestly, any form of mental disconnectedness has a similar effect. Think about the ambient feeling you get after watching television, getting out of a movie, or engrossed in a word or number puzzle. These are all first steps in disconnecting oneself. This concept also lends credence to the myriad of techniques that many groups of people have.

Hi all!

So, I have been extremely successful at reaching a myriad of astral experiences of the past weeks, but my OBEs share a similar theme that I would like some feedback on.

As I have reached a multitude of astral/OBE states, I an undeniably having an OBE. Between the POV, feeling, softness, details match the RTZ, I am there. All my OBEs, though (just OBEs, not projections) are me kinda stuck in my body trying to get out. I say kinda because I keep trying to "climb out"/"float out" (you know what i mean) but I feel like I am caught in glue/magnet that keep pulling me back into my reclined body. It is me laying there, trying to do like a sit-up of sorts, but there is not enough energy/whatever to pull myself from my laying body. I can't say it is painful, but it is frustrating and uncomfortable. I usually get so frustrated, I use the finger technique to snap myself out of it.

Has anyone had this experience and also had a realization how to overcome this stage?

I want to enjoy all the OBEs I end up experiencing, and I need a strategy next time this happens.

On an slightly unrelated note, I am hearing disembodied voices speaking to me behind me. Yeah, they are pretty scary and definitely freak me out as they say some pretty f&*ked up stuff, but I have an astral IQ high enough to discount them and focus on what I am trying to accomplish.

Cheers all,
Contenteo

Anyone who has been following my posts can undeniably vouch for my support of metaphysical imagery (aka visualization) being a key pattern in phasing.

As I was making my bed this morning, I had a small but notable realization. Last night, I got to bed by reading a book. It just put me in the right state to go to sleep. In fact, if you look at culture, you will see a load of examples of this; children getting stories read to them before sleep; people reading books before passing out at the beach or before bedtime, people passing out when watching television. Through this inductive reasoning, metaphysical imagery appears to lead assist the body in reaching a state of disconnectedness. Through our deductive reasoning of trials, this hypothesis is supported.

This seems to be more of a comment I wanted to make than a question appealing for answers, but I felt that this pattern is undeniably statistically significant, without even crushing the numbers.

To connect this point to many novice readers out there. This is essentially why the rope technique and other similar claims may be effective. Any form of visualization to passively draw you away from the physical should have the same technique.

Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend.

Cheers,

I honestly thought everyone did the same thing, until I was talking to my friend. And he said he just lays on his back, clears his mind and waits.

I on the other hand, when I want sleep, turn on my side and start visualization about beautiful environments, etc. I don't even notice when I go out.

So what's your way of passin' out(not projecting)? Think about those times when you gotta pass out quick and you can't afford to lose sleep waitin'. What's your strategy?

I had my first F21 today, it was awesome. Everything is so beautiful and soft there. :-D

Couple things that happened:

Wolf Incident
I was running around and thought I heard a stepping to the right of me. I immediately thought of some creature chasing me. Sure enough, when I got far away enough, I turned around a huge pitch black wolf sauntered out of the path I left behind me. I was like, aww, $hit. It dashed a semicircle towards me. I immediately assumed a non-chalet persona, going, "eh" whatever. The wolf did a corny PowerPoint 2-d rotation. and turned into a cow. I laughed my butt off. Feelin really good. Emotions are easier to control in the astral than in the physical.

Sword Incident

I remembered Frank talking about slaying beasts in the astral. I really wanted to give that a go. I tried to manifest a sword but failed. This ticked me off. Any advice in manifesting things like that in F21?

Ceiling incident
Right after the sword failure tinkling me off, I decided to go outside, but the door snapped into a wall and the ceiling started to lower, like Indianan Jones style. At first I was scared, but a nonchalant demeanor saved me again.

Beautiful
Everything was so well thought out and beautiful in the astral. It is spectacular. I was filled with joy the entire time. I saw my parents in the dream and they were wearing the coolest clothes. My mom was in this gorgeous white kimono with fire colored embroidery covering it. I was wearing a really cool green thing, I remembered being stoked about.

Ideas

Seeing the neat landscaping of the astral version of my house, gave me some good ideas for landscaping this summer.

Timing
I had three projections. Each lasted about a minute.
How do I make these things last longer? They are so awesome.

I advise everyone to keep the journal next to where they project. Writing this stuff down immediately is important. And when you wake up, you are in such a pleasant state you really don't want to move to go get it. Arms reach is perfect.

As you may know, I had my first set of successful WILDS to astral(F21) today.

My other post covers a couple cool things I encountered, but in this one, I want to about about a sensation I had.

To preface, all of my projections landed me softly right next to the couch on my porch where I was attempting. The weather was different in all three(morning sunshine, light snow, super-red sunset). Things in the house were fantasy different, in all three, and my check of things in the house, did not add up, and my emotions manifested, so it leaves me to believe I was in the F21 training ground.

When I went from LD to F21, I went through a serious of false awakenings on the couch. One of them consisted of me 70% covered in almost painful vibrations that controlled my movements. A thought that ran through my consciousness was that "If this is what it feels like to be possessed, this sucks, bad" I slowly got off the couch and mechanistically walked towards the door. I fought for control, but to no avail.

IDK how I ended back up on the couch, or if that was just a rendition of a false awakening. But I successfully made it to F21 and enjoyed the crap outta it.

Have any of you ever had such a sensation. I know what emotional manifestation looks and feels like, and I don't think that was it.

I am proud to announce that this morning I had my first conscious exit astral projections(I had three). I foremost want to thank the community for being there and lending advice to help me achieve this. I appreciate all who helped me the last few weeks.

I don't need the typical congratulatory posts, or feel the need to explain my experience(super long story posts are annoying to me) for self satisfaction.

What I do want to discuss is the vast difference between what I thought I was doing right, and what actually were factors in my success in projection. I started my journey about a month ago and did a tremendous amount of research, so I feel I am a good newcomer-to-success story and have a couple of major insights to lend to the community. What worries me most is although the information I got was accurate; there is a way to go about interpreting this information that can lead you down a near dead end path in your projection attempts. I can't tell you how many posts I scanned through that contained people experiencing the same frustrations I was, and in retrospect, it was because we were all misinterpreting the fundamentals.

1. State of mind is very important to a first projections
When I started, I was attempting to go about projection before I went to sleep, in the evening or in the late night. Unknowingly, this was my first critical mistake. I read that night attempts were more difficult, however, I thought I could manage harder training. Who wants to get up in the morning to project, that sounds like a complete suck fest and , plus, I want to learn to project at night. I was wrong. I got extremely proficient at entering a strong F12, to the point where I could force immense vibrations. But it was always the same things that got in my way. My breathing. A really annoying itch. Thinking I heard something. In essence, BEING AWARE. I was shooting myself in the foot.
When you go about phasing its not that you are shutting off your psychical awareness, but rather completely diverting your focus; on visualization, or being really good at a mantra. This is extremely difficult. I will repeat that, this is extremely difficult. In the old world, people would train a lifetime to master this. And you want to pump this thing out?
You need help if you want to do this quickly. The helping crutch is choosing the right frame-of-mind. You will use this to get through the exit the first time. Once you know that feeling, I can assure you will understand the basic way to get there. So what is this crutch of a state? We have all had it. It is the "screw it, I am going back to bed to catch another hour of sleep" feeling. It is that quintessential, identifiable drowsiness that is actually rather rewarding and pleasant. So I highly recommend, not attempting to project at night, but instead sleeping for like 4 hours, waking up and forcing yourself out of bed. Take a shower, eat breakfast, and start you day, really do whatever you want, until that, screw-it-I-am-going-back-to-bed-for-another-hour feeling creeps up. That's when you lay down on your non-usual sleeping comfy place and attempt your projection. Again, this is to learn the way to get there. Then you can really start your training once you know the initial path.

2. Practice meditation
There is not an agreed upon nomenclature in this field, so for this purpose, I will refer to meditation as a deliberate mental expedition to find the "exit" into the astral. I was meditating, when I thought I was on the path to phasing. This was my second critical mistake. When meditating, you can get very deep into your consciousness(a deep F12), you can even stand at the foot of the "exit", but you will not know HOW to use the exit unless you have experienced it once before. When I started I was so full of vigor to find it enter it, and failed repeatedly. I can't tell you how frustrating this is; you will time and time again wake up sweating, trying to analyze what you did wrong. I am sure most newcomers will experience exactly what I am talking about. So, when beginning, you are in a conundrum of sorts, you need to get somewhere you don't know how to get to, and all you have is a myriad of mixed approaches people have suggested to explore your surrounding when you close your eyes in a relaxed state.
Now although these repeated attempts at meditation are frustrating, especially when they appear fruitless, please do not discount them. They will teach you how to get to the exit, even if you can't go through it. So when you finally give the morning technique a shot, you will identify and understand all the basic feelings you encounter. You need to understand and be comfortable with all these feelings and learn what the milestones are so they don't freak you out, when you experience them and can discount them without a worry.
So contrary to what I said in 1, practice before bed. Do it and do it often, but understand that a deep F12 state is your goal. This I did right. Hell, try to find the exit, but please don't get frustrated if you can't, just simply understand you are going to need that state of mind tip in 1 to understand the way. Then when you understand how to apply the way to find that exit in a deep F12. Practice, Practice, Practice.

Intermission - I so wish I had these tips when I started.

3. Don't search for the milestones
Vibrations. Random Noises. Mind Awake Body Asleep. A feeling of being pulled upward. I know all these sensations very well after all my practice, but when you are actually phasing, experiencing any of them doesn't matter, ignoring them is what matters. That is so vital. I would stay up night searching for the path, exploring colors, reaching chest pounding and hyperventilation dead ends, thinking I just need to get past those points. Thinking that finding the vibrations is the secret to astral projection and I am just failing at finding them. This is NOT the case. Phasing is natural, there is no searching for milestones. There is no getting past anything. I could never believe that it just happens so easily, but it does. I feel so foolish after all my attempts, but am grateful I understand how to reach different levels of consciousness so quickly now. So how do you get there if milestones aren't the solution?

4. Visualization

Visualization is the key. Honestly a mantra does not work for me because I get to bored with it after a while, and start thinking about other things. I think very few of us are that mastered at focus. Again, that's a lifetime of training. So what exactly is visualization?
The best example is daydreaming. You know when you are daydreaming, and you snap back into reality. That action, that disconnectedness, is exactly what we are trying to achieve. That is what we want to attempt to recreate. Lay there in a relaxed state taking deep breaths and start thinking out stories. Really anything you could daydream about. Ironically, this is how I get to sleep at night. The differences, is that because you have been practicing, you know all the cues of falling asleep. You will visualize a story, and then snap back to thinking that you lost focus of your story. You'll be like, "Crap!" But, actually what you just did was perfect. You are more disconnected and still maintaining awareness. So, then visualize another story, try to bring it as far as you can. And again you will lose focus and snap back. Be persistent and stay focused on you stories. Really they can be any physical manifestation daydream, just keep 'em coming. Eventually, the milestones will start to kick in. For instance a noise in one of your visualizations will actually happen, but because you have been practicing you will not be startled. Just think, "good" and enjoy the added effects to you thoughts. Keep up your visualization attempts and deeper, passing the vibration milestones, far past where you realized you are actually laying there. It will just happen, because you will be so engrossed in your visualization. You will feel vibrations and a rush/whoosh. From this point, you have entered the natural process. It will feel natural, just maintain composure and keep focus on you visualizations. From this launching pad, you can go all sorts of places depending on your proficiency.

5. Remember your training

Because you have been practicing and reading so much about the astral, remember the tenets will be easy when you get to the training ground or wherever the launch takes you. Thought = Action, Emotions will Manifest. Intent is King.

You will feel light and soft and everything will be beautiful. The astral is absolutely gorgeous. It is more astounding and comforting then anything I could have ever imagined it to be.

To recap. Don't force yourself into a state. You have to know the path. Stay up late, wake up a couple hours early, but use those hours to go back to rest/attempt when your body tells you too. Practice before going to bed on normal nights. Understand the milestones, but don't search for them, the process is natural. Searching will interfere with the steadfast visualization that is truly required to achieve success.

I wish you all the best in your journeys and would like to thank everyone here at the board again for helping me out so much. I sincerely hope this helps newcomers. It is exactly the information I needed when I started.

Sincerely,
Contenteo

So I spent probably a little more than 3 hours in F12 last night explorin' around.
I got some comments an questions.

I found it was really easy to put my eyes asleep if I purposefully moved them around a ton at the start. They got tired much quicker and were less apt to dart. Feelings on this?

Most importantly was the three points I got to that appeared to be the deepest. The first two were very deep F12 and the ending was characterized by a pulsating of my abdomen, right above my belly button. Like a whole chest throbbing. This has thrown me outta state before so its nothing new. But it ticked me off because I could never get passed this state.

So I did some research, and no one really talks about this feeling, so I figured I might be going down a wrong avenue.

So I backed up to F10 and started exploring/focusing elsewhere.

Anyway, I got to another interesting feeling endgame, It felt as if my body was being pushed into my mattress, almost like by the feeling, I should have been well into the center of it by that point, but my body was pretty much numb. Then for about 3 seconds I had this incredible sensation. My perception changed. It was as IF/like(notice simile)something had a firm grip on my head and my body was just hanging lifelessly. Of course I doubted this perception immediately, know I was laying and bed and came promptly back to a strong F10.

Oh, another interesting note, y'all know the colors ya see while hanging around in F12. In the first two instance, the colors formin all those crazy shapes we see were blue, but down the last avenue, they all changed to green. Same shapes and whatnot, just a distinct color change. I thought that was interesting.

Can anyone give input into the different avenues I went down and their endgames? Familiarities? Agreement in color shifts? Similar feeling paths?

Cheers,
Contenteo

I could go into all the neat things I was experimenting with colors and form too.

What is everyone's environment when they attempt to Astralize?

Music? Small Lights on? Complete Silence? Bed/Couch? pillow/no pillow? Etc...

I think our answers will be an interesting conversation.

So i was so enthralled with Campbell's Big TOE theory and the nature of consciousness. I began tearing it apart.

One of my questions, was "Ok, big consciousness controls every consciousnesses, I can dig it, but where does it start and how does the a brain/decision tree develop. Like are bacteria conscious?"

So I went delving through the journals. Then I came across this fact.

"However the work I've done with Roger Penrose predicts a threshold for emergence of conscious experience at a level of microtubule complexity and quantum coherence in roughly hundreds of neurons. This level is found, for example, in small worms, tiny sea urchins, and other very simple creatures. Bacteria and protozoa like paramecia are below that line, so, in this view, they would not be conscious. They would be more like proto-conscious—something like a primitive sub-conscious or dream state."

Link to article http://www.quantumconsciousness.org/interviews/alternative.html

Wait, backup. Whoa. So a sub-conscious/dream state happens before real consciousness? :-o

Damn that is interesting. One up for his big TOE in my book.

I had this thought I thought I should share. Isn't it a shame that the majority of people in jail don't know about projection. They could be pros.

I have spent a good couple hours researching the fate of Frank Kepple.

What a shame for someone so integral to disappear so suddenly and oddly.

Its funny, 3 weeks ago, I was as skeptical as they come when discussing about other dimensions that whatnot.

But I can't help but feel that it was an intervention from some source. I mean he was leading achieving his purpose in life. I can't believe in his last days of what appears to be hours of writing July 17th, he would go cold turkey. Only in his last days to come back at act so...not like Frank(search his name and feel that one out for yourself.   I mean he wrote pages on that last day, check it out(cite:Franks posts sticky, look at dates, Xanth)  But, for a man of who appealed to logic and patterns and what seems honor, by devoting himself to helping others, that is not how one leaves their spiritual home.

From that my deduction is one of two things:
1. Some sort of value proposition(a logical offer) came about or
2. Debilitating Death

Although, what plagues me, I did extensive research and find no obituary or for that matter professional existence of the man at all.

Are we sure that Frank(Francis) Kepple was even his real name?

On the value proposition side, we can only speculate:
- Legal blackmail from somewhere
- Consideration of some sort to be quiet and vanish
- Government Job offer
- My fav- Found out a truth and was "convinced" to lead his life elsewhere.

Again, I am as skeptical as the next man, I was trained to be as an accountant.

Anyway, I got some questions, and would love to hear all your opinions and any other facts you might have come across. If you can please cite, It helps.

Was he definitely in Nice, France?
Is his wife still around, I know he talked about her in the posts quote a bit? or for that matter he had a secretary too.
Again, are we sure that Frank(Francis) Kepple was even his real name?

Always searching for the truth,
Contenteo

-Props and thanks to Xanth again for posting all his posts in one spot. This whole community owes you for the time you spent doing that.

Just a thought.

String Theory has dimensions.
They are all layered on top of this one like focus levels.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnkE2yQPw6s&feature=related

The 10th dimension is apparently other universe constructs and could be layered on ours.

Anyone think there is any correlation?

Ok I know that a lot of people AP in the morning, but my lifestyle only allows me to give it a go before bedtime.

Anyway, I wake up and I am friggin exhausted. I mean this is my 9th day or so of straight practice projecting every night. And I can say that the tiredness and "laziness" I feel in the morning is nowhere near what i have felt ever in my life. And I am classified as one of those people with "too much energy."

I have heard that I will start getting used to it if I keep  practicing. Which I am, it has definitely bettered over the last few days. but I have found tearing myself out of bed and getting through about an hour + espresso is the only way to kickstart my circuits.

Does anyone have practical strategies that they use to keep up their energy in the morning?

Thanks in advance!

Hey again!

Through fate, I guess, Right before my first Astral experience, I met an individual who was a into Tai-chi and Taoism. I was always curious, so I tried it out. Honestly I was uber-skeptical because if you have ever seen them, the movements of Taichi look like that of a very disciplined crazyman. I still think they do, but i understand all the difficulty is internal. It is not an external thing.

Regardless, so the Master of the dojo gave me the Tao de Ching(Sp??) second book of Taoism to read. My mouth dropped because the whole thing is essentially about F4oC.

I have a feeling all real religions at their core (IDK, maybe the playing spaghetti monster was an f2 thing, :-D) stemmed from what we are all exploring. (another correlation being "forgiveness" in Christianity - one will perceive no evil in the astral realm if they believe they are free. Anyway, heres the link to the Tao de ching:

http://chinapage.com/gnl.html

You make your own interpretation whether this dude was simply goin to f4 all day and teaching people about it. Oh for reference, I think f4=The Way in his mind. I mean, he didn't really have the letter f in his culture.  what else was he goin' call it.  :-P

PS: He also wrote a book called "The Secret of the Golden Flower" which is literally a guide to astral projection. Which talks about how to get to the way. Yes, you guessed it, it involves deep meditation and concentrating upward. I can't find a link for that one. Sry guys, you are own your own there.

Cheers

Good Evening All!

I am the kind of guy who breaks everything down when he discovers it to better understand it.

The pen may be mightier the the sword, but design is certainly mightier the pen.

Here is my model, It is based off of Monroe and Frank and my own experiences. I have not personally made the f12-15-21 transition yet, but I am definitely close.

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i388/UNITERC/ContenteosModel-F2.jpg

As Frank always said, it is so easy to get misunderstood on these forum, so please do not take this as fact, yet, or this as me trying to introduce my own model. I simply want to get input from everyone possible so as a community, we can help the world. I want your advice, and understanding, so please speak up. I hope this model can give newcomers the direction I desperately needed a couple weeks ago when I started this journey. Again, This is not a final draft, I want more advice so we can make one. Thank you in advance.

Hi All,

I pulled an all nighter last week, and finally went to pass out on the couch on my side. The long and short, is I had extreme vibrations and felt like i was being pulled out, but didn't get out. Next morning was off the wall about what happned, and searching for answers found you guys. (Thank god, since there is so much crap out there) This last week has changed my life. I am totally in awe.

First off, thank you for existing, because simply the existence of these answers and this forum has helped me out such a great deal.

Anyway, ever since, I have been reading Frank and posts here like a madman and practicing each night. God Bless Frank and all his posts, that sticky was awesome.

I could have kept slinking around like I was doing, but have finally decided to speak. I have so much I want to talk about and ask, but I do ever detest nubs with long butt first messages and no focus(yes, pun intended.) So here's my question/point.

Where exactly am I on the f10-f12-f15-f21 scale?
A deep f10? A solid f12? past that? and can anyone lend advice/guidance to me at my current state?

Facts on my experiences and skill level:

- I can lay down an over a period of 5-20 minutes and my body below neck goes numb - proficiently - EZ
- I can focus and achieve vibrations - EZ
- The vibrations take me upward (just slightly, not like rocket, thats what worries me)
- I enter a new blackness that is VAST, i cannot tell if it is 3-D since i have no frame of reference
- Then I have major hyperventilation problems at the start, but am almost over them through practice(Solution: I feel my chest rise to touch blanket to confirm breathe)
-KEY - when i enter this place, i feel as though someone threw a sheet over me while i was still laying in bed
- Thus I feel my body ever so slightly, and down below the vastness
- After a good 10-30 seconds in this place my breath still gets the better of me and I open eyes.

I am not sure when I am not supposed to not feel my body or really how to get away from it. (Frank said to roll out/blast off)

So where am I? Please give any advice to excited new guy that you may feel would of helped you at my stage.

Thank you all in advanced. TTYS.
