25-Jan-2005
Three French physicists say they've figured out how UFO engines work. The scientists claim they use a combination of electromagnetic and nuclear power and they have built a model UFO engine at the French Astronomical Observatory in Marseilles.
Jean-Pierre Petit, Claude Poher and Maurice Viton call their engine the Petit-Viton Magnetohydrodynamic Motor, and say it produces over 1,000 million watts of energy. One of its secrets is that it can suppress shock waves which occur naturally in the air and slow down any flying object.
French science has a much more open attitude towards UFOs than do similar institutions in the U.S. Poher, for instance, is the head of the French UFO group GEPAN, while remaining in his position as head of the Astronomy Department of the French equivalent of NASA. This would not be possible in the U.S.

QuoteSatellite Mysteriously Quits
20-Jan-2005
In an extremely rare event, a communications satellite has stopped communicating, resulting in no telephone service for 10 South Pacific nations. The hundred million dollar IS-804 satellite stopped relaying phone calls on Saturday. It's probably still in orbit, but no longer pointing its antennae toward Earth. This could have been caused by the recent the solar storms, although no other satellites have been affected.
The NOAA Space Environment Center in Boulder, Colorado has issued a warning about a strong solar flare and radiation storm. The flare is large enough to cause radio blackouts and is the largest flare ever produced by this particular group of sunspots. More flares are expected this weekend.
The satellite loss left the Cook Islands, Western Samoa, Solomon Islands, part of Samoa, Tuvalu and Tonga, as well as other small and island nations in the region, without telephone communication.
QuoteFireballs in Spain

Click to See Object Split in Two
It's usually ice blocks that fall from the sky in Spain, but recently hundreds of witnesses there saw balls of fire in the sky. Authorities are searching for an estimated 50 tons of material from a meteorite which broke up after colliding with the Earth. A local official says, "I left the house at around 12 minutes to six. I heard a big explosion, like an earth tremor, and a white cloud of smoke formed around a nearby mountain which took a long time to disappear." Another witness says, "There was a loud report, like an explosion. The windows shuddered and we were frightened."
What's worrisome is that there was no warning—despite the fact that the meteorite must have weighed between 50 and 100 tons. Astrophysicist Jose Maria Quinana says, "What is odd is that no warning whatsoever was received from the many spotters who specialize in this subject."
These extraordinary photos were provided by José Manuel García Bautista of Spain's "Frontera Desconocida" radio program.
Many meteorites are mistaken for UFOs, since these mysterious craft have brightly shining lights. Are they trying to hide, or to attract our attention—exactly what is their agenda?
QuoteThai tsunami trauma sparks foreign ghost sightings
A second surge of tsunami terror is hitting southern Thailand, but this time it is a wave of foreign ghosts terrifying locals in what health experts described as an outpouring of delayed mass trauma.
Tales of ghost sightings in the six worst hit southern provinces have become endemic, with many locals saying they are too terrified to venture near the beach or into the ocean.
Spooked volunteer body searchers on the resort areas of Phi Phi island and Khao Lak are reported to have looked for tourists heard laughing and singing on the beach, only to find darkness and empty sand.
Taxi drivers in Patong swear they have picked up a foreign man and his Thai girlfriend going to the airport with all their baggage, only to then look in the rear-view mirror and find an empty seat.
Guards at a beachfront plaza in Patong told AFP one of their men had quit after hearing a foreign woman cry "help me" all night long, and similar stories abound of a foreign ghost walking along the shoreline at night calling for her child.
The majority of Thais are deeply superstitious, believing ghosts reside in most large trees and keeping a spirit house in every home where daily offerings of food and drink are given to calm nearby paranormal entities.
Mental health experts warn tsunami survivors have picked up on this cultural factor as a way of expressing mass trauma after living through the deadly waves and witnessing horrific scenes in their aftermath.
"This is a type of mass hallucination that is a cue to the trauma being suffered by people who are missing so many dead people, and seeing so many dead people, and only talking about dead people," Thai psychologist and media commentator Wallop Piyamanotham said.
He said people who claimed to have seen ghosts first-hand were people that mental health specialists would be paying particular attention to.
Mr Wallop is currently organising a team of Thai and international health workers to join other specialists in affected provinces who are assisting people suffering psychological trauma as a result of the crisis.
Amateurs and professionals alike have been pivotal in the recovery of thousands of corpses from beaches and coastal towns ravaged by tsunamis on December 26, and in the subsequent processing of handling bloated and rapidly decomposing bodies at huge makeshift morgues.
Their round-the-clock work could be taking a devastating toll, with at least seven workers having already been hospitalised suffering extreme trauma.
Volunteers helping at Thai temples, transformed into scenes of grisly death as forensic experts struggle with the task of identification, are especially vulnerable, psychologists and doctors said.
Mr Wallop said widespread trauma began to set in about four days after the waves hit.
"This is when people start seeing these farangs (foreigners) walking on the sand or in the ocean," he said, adding the sightings started about the same time as people "began calling for help, crying, some scared".
Many people said they could not escape the smell of death or the sights they had seen while assisting in the crisis, he said.
Mr Wallop said the reason almost all ghost sightings appear to involve foreign tourists stems from a belief that spirits can only be put to rest by relatives at the scene, such as was done to many Thai victims.
"Thai people believe that when people die, a relative has to cremate them or bless them. If this is not done or the body is not found, people believe the person will appear over and over again to show where they are," he said.
Mr Wallop said in time people who need counselling would be reached and assisted and the sightings would settle down, but many locals claimed they would not be swayed by such talk.
"After visiting Wat Baan Muang (a temple where hundreds of bodies are still stored) I'm very scared. I can't sleep at night and when the wind comes I'm sure it is the spirits coming," said Patong bar manager Napaporn Phroyrungthong.
"I believe in ghosts and I always will. [The tsunami] happened so quickly, the foreigners didn't know what happened and they all think they are still on the beach. They all think they are still on holiday," she said.
QuoteTroy Hurtubise has done the seemingly impossible with his newest invention and defied all known rules of physics, he says.
The Angel Light—Hurtubise claims the concept came to him in a recurring dream—can reportedly see through walls, as if there was no barrier at all.
That's not all, though.
So impressed
Hurtubise, 41, said the device detects stealth technology.
And he's done the tests to prove it, with the covert help of scientists at the famed Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Hurtubise said.
If that's not enough, Hurtubise also said the French government sent representatives to North Bay to witness a demonstration of the Angel Light.
Hurtubise said the reps were so impressed with the eight-foot long device they paid him $40,000 in cash to put the finishing touches on it.
New universe
The French, Hurtubise adds, have also agreed to pay him a "substantial" amount of money for the technology if it passes rigorous tests in France.
"They couldn't believe what they saw," Hurtubise told BayToday.ca.
"One of them told me it was as if I'd discovered a new universe."
Gary Dryfoos, a consultant and former long-time instructor at MIT, said "there's a Nobel Prize" for Hurtubise if the Angel Light really performs as described.
"There are laws of physics waiting to be written for what he's talking about," Dryfoos said.
The French aren't the only ones interested in Hurtubise's innovations.
BayToday.ca has obtained documentation confirming that the former head of Saudi counter-intelligence, who asked that his name not be used, has been in regular contact with Hurtubise regarding the Angel Light, fire paste, and the Light Infantry Military Blast Cushions (LIMBC).
Ultra-wideband technology
While Hurtubise's claims appear, on the surface, to strain credulity, he has now placed himself miles ahead in the quest by high-tech companies to invent something that will do the same thing.
Motorola Inc. for example, has set its sights on emerging technology that could allow first responders and Special Forces to see through building walls, the Washington Technology Web site reports.
Camero Inc. an Israeli firm founded by technology and intelligence veterans, received $5 million from Motorola and other investors to develop portable imaging radar that uses ultra-wideband technology to create a 3-D picture of objects that are concealed by walls or other barriers.
Plasma light
Three units make up the Angel Light.
The main unit, which Hurtubise calls the centrifuge, contains the Angel Light's brains and includes black, white, red and fluorescent light sources, as well as seven industrial lasers.
The second unit, or the deflector grid, contains a large circle of optical glass, a microwave unit and plasma intermixed with carbon dioxide.
The third unit contains eight plasma light rods, CO2 charges, industrial magnets, 108 mirrors, eight ionization cells industrial lights, and other components Hurtubise chooses to remain tight-lipped about.
Just a dream
Hurtubise said the Angel Light has cost $30,000 to build—he sold percentages of his other innovations to finance it—as well as 800 to 900 hours of his time.
He credits his subconscious with the idea.
"I had a dream about a year and a half ago as I do for most of my innovations, just a dream, and I saw it, saw the whole casing and everything, and I saw what it could do," Hurtubise said.
"I had the same dream about that three times and by the third time I had it in my head and I started to build it."
Through the wall
Troy dreamed the Angel Light would be able to see through walls with window-like efficiency, and then built it with no blueprints, drawings or schematics.
"I turned it on—that was well over a year ago—and it worked and it was really awesome."
Hurtubise said he could see into the garage behind his lab wall, and read the licence plate on his wife's car and even see the salt on it.
"I almost broke my knuckles three or four times, because it was almost like you could step through the wall," Hurtubise said.
"You could be fooled into believing that you could actually walk through the wall and go touch the car."
Across the border
Hurtubise called his MIT contacts with news of what he'd done.
"They told me that I was playing with electromagnetism," Hurtubise said.
The conversation ultimately led to the discovery of the Angel Light's other startling properties.
Hurtubise said "somebody from MIT" shipped him an eight-inch by eight-inch piece of panelling from the latest Comanche helicopter, which was built using radar-resistant stealth technology.
"It's amazing what you can get across the border on a Greyhound bus," Hurtubise said.
Pick it up
Hurtubise was instructed to set up an outdoor track, which he did on First Nations land.
He attached the panel piece to a remote control car that went down the track.
Hurtubise then aimed the Angel Light at the panel and turned on a radar gun.
"I was able to pick it up the panel on the radar gun," he said.
Stopped working
But a strange thing happened to the car, once it was hit by the Angel Light beam: it stopped working.
Hurtubise returned to his lab and began testing the Angel Light on other electronic items including portable radios, TVs and a microwave over.
"They all stopped working," Hurtubise said.
He duly reported this to his MIT contacts.
"They said 'Troy, this is unbelievable.'"
To the ground
Hurtubise purchase a remote-control plane for $1,800 and took it and the Angel Light to a flying field on the way to Powassan.
He directed the Angel Light beam toward the sky and started the plane flying.
"On the first loop it came around, passed through the beam of light and fell right to the ground," Hurtubise said.
Peeled it back
Hurtubise continued testing the light on other materials and discovered it could also see through other metals including steel, tin, titanium and, unlike Superman, lead.
As well the beam also penetrated ceramic and wood.
The Hurtubise put his hand in the light beam.
"I could see my blood vessels, muscles, everything, like I'd taken an Exacto knife, cut into my skin and peeled it back," Hurtubise said.
Bad stuff
Soon after, Hurtubise discovered the Angel Light had devilish side-effects.
He lost feeling in the finger of the exposed hand and began suffering an overall malaise.
"MIT told me every time I turned it on there must have been splash-back hitting me," Hurtubise said.
A test on a tank of goldfish was even more disturbing.
"I turned the beam on it and within minutes all the goldfish died," Hurtubise said.
"That's when I realized there was a Hyde effect, as in Jekyll and Hyde, and I dismantled the whole thing."
Walked on water
He didn't reassemble it until the French called him after seeing a Discovery Channel program about the LIMBC.
Hurtubise believes the Hyde effect can be taken out, but by others who have far more expertise than him.
In the meantime Hurtubise believes that after 17 years inventing, his ship may finally have come in with France.
"My brother told me the only way I'd be able to sell any of my innovations is by walking on water," Hurtubise said.
"Well, I think I've just walked on water."

Mystery Martian 'Carwash' Helps Space Buggy
Tue Dec 21, 2:10 PM ET
Add to My Yahoo! Science - Reuters
LONDON (Reuters) - An unexplained phenomenon akin to a space-borne car wash has boosted the performance of one of the two U.S. rovers probing the surface of Mars, New Scientist magazine said on Tuesday.
It said something -- or someone -- had regularly cleaned layers of dust from the solar panels of the Mars Opportunity vehicle while it was closed down during the Martian night.
The cleaning had boosted the panels' power output close to their maximum 900 watt-hours per day after at one stage dropping to 500 watt-hours because of the heavy Martian dirt.
By contrast, the power output of the solar panels of Mars Spirit -- on a different part of the Red Planet -- had dropped to just 400 watt-hours a day, clogged by the heavy dust.
"These exciting and unexplained cleaning events have kept Opportunity in really great shape," the magazine quoted NASA (news - web sites) rover team leader Jim Erickson as saying.

Of course, far too few people comprehend the depth of the decay, the advanced state of the disease. When you willingly and happily participate in a program meant to deceive and destroy you, it is doubly difficult to first realize and second admit you've been had.
Then, when you finally do realize and admit your future has been rendered substantially dimmer by a small group of utterly conscienceless rich white men whose demented, inbred families have ruled the whole world from behind the scenes for probably five hundred years and maybe much longer, and you turn to the authorities you trust for protection from this suddenly discovered psychological tsunami, you learn another hard lesson. They are not on your side.
The real purpose of the police is not to protect the public, it is to protect the bankers and politicians who quite literally own the public, especially when that astonished and outraged populace realizes it has been betrayed, and attempts to turn on its keepers. The cops and the judges and the senators and the mayors will not be on your side, because they derive their authority as well as their affluence from the perverse plunderers who seek to wring every last penny from the hapless human herd they control and manipulate.
That is also the purpose of foreign wars, to keep the public distracted from noticing the crimes that are taking place right before their eyes while they enthusiastically cheer their so-called enlightened system and continue to boast they live in the best country in the world.
So, those who are paying at least nominal attention to the malfunctions of the world and the inconsistencies of all these facetious public explanations - that ever-so-small percentage of socially responsible humans - knows what the problems ARE. The question I keep getting - and the words on the lips of those aghast people who want to stop the mass murders and mass poisonings being inflicted in their names, is - what can we do?
Here's what?
* Capture control of the currency.
Without this step, freedom can never be real, because no truly humane system of governance can ever be implemented as long as the same greedy crooks retain control of the world's money. As long as ordinary people have no input into how that money is used, denominated, accumulated or distributed, the chances for peace in the world and happiness for its people are absolutely nil.
At present, more than 90 percent of the world's wealth, in a world of six billion people, is controlled by less than 10,000 individuals, mostly from two dozen families who can trace their bluebloody lineage back many hundreds of years. At the head of the line is the Rothschild family, which controls all the others. It has been estimated that the aggregate Rothschild wealth is at a minimum 5,000 times greater than the annual gross national product of the United States, although it's difficult to calculate, because the Rothschild octopus (and its loyal lieutenants of the Rockefeller family) literally own the U.S. money supply, the Federal Reserve, and all the major banks of the Western world.
Many communities around the country, such as Ithaca, N.Y., have already begun implementing their own alternative currency systems, but the vast majority of Americans are trapped in a financial system that will consume the assets of almost everyone should it ever collapse, or sag significantly, an event which many knowledgable observers think is imminent.
So when Bush the Younger drops a quick $78 billion on Iraq to be split up among his rich corporate friends, this is mere pocket change to the Rothschilds, about the size of a decent dinner tip relative to the immoral profit it will bring from the deaths of thousands of innocent victims.
The world's people - and most especially Americans - need to realize that to these people, you are nothing more than an expendable ant, to be crushed without thinking should you get in their way. With all of the inexplicably irresponsible spending done by the Bush administration, that day is rushing towards us headlong. Perhaps it's only weeks away.
And following this train of thought you begin to realize that it doesn't really matter how you cast your vote for president. And I'm not talking about vote fixing, or the computerized rigging of the elections. These combined examples of criminal fraud in Florida and Ohio are actually irrelevant distractions, because in an American presidential election, it doesn't matter who wins because the same people always stay in power. It has been that way throughout the 20th century, since the international bankers seized control of the American money supply in 1913.
Of course, merely contemplating the capture of the world's money supply means considering the complete disintegration of the world's financial networks, which are inextricably intertwined with the cancerous Rothschild octopus, and rescuing control of the currency from these criminals would result in the instant collapse of almost every government on Earth.
Who would accomplish such a fantastic feat? Who would control the new system? Would the world revert into piratical barbarism? Probably. But that's what we have now, only with a smile for the cameras, which are owned by the pirates in control.
This process, should it make any headway, would take a century or more, and be accomplished gradually, as states around the world recalibrate their objectives from pure profit to sensible self-sufficiency and actualized independence.
Of course, with heartless predators like the United States manipulating all these little countries into bankruptcy at every opportunity, there would be difficult times. But they would not be as difficult as the situation now, where the New York and London banks immorally reap the lion's share of profits for the labor of most of the people on the planet.
The tradeoff has always been security or liberty. Ben Franklin still has the last word on this: "Those who give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Sooner or later, we all have to bite the bullet and decide that we don't want to be slaves to the Rothschilds and Rockefellers, or it's curtains for freedom.
Which leads us to the second essential step toward promoting real freedom in the world ...
* Identify the real power structure.
Some silly Americans thought they actually had a choice during the 2004 elections. Right, ace, with two guys from the same college fraternity as the choices. Which makes all this handwrung consternation about Ohio recounts as useless as the peace demos prior to America's invasion of Iraq.
Bulletin to all Americans (and whomever else may care to listen): we are well past the point where influencing public opinion is going to stop the people in control of practically the whole world from doing exactly what they want to do.
The main difference between the Vietnam-era protests and what happened in the late winter of 2003 was that the entire media spectrum in the United States had been locked down by the corporations, which was not the case in the 1960s. The anti-Vietnam protests succeeded in bringing the war back home because it got on TV. That is definitely not happening today.
Most Americans don't know that U.S. troops had orders to kill everyone in Fallujah, whether old and infirmed or young and harmless, or that we essentially destroyed the whole city (and for no particular reason).
Even though a lot of Americans are becoming suspicious that everytime Rumsfeld's boys need a justification for some new atrocity, they just trot out a new Osama bin Laden video, whose on-cue performances have helped many people reach the horrifying realization that the U.S. war on terror was created in Washington, and bin Laden, who was once known as Tim Osman, is definitely on the U.S. payroll.
But then, identifying who the real players are has always been difficult in media-drugged, flag-waving America, which is thumping the world to death with its unopened Bibles.
If you think George Bush or willy Cheney is running the show, then you are woefully undereducated - which is the mental status of most people in America.
Notable midwife to tyranny Henry Kissinger is the chief lieutenant of David Rockefeller, who is the American commisar of the Rothschild empire, which runs just about everything. There are no real enemies, only those created by the powers that be to create the chaotic conditions to both cull the population and profit from the sales of weapons to both sides. It has been that way throughout the 20th century, and doubtless long before.
Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany were funded by Jewish bankers in America and England. The Bush family was one of the primary benefactors of these maneuvers. They are trusted stooges of the big money players - Queens Elizabeth and Juliana and Sofia - and the banking giants of both Wall and Fleet streets. John Kerry's Jewish father was a CIA agent and he married a Forbes girl (the Forbes family, with Jewish ties, being one of the richest criminal American families of the 19th century, profiting from both slavery and drug sales to China).
Maybe, if you have the time, and any interest in your own freedom, you should to a little reading.
So you begin to see, when people ask me, "What can I do?" to oppose or combat this insanity that has wrapped itself around America's spinal cord like some demonic Stargate Goa-uld, it's difficult to toss back quick answers. Certainly supporting Dennis Kucinich didn't get us very far, did it?
We didn't get into this mess overnight, and it won't end for a long time, if ever. In the meantime, because of the lack of attention and cultivation of naivete and gullibility over time, we are deep into a tyrannical scenario where we do not have control over our own lives and have placed people in charge of our welfare who mean to kill off many millions of us, simply to make their own situation more comfortable.
This assessment can no longer be in doubt.
So what can we do?
How about you tell me?
Tell me true, noble citizen. What ARE you going to do when they come for you?
When the judges pronounce you a terrorist for participating in a peace demonstration and revoke your citizenship, what will you do? If you're a good boy, they may put you on probation for life and let you work in a McDonald's, or maybe Wal-Mart.
When the police decide to search your house because you contributed to a Muslim charity, and you decide to pull out your contraband AK-47 that you bought in a gun show in Texas, are you going to duke it out with them? Like Bill Cooper? Hell, they'll just fentanyl the whole neighborhood. What will your thought be with that last choking breath of yours? That you live in the best country in the world?
What will you do if they put you in a camp where nobody comes out? Petition your Congressperson? My Congressperson is Katherine Harris, as perfidious a felon as exists in any penal system. Don't count on me taking this route.
So what that you know you can't get an iota of truth from your TV or your local newspaper. So what that you know the vote was shamelessly stolen in Ohio, guaranteeing the ratcheting up of endless war. So what that you know we are being poisoned by chemtrails, insufficiently tested pharmaceuticals, and radioactivity spawned by America's own devil weapons.
The question on the table is ... what will you do when they come for you?
For me there is only one logical answer.
Shut down the government NOW, before we no longer have a chance to do it all.
But it won't happen. I received an e-mail from my friend Blaga in Bulgaria today, mired in her New World Order imposed poverty (she calls it USraeli occupation) and pining for happier days under predictable and relatively benevolent (in her estimation) Communist leadership.
She included snips of Milton Mayer's famous anti-Nazi polemic, "They Thought They Were Free." Yes, Mayer was a Jew, but I'm thinking he had no inkling of the Nazi-like menace Jewish Israel and the Zionist U.S. would become today. At least, you can't hear it in his prosaic lament, chillingly appropriate for the situation in America today.
"This separation of government from people, this widening of the gap, took place so gradually and so insensibly, each step disguised (perhaps not even intentionally) as a temporary emergency measure or associated with true patriotic allegiance or with real social purposes. And all the crises and reforms (real reforms, too) so occupied the people that they did not see the slow motion underneath, of the whole process of government growing remoter and remoter.
(snip)
"You see," my colleague went on, "one doesn't see exactly where or how to move. Believe me, this is true. Each act, each occasion, is worse than the last, but only a little worse. You wait for the next and the next. You wait for the one great shocking occasion, thinking that others, when such a shock comes, will join with you in resisting somehow.
(snip)
"But the one great shocking occasion, when tens or hundreds or thousands will join with you, never comes. That's the difficulty. If the last and worst act of the whole regime had come immediately after the first and the smallest, thousands, yes, millions would have been sufficiently shocked ....
(snip)
"And one day, too late, your principles, if you were ever sensible of them, all rush in upon you. The burden of self deception has grown too heavy .... The world you live in - your nation, your people - is not the world you were in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring .... But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed. Now you live in a world of hate and fear, and the people who hate and fear do not even know it themselves .... Now you live in a system which rules without responsibility even to God. The system itself could not have intended this in the beginning, but in order to sustain itself it was compelled to go all the way.
(snip)
"Suddenly it all comes down, all at once. You see what you are, what you have done, or, more accurately, what you haven't done (for that was all that was required of most of us: that we do nothing). You remember those early meetings of your department in the university when, if one had stood, others would have stood, perhaps, but no one stood. A small matter, a matter of hiring this man or that, and you hired this one rather than that. You remember everything now, and your heart breaks. Too late. You are compromised beyond repair.
(snip)
"What then? You must then shoot yourself. A few did. Or "adjust" your principles. Many tried, and some, I suppose, succeeded; not I, however. Or learn to live the rest of your life with your shame. This last is the nearest there is, under the circumstances, to heroism: shame. I said nothing. I thought of nothing to say.
(snip)
And so away went your freedom ....
(snip)
.... and one gray day, your life ....
