Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: UNDER 18 AP goers

Been a long time since I've been on this forum, but I'm 14, can't remember how I got it into it, forgot about it for half a year and recently remembered all this and am trying to get into the loop of attempting OBE.

I have been fond of listening to Astral Projection, not necessarily the most down tempo calming thing, but their melodies are so psychedelic it just puts you in a different state of mind.

David Wilcock/s, everyone should look him up, he's really interesting, said that when you hear that ringing that is your pineal gland becoming active, your pineal gland is your third eye, your way into the dream world, etc...

And some people say it is when a cell in your ear dies...

So will it feel physical all, because if I project and it feels the same, then one would think the astral planes might feel the same, but I guess you can control if you feel stuff or not?

Ok, so I took a nap, but the tv was on in my parents room, and I was too lazy to get up and turn it off, but I felt close again, even though slightly distracted. but I get to a stage where I really can't go any further, I don't feel my body except my head, everything is tingly, I imagine myself pulling out of my body, looking from a third person point of view, just something related to it, and for a second, I feel, well the best term to describe it is white, ridiculous vibrations, I am cold, there is a bright flashing in my eyes, but that lasts a few seconds, then I am back where I started. That was one long sentence! So any help?

Ok update on my attempts, last night I was laying down, pretty tired I had been running in athletics, I was definitely in an altered state of mind. Minor vibrations, I felt like I was falling, I was focusing on my breathing mostly, then my legs jumped into the air... I think, I am still not sure if this is true, if I was imagining this. Maybe my astral legs snapping back into my physical legs?

Any help or comments here?

Thank you!

I am still new to this, but that does sound very OBE related. I have read it can be hard to distinguish the difference between real life and the astral planes. Sometime I fall asleep not even knowing that I have really, usually I feel really tired before I do, but occasionally it just happens, so maybe that is what happened to you with the phone?

Why should I refrain from projecting and how could this affect me physically?
Well I don't know how it could affect you in the physical, but try to go to the bathroom before you try, maybe your stomach wont get upset, and maybe take some Tums, just the usual things that ease your stomach.

When are you attempting? The time of day affects your level of relaxation and amount of energy that you have quite a bit.

At night before I go to bed, I can never seem to relax that much during the day, or it will take me hours at least to do it.

Ok, well I never sleep on my back so I figured I should try astrally projecting on my back, I got to the vibrational stages a few days, but then started falling asleep and having no dreams and waking up really tired... The whole week I was sleep deprived but I didn't figure it out till Thursday when I noticed my fingers shaking rapidly. Well that is kind of random though...

What I did do last night was put some big pillows up against the wall that my bed touches so I was in a reclined position sort of. I got to really intense vibrational stages for a few seconds, around 20 or so, I was completely not focusing, it felt like my body was splitting apart, I didn't feel anything but my head really. Then it just stopped, for no reason that I was aware of. Anybody have any ideas?

I tried AP for my first time a few days ago, I got to the vibrational stage easily, and there was a bright light in the corner of my left eye, the light would grow brighter and I would focus on the ringing in my ears, I would start to hear popping and get very cold, but I couldn't get further than that, I stayed in that state for a few minutes before losing it. My other attempts ended with my biceps, thumbs, and wrists twitching to much for me to get to the vibrational stage.

So... Any idea?
