So when you first project, is it relatively easier to progress or is it just as hard.  I'd figure it to be easier due to the fact that you've made it out.  But as for the higher states, whatever they maybe, they must be equally as hard to atain as projecting in the first place eh.  :|

Sorry to seem to be vague, but it is very different for everyone. But I'm pretty sure the first one is the hardest for everyone, unless it is spontaneous. (They have it in their childhood or just have no idea what it is). The first one on purpose is the hardest. Then, after the first few (for some) they become more rare. Possibly because they don't desire them as much.

Yeah I remember when Halo 2 first came out my friend and I played it all night, and  when we stopped I saw the red crosshair, heard the gunfire and that blinking sound when your health regenerates. :P

I used to play video games a lot, especially Runescape (massive regrets there), and would dream about playing it, finding lots of items, getting my stats up, then waking up, logging on and realizing. :P

P.S. Video games waste your life. :P

I've been thinking lately that playing video games would probably diminish your ability to become lucid in dreams. I think this because if you played them a lot, you'd be used to being a different person in a different place at a different time, and often the events in the game are impossible to occur in real life. So, you would be in a dream and your mind wouldn't notice anything different happening than 'usual', because it's so used to those situations.

Thoughts?

In Robert A. Monroes book (i think the first one) he claims to have pinched someones physical body while projecting to get their attention. Later when he talks to them they did indeed feel it and it also left a mark. So, i suppose anything is possible...

He was a little more.. experienced.. in the field than most. :P

About your second post, people can't affect the physical from the astral, they are two seperate things. So noone could throw anything at you. And to see them, you would have to be projecting at that same time in the same place. :)
You also can't take your physical body with you. (Unfortunately ;))

You have to be a member for 24 hours or more.

How do I roll my R's? :(

Happy birthday! :)

Yeah, it was an Out Of Body Experience. Whether or not you think that is the same thing as Astral Projection is up to you. They're definitely closely related. :)

Most of us just don't like image signatures, some find them distracting maybe.

Mhm.. why didn't anyone rate mine? :)

Whether or not you believe in Jesus, I am guessing here that you believe in God, since you bothered to post in here, so my question is, do you really believe that God would ignore a prayer because it is directed at someone that may or not be God's direct representative?  What kind of God would that be?

I know, but how do you know for sure... :P

If God is anything like most christians say, that wouldn't be his worst defect.

That signature two posts up, I'll give an 8. Would be 9, but I don't like animated. It's not too small in my opinion, I hate big ones.

Here are some pixel art images I made when I was helping out with a pixel chat game, which never worked out. They are my first and only pixel art creations, I notice a lot of errors looking back. Almost half of them were quick drafts that I never fully made. They were all done only in Paint, about 2 years ago. I had no other graphic experience...

2012 seems to have more facts behind it than other prophecies.

I think Karma ratings are stupid, so I'm going to smite everyone. Please, smite me back. It doesn't do anything, right?

Lol, +1 karma for you. :)

Actually, this karma thing is starting to make me a little angry.. And others..
It creates tension and prevents people from being honest, they're afraid of being 'smited'. I think honest people should be applauded.
I just got smited for saying my opinion against someone who said there's evil aliens everywhere.
I was even joking when I replied.
Grr?
I think it should be removed.

There are definitely people who I believe deserve more karma (Job & James S), and some who deserve less, but remember, not everyone's opinion is the same. At all. :)
I'm just glad karma on here doesn't actually affect anything, or there would be TOTAL CHAOS. :P

I don't understand why people pray to Jesus, often more than to God. They believe that he is God, another form, but how are they totally sure? There is so much conspiracy around Jesus, wouldn't they have a little doubt? He may be God's son, but if he wasn't, these people would've been praying to Jesus their whole life, and God may not answer the prayers because Jesus was a.. poser, basically. Again, I'm not saying that he is for sure or isn't for sure God's son. It would probably just be best, in my opinion, to pray to God himself to make sure... "BUT I HAVE FAITH!"... Yeah, but your faith should be more in God than Jesus, as more religions include God than Jesus.

No? :)

99% of aliens we run across would like to have humanity killed or enslaved.  Having tried and failed at this in the past, aliens now kindly convince individual humans to be more passive and defenseless.  Whenever they give you advice on living, it's a variation of "you fight too much"

Wow, that's quite the proven fact. :)

Edit: Hmm I think Zareste smited me for that.. :S

Karma's just supposed to be for fun.
It also depends on the people who use it, and who reads that post.
Someone could post something great, but the only people that see it don't use the karma system.
Every time I see someone with a positive and/or thoughtful, helpful post I give them a point up. If they say something that's very useless (unless they tried to help), very negative, etc. I 'smite' them.
So, I try to say positive, nice, helpful things, and don't say negative things, but apparently people don't think like me. :) (I'm at 1)
But then there are others who don't use it at all.
And, where's this topic going?

Since I posted last I had an astral projection doing what you mentioned.

:) Maybe (s)he accidentally forgot to add the method in the method?

Umm the first one sounds like you've been thinking about Halloween, and watching a magic show like Criss Angel or David Blaine. :)

The second sounds like you've thought about break ups lately, maybe your friend broke up with his/her boyfriend/girlfriend, or you watched it on tv.

Events and thoughts in the day affect your dreams. A lot.

Imagine if all the time you spent on this forum was spent projecting/meditating/etc.

EqualThoughts raises an excellent point.
And, it is bad for you. Not worth the experience. No, not just my opinion. :) You'll be able to spend all the time you want there when you pass on. And, you can get there without harming your physical body. It's just/almost as important as your astral/etheric body.

also try my technique: i just stare off into space, concentrating on my third eye, until things get darker and darker then...boom im projecting. i know it sounds oversimplified but it works

You relax fully first, right?
