Welcome to Metaphysics! / Re: Raising your vibration

I'd say not doing anything that would harm others (physically or mentally) , or anything that's wrong. Just be a good person.

Go for walks/runs which I guess would be a type of meditation

Thinking positive in negative situations. Almost like take that hate, anger, jealousy... ect and really feel it. Amplify it, then love that feeling, give that feeling love. There is no such thing as a negative feeling.

So when you feel that swaying, it's your que to project?

QuoteMy new Mini Pyramid Golden Section Pyramids are completely hollow, so I can put the Crystals or other items I am experimenting with right inside of them.

Experiment? I'm curious what you can do with such things

On my first couple weeks trying to AP I got the vibrations and everything and all of a sudden they disappeared. It's been like almost 3 years and they've come back all of a sudden but I still have yet to induce a projection. 3 years. But I'm not at all discouraged. It's all part of the journey. Iv learned and grown alot spiritually. Dont give up, just know that you can project, it'll happen when your good and ready.

Through breathing and meditation. I'm sure you can find something on youtube about channeling your chi.

Definatly sounds like a lucid dream. I read this article about a spectrum of consciousness when you dream

Dreaming. Lucid dreaming. Astral projection.

Dreaming you have some level on consciousness because you are able to remember but as far as you know you think it's real.

Lucid dreaming are dreams that you can control ad manipulate to a certain point but is still going in some direction that is unknown.

As where astral projection is full consciousness of what you are doing. Fully aware that you are in dream world or whatever you like to call it. Everything is at your disposal. Where you go, what you do, and how you do it.

Everything is considered and OBE.

As for the searching thing... Maybe you found what your looking for and no longer need to dream. Maybe some details and someone could read it for you but I can't.

Ok first I was dreaming that I was laying in my bed. In this dream I tryed to AP. I got vibrations then projected. I was in the back of my bedroom looking at my open door where there was a black figure. I was frighten that he ran towards me but because I was projecting i was prepared for anything. But as this figure came closer I saw that it was myself. I senced that he was different in some way. He told me that he was my consciousness or something like that and that he was always here. When I tryed to speak to him no words came out and he tilted his ear towards me and said I had to speak up, in a mocking tone of voice. Then my little brother came into my room and talked to this other me, like I didn't exist. I tryed to get my brothers attention by he just looked my way like nothing was there but he senced something. At this point I went back into my previous dream where I was laying in my bed thinking this was reality. Two other people were with me  now. I grabbed this book trying to see if I was dreaming or not but everything was there, to the detail. So I started wrighting down my dream, when I finished I woke up for real this time in my bed. Where I wrote it down for sure.

Iv read that when you dream of yourself it's a reflection of how you are in the waking life, but he didnt seem like me at all, I felt as if he was an intruder.

Does anyone have any idea what this could mean?

Yes I feel I dream more or remember more of my dreams if I do some sort of meditation before bed.

SweP, out of curiosity, how long have you been practising meditation/other?

And for anyone else to answer, is there a direct correlation between the amount of  meditation and psychic powers? Or are some people just naturally capable?

Is it possible to experience both at one time?

Sometimes I can see myself doing something during a dream but at the same time I'm seeing it through my own eyes.

Welcome to Dreams! / Reoccurring/ familiar dreams
September 05, 2013, 14:14:57
Lately in the past few months (and last night) I've been having dreams that seem vaguely familiar, like I've had them before when I was younger. But it seems I remember more, or have been able to explore further into the dream. I'm not cutain I have dreamt it before but while dreaming/after waking I feel the feeling of familiarity. Like I've dreamt this particular dream before.

A few of them involved huge castles so maybe something in my past life? Coincident?

Thoughts..?

Yea Xanth, like they have done studies about this but I guess most of the subjects are thinking about remembering/having vivid dreams therefore such things are happening, but there are those subjects who have trouble remembering thier dreams (less connected to "self") are the off perecentage, creating statistics that may or may not be true.

It's just like if everyone put enough emphasis on the "fact" that eating corn will cause vivid dreams that you will get vivid dreams...but who knows... Maybe it's the apple juice aha
#46
When they start taking about combining consciousness with animals an stuff, are they just sharing consciousness, willing the animal to do what they wanna do or is the animal in complete control and they are just in for the ride?
#47
Really? I think ill stick with apple juice. Not really a fan of cheese aha. I'm going to try this apple juice thing tonight.
#48
Iv just read something about how drinking apple juice before bed will make you have more vivid dreams. I will try this when I have some apple juice handy.

Any other common house hold items that you know of giving more vivid dreams?

When I used to smoke weed... I couldn't remember yesterday ahah

Aaah ok so even to the experienced projecter, the use of any kind of drugs would not make the AP more enjoyable?
