Indeed. I've mentioned it to a handful of other people outside of work and I get the ol'  "wow that's kinda weird" remark. Which is fine, everyone has their path and will eventually have a moment of clarity all to themselves. At least by mentioning it I feel I've at least planted the seeds for them to explore it further :)

So my friend at work who has also recently taken on ap'ing just told me about an experience he had yesterday dreaming. Said he dreamed he was on his balcony and all of a sudden i showed up beside him. Said he asked how I got there and I told him i flew. He said he told me he wanted to be able to fly too and he said i was starting to tell him and i faded out and then he woke up. Now the kicker, four days ago i was trying to ap and i started visualizing the exact scene he dreamed about to the friggin letter!!!! I haven't told him my side of it just yet because i want to see if it will happen again! Anyway thought it was pretty cool :)

Can you post a link to that thread? I've never read it but i'm very intrigued by the comment :)

I was raised as a southern baptist the majority of my life. There was a two or three year period when we went to an assembly of God church and that was where I got 'saved' and baptized. At the assembly of God church people would shout an run and speak in tongues etc but i clearly remember when everyone surrounded me praying and shouting everything went completely silent and i had a vision of my great granfather to my left and he spoke to me and said he loved me and was very proud of me but i shouldn't consider church as the place for salvation that salvation lied within me. It was a very profound and confusing time from that moment on. For me over the years since I've came to the conclusion that religion in general is of man so it is imperfect, discriminating, and can be used for negative purposes in so many ways. I'll say each religion had it's special people, Jesus obviously being the one I am most familiar, and they were in touch and in tune with God. Being interpreted by people who have not had that true connection with God in the slightest are the people who view it as the is all end all. Without a doubt through meditating, projection, and a random sequence of events and experiences over the years my belief has been completely solidified in "heaven". As far as hell, i've never experienced a hell as in lake of fire, satan, etc but I have had dreams, visions, and auditory disruptions by some severely negative entity. Dare i say demon...after a lot of consideration and searching for answers i've found that what IT was was a reflection of one aspect of me and it showed me how I needed to change, where my life was headed and what it would be like if I did not correct that aspect of my life. So for me, hell is self created and self sustained while heaven is the true acceptance of grace, love, and peace without bounds but in order to experience that everything negative must be faced, dealt with, and laid aside. I no longer classify myself to one religion anymore but I do pray daily to God and each time I try to project or meditate my focus is set on experiencing God in any way shape or form.

I've only recently started conciously projecting. My advice would be to keep it short and to the point to begin with. Set your intent, focus and when you find yourself oob try to not to get overwhelmed by emotions. When your out, wherever you find yourself, do one thing i.e. fly, or try to go theough a wall, or just sit and examine your surroundings briefly and be sure to tell yourself you will remember the experience. Crawl before you walk kind of thing. Everyone projects but the awareness is what lacks mostly so take your time and be patient in developing and harnessing your awareness and recall. Hope this helps :)

As humans we love to put things in boxes lol. It was a weird recall though. Usually if I have a vivid dream or lucid experience i wake up immediately recalling it. This one however I recalled like two hours later in great detail and was like how the heck did i forget it in the first place lol. Felt great to have the memory though! As far as that experience goes, in your experiences or anyone else that reads this for that matter, would this be an experience in the "training ground" again i'm trying not to put this in a box so much as i am trying to find the underlying signifigance of it. The only emotions i felt were frustration and satisfaction.

So yesterday I lay on the couch and tried to project. Lost conciousness of my physical body and my mind was wuite still an calm and then got the vibes, disorientation etc found myself at work with all of these people who i think were engineers from various fields all arguing in different languages. Russian, spanish, japanese i know it was at least those three, anyway i found myself scanning the situation looking at what was going on with our equipment and two russian gentlemen approached me and i somehow then understood russian and spoke it fluently haha but anyway i wound up taking the lead on the job. There was a problem with our oxygen lance, our electrode impedence, a problem with our hydraulics. So i dealt in three different languages and solved each problem through system checks, visual inspections and physical rundowns of of schematics, prints, and computer software. In reality I only speak english, I have minimum knowledge of our greater electrical and hydraulic systems on sight and can not even access the computer program that is the brain behind our operating systems here. So i'm chalking this up to a test of some sort in a projection. Or maybe it wasn't a projection?

I have no clue how long the "blank" lasted but as soon as I realized there was nothing it triggered the shift. It was like everything else completely disappeared, which was fantastic by itself, and then the "blank" was a place(?) where Creativity and experience were all brand new. Come to think of it later in the week I came up with some pretty sweet guitar melodies that seemed to have just cropped up all of a sudden and my playing seemed to be more in sync with what I hear in my head! Also, the night before while I was meditating, my body i think my physical body began to shake and sway and wobble quite violently at times but not uncomfortably. Is this the kundalini uncoiling or am I cutting off circulation to somewhere lol?

Thanks for the congratulations everyone! As far as a method I really haven't used a specific one like the rope or rollout etc. i think what happened with me was phasing? Anyway i'll just tell the whole tale. The night before, got home took a long hot shower, did some streching, made a tea with calea z and lavender flower with about 2.5 tblsp of sugar because I couldn't handle the taste, did a chakra meditation(guided) in my bedroom with only a candle and in front of a mirror. I guess because I've read before mirrors are sometimes used as portals idk thought it may help. Got up the next morning feeling like a million bucks and then i got in my recliner later and just let my mind roam as it wanted. Started picturing my wife making coffee in the kitchen for just a minute and then I noticed my mind was completely and utterly...blank. At that moment i felt a rush and got the heaviest vibes ever! Then i felt very disoriented like i was spinning and had zero sense of what was what and then I was in my kitchen exactly where I'd pictured me standing behind my wife. Anyway i knew something had happened and i turned around and there "I" was still in my recliner! Felt so awesome and I did a little dance and almost got to carried away with my emotions but I got them under control enough to continue. I feel i should credit the experience to the night before more than simply me letting my mind wander. Going to continue this sprt of ritual and hopefully have many more experiences!

Spiders mainly lol! Once i came out of it i knew it was a test tht i failed miserably lol! But if it comes again i should be able to deal with it better.

Finally conciously projected! :) and projected three more times in a row immediately after and last night as well! How amazing!!! Didn't find myself in a magical world but I did fly at high speed chasing traffic and over trees but couldn't get much higher than the trees! Flew through a moving car! Visited my baby brother in class, went to my old homeplace and snooped around it was awesome and I owe a huge pile of thank you's to all the good people here on the pulse! Huge inspiration! Believe I had my first feat test last night and it scared the hell out of me to be honest but I know it was for my own good to get over! Pushed my hand theough my wall and beought back about 300 spiders bigger than my hand and couldn't get them off.

Was wondering if a hypnotist could induce an obe in a 'client'. The old SLEEP maneuver and a little guidance by the hypnotist. Just curious. I know we basically self hypnotize ourselves everyday and when we obe or attempt it but was wondering if it would/could work if you were to hypnotize someone and 'lead' or 'guide' them out of body...

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Simon Parkes
October 12, 2014, 10:29:13
Friend of mine at work, one of the very few I can talk to about aliens, projection, so on, mentioned Simon Parkes. I'd never heard of him before but after reading several articles on the man I can't help but want to read more and know about the guy. He makes some astounding claims but a lot of it correlates to some of the things I've read here. There may be a thread on him here i'm not sure. Wanted to introduce his name here if it hasn't been introduced yet.

Thank you all for the replies. I don't want to use it as a means of the only way I can one or otherwise experience what I'm not conciously aware of. Kick start may have been a poor choice of words on my part. What I want from it is for it to show me what it is I'm missing and perhaps if it decides teach me how to obtain what I'm after conciously. The reasoning behind my wanting to take it is the fact I won't have an option to resist once I take it. I've experienced 'magic mushrooms', lsd, lsa etc. they all have their place and their own teachings. I'm looking at DMT as A tool or key to unlocking the door that's closed to me while I'm concious and aware. That being said, I will still be patiently attempting obe 'sober'.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / DMT question
October 06, 2014, 14:06:50
So I've been attempting obe conciously for a few months now with limited success. At one point i felt i was "over doing" it, in a sense that I became wayyy to analytical about what I was doing/trying to do. Anyway lately I've read a couple of books and lots of testimonials and plenty here on the pulse which is always inspiring and a couple of weeks ago I ran into an old friend of mine who is a big fan of psychadelics and he and I got to talking. Turns out he has a connection to DMT. Have been highly debating whether or not if I should get some as a sort of kick start to what I'm attempting and possibly have an incredible experience that may teach me more about what I want to know. Anyone have any suggestions or experience with such?

Yes i usually affirm that "i gain full conciousness in my dream" or "i am aware i'm dreaming". If i'm going theough meditation or trance work i'll affirm "i'm aware of my astral or hugher self etc". So exciting to be this close :)!!!

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Missed my chance
September 05, 2014, 00:49:57
This morning when I worked off I did my usual affirmations before bed and this time got audible hallucinations after only just a few minutes. Sounded like crickets chirping and water splashing. Fell asleep and found myself fishing in an area I had never been but it was beautiful and the fish were biting like crazy lol!! Anyway from there it spun off into five or six different dream scenarios one after the other with obvious signs for me to pay attention to to reach a higher level. Throughout all the dreams I was active and alert but not to the point I recognized I could go higher. Landscape changes, people changed in and out, from a river, to a field, to a trail ride, to some weird parlor with people I still have no clue who they were to some industrial facility attached to a house I and my wife apparantly own in this dream world where a group of people were camping out on the third story all wearing jumpsuits and invited me to hangout with them and meditate to acheive a higher state and at that point for a split second it finally dawned on me and i got an insane rush and guess I was teleporting somehwere else annnnd then my wife got up out of bed and I was shot back and woke up too and was like nooooo I was so friggin close haha. Anyway, I do fish a lot and have an idea that will maybe help me realize quicker i'm dreaming. Going to focus on fishing except I won't have a rod and reel and Imagine I have a shovel in my hand instead. Maybe that will work!

I've always found remote viewing an interesting idea but kind of chalked it up to myth until very recently. That's awesome you can do that but I have no experience whatsoever with it as far as I know unless deja vu counts lol. I constantly have deja vu. Hopefully sooner or later i'll be able to tap in conciously and remember the events :) best wishes on your journey!

^^^ I like it :)

Thanks soarin! Yes it seems animals are much more in tune with these things. I'm glad to be finding out that these things are normal occurences. It's very exciting to me and truly fascinating :)

No not always intense visions and they vary depending on how focused I am and the duration of the session. I don't keep up with my time, maybe I should to better gauge the results. I understand te chances of coming home wore put from work are much slimmer for me but i do still get the 'symptoms' of projection almost everytime i commit to meditating. The last couple of sessions i got very intense vibes, ringing in the ears and for whatever reason the sound of someone snapping their thumb right beside my right ear. Needless to say the snap is very distracting. At one point I reached the highest vibes I've gotten so far and my bedroom was rumbling and i could see to shadowy figures standing over me like encouraging me to get out but I couldn't. To make it stranger i recorded the time i laid down that night and after the event. My wife said she saw two shooting stars going towards our house from her work about the time i laid down andwhen she went back outside she saw them again wxcept they were heading the opposite way overhead about the time i came out of the state. I thought that was awesome :)

Oh i'm having a blast! I only wish i could have understood more about this much sooner, but being raised southern baptist in a town of 350...anything like this and i would have been worshipping the dehbul or have been possesed or just plain crazy lol! Like i said i had buried this stuff down over the years and now i'm not afriad or freaked but more open minded than ever before and ready to explore every corner of my conciousness :)
