Yeah, "stop polluting."

Aren't statistics 90% wrong?
#28
Yeah, cause thats both reasonable and reliable.

Tantrics do not talk of their experiences.

Ive never heard a thought other than my own except for one time when I was half asleep.

Quote from: CeraphimI don't think its my place to budge...but I'd stay OFF the acid or any other hallucinogens because its dangerous to your body as well as your mind.

I think chemicals, radiation and fast / unhealthy foods are just as bad, if not worse than acid in regards to the body. For the mind, everyone is different. Hallucinogens tend to 'expand' consciousness (for better or for worse) which could be damaging depending on the individual. Otherwise, since its not really a hard drug it can be used safely in moderation.

I used to be into Sufism. Unfortunately, that was so long ago I remember nearly nothing about it.

Why do people even post these things?

And the answer is: what is the meaning of life?

Hi lola. I just had a tealeaf reading done a few months ago, and I would like to try comparing the results on both; what signifigant events or changes are going to happen me in the next few months?
#37
I completly agree. To me it seems more and more like an internal process, rather than some intricate spiritual and / or religious process.

Literature and philosophies like this can sevrely damage young minds for years to come. Even though creating restrictions can be for the right means, they can produce the wrong ends. I personally dont think its wrong, but I think there is a limit.

Teenagers (and people) will do whatever they want when they think are ready, (weather or not they really are) and everyone has to live with that.

Liquid Dub - Volume 7 (except the blue lotus track) its the only music I listen to, but any real ambient / ambient dub is pretty good. This cd has a lot of eastern influence which is cool.

This whole topic is rediculious.

My english teacher used to say the exact same things, that was also the only class I learned anything both academically and on a personal level.

I think Above Top Secret is a joke, like basically every theory there. Everyone ends up creating these completly off-the-wall conspiracy theories; I think its nothing more than a subjective playground.

"... but thats just what they want you to think.."

Silly..

His Dark Materials* :)

This was the best series of books I have ever read. It is an incredible fantasy story and beautifully written, I would definatley reccomend it to anyone.

CBT (Cognative Behavioral Therapy) for treating anxiety / depression uses meditation in a way, that allows the patient to change thought patterns and aleviate the disorder. If its not biological, its all in your head.

I read some of it, but I havent been able to finish a book lately. McKenna's stuff is beggining to seem more and more abstract to me.

Yes, you should look into it a bit before trying either. A friend is a good idea, they dont have to be sober if they know what they are doing though.

Quote from: FrankHi:

They were probably just drunk or high on drugs, or they simply had no idea of what they were talking about, or more likely a combination of all three.

Yours,
Frank

I resent that stereotypical remark, but the third explanation makes sense.

I was a christian and skateboarder before I got involved with any of this. That all changed when I started smoking pot and reading about lucid dreaming.
