I'm opening this thread for any and all members who would like to engage in a group activity. Notice I did not say experiment. This is not an experiment. I would like to ask EV = Escape Velocity and Casey = OmCasey to come on board and give us some direction as to how we might go about conducting this activity. I would like ask Lu = Lumaza to offer his expertise in technique where and as needed.

And I want every one who is interested to step in and add what comes to mind.

The Purpose is to see how we connect to each other here on this website in our NP experiences.

Sounds interesting... has this idea faded into the dead of night again?  smiley

8. Commitment Are you willing to devote the time and effort needed to achieve
your goal? Are you willing to commit thirty minutes a day for a month?

I don't understand what he means by committing 30 minutes a day is this practice or the actual technique?

It is both I suppose? Where you put your focus, commitment and intent is important for everyday life, especially in the modern world with all its digital distractions.
Focus and intentional consistency is especially important when you delve into meditation, lucid dreaming and astral projection practices. At least for most of us.
The techniques are there to help you sharpen your focus and intentions by giving your mind things to consistently practice.
If you fail at doing many of these techniques successfully, you might have a hard time achieving conscious projections and an even harder time remembering those experiences.

I concur with everything above, with the exception that I do enjoy the occasional company of Mary Jane.

The thing is, I don't have the 'filter' most people have, guess I'm too honest. I mean what I say, and say what I mean, most people can't handle that. Sometimes I feel everybody around me are dishonest and have some sort of agenda, like they are acting and not being real. A cabin in the woods with a internet connection or a big library, a couple of dogs and cats, sign me up!

Hmm, you may be right. Certain habits will be hard to kick.
4  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Artificial Loneliness on: August 19, 2020, 16:24:49
On the subject of discomfort I wanted to also mention the following experiences. I recently had a few LDs where I found myself in some kind of vessel. Not sure if it is a ship, not sure if it is even moving anywhere, it kind of feels like it should be moving somewhere. Not sure why. Anyway, I am sitting in this thing just meditating on my breathing. Outside this "ship" there is just nothing. Not empty space, nothing at all. Like when you fold 3D space down into 2D and again into 1D... then fold it again into "zero D". It it uncomfortable to focus on this. It is outside this vessel as much as something like that can be said to be anywhere.
I then try to bring this emptiness inside me, unsuccessfully. It is very hard to describe. It is also rather uncomfortable to try to do. It does bring with it a kind of loneliness that I have not found anywhere else. If it makes even sense.
Just thought I would mention it. ;p
5  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Artificial Loneliness on: August 19, 2020, 15:49:41
I cannot provide a whole lot of contrast, except to say that I think I get it. I have always enjoyed loneliness and have never needed much human interaction. I also often seek isolation and disconnection from this current reality through meditation and LDs. I love to go on long drives alone too.

Any friendships have suffered because of this, because many people do not understand this need to be really alone for long periods.

I do not have a problem with people using drugs, but have never needed drugs to disconnect.
If food was not an issue I would probably have lived somewhere in a remote wooded area.
6  Astral Chat / Welcome to News and Media! / Re: Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind - Contact Has Begun (2020) on: May 24, 2020, 19:56:27
It's more like it is "collective" Phasing session, since it is normally done in groups, focusing on the same intent. That's what I like about it. It opens people up to being "aware" and that's always a good thing!  smiley

Have you encountered anything interesting Lumaza? Referring specifically to this as a focus I mean
7  Astral Chat / Welcome to News and Media! / Re: Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind - Contact Has Begun (2020) on: May 24, 2020, 12:22:32
I am not really a UFO guy. I have heard things and it is an interesting subject, but there are generally so much BS to sift through that I have just directed my energies elsewhere. I have never even heard of this CE5 protocol. It seems like a kind of partitioned phasing?  huh
8  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: I want to thank those who are still here keeping the boards going on: May 21, 2020, 11:04:18
Welcome back!  smiley

I would have loved to be here in the era of Frank. I have read all his posts here a number of times. When I joined years ago here, this Forum was active with some greats in Bedeekin, Contenteo, Szaxx, Major Tom, Xanth, CFTraveller and many others. It's died down quite a bit in the last few years. Forums seem to be a dying breed in today's World.

Thanks so much Lumaza!  That is a shame though, because forums are such a great medium for interesting ideas. I learned a lot here and trolls were kept to the minimum for the most part.

Yes, like many here probably, I only use facebook when I absolutely have to. Like when a friend posts a picture of their newborn potato shaped baby or whatever and I will kind of have to at least open it and look and "like" the thing. I do not use facebook or twitter or reddit all that much and certainly not for anything related to informational metaphysical pursuits.

I guess we are just getting old, haha
9  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: I want to thank those who are still here keeping the boards going on: May 20, 2020, 23:20:43
Long time lurker here. I came to the Pulse during the leading edge echoing energies and posts of a explorer called Frank. Those were interesting times.

Anyway, thanks to all the wonderful people keeping the flame burning here! It is appreciated.
10  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: shineling’s APs on: April 25, 2020, 12:10:15
Do you think this pandemic could be a direct reflection of changes that are occurring on other levels and frequencies of reality?
11  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: shineling’s APs on: April 20, 2020, 12:44:24
Why would you need defenses against something that is harmless? In a previous post I believe you referred to these shadow entities as harmless. Did  their energy signatures change over time?

I hope I am not coming across as being critical, I really enjoy reading about your experiences, it was just something I noticed that seems like a contradiction.
12  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: First OBE in a long while on: April 20, 2020, 11:41:30
I'll have to try that next time I project.  I've been having troubles projecting since I kind of forced myself to stop a while ago.

Why did you force yourself to stop though?
13  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: First "experience" and wanted opinions ! on: April 20, 2020, 11:28:09
Congrats Watts!

It is always such a treat to read these real messy first release expressions of raw excitement!

If you felt that is was more than a dream then yeah, it was real! You had your first lucid taste of the multidimensional baby! Keeping your emotions in check is a tall order at this point, so just go with it!

Paradoxically it often starts happening when you AREN'T trying so hard for it to happen any more, as you have probably read.

Enjoy the experiences! Thank you for sharing!
14  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: What have you learned about the fundamentals of the universe? on: July 08, 2017, 20:58:53
You frequently hear in Astrap projection experiences of people travelling through space and timeffort and asking entities all sorts of educational questions. Is there anything you have learned in your astral journeys that perhaps sheds light on some of the mysteries of the universe? Do parrallel dimensions exist? Are there other vensigns of ourselves out there? Is the universe infinite? Are there alI ensure?  The list goes on. Anybody had any luck with these sorts of age old questions?

Do parallel dimensions exist? Have had experiences which seems to suggest many densities indeed overlap with what we see here in the normal 3D + time universe. These densities occupy the same space in that you don't need to move physically to travel between them - which would make them "parallel" yes? At least that's what it seems like. What you tune into in normal waking consciousness is very limited so its hard to get a real grasp of the mechanics behind it all. And for a reason I guess - self imposed limitations.

Is the "3D shared experience universe" infinite? The pure physical 3D plus time one we all seem to share our minds in? I have no idea - have not run into copies of myself yet. We can only see out to what 13 billion light years?.. but the universe seems to be infinite yes, due to its uniformity and other reasons. And that in itself opens up a whole can of worms. Multiple versions of yourself being a mathematical inevitability then. Add the various infinite higher densities on top of that construct as well as the various "universes" inside waking minds that do not get shared like this one and it gets mind numbing.
15  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Back here after a long time! on: September 07, 2014, 00:36:11

I will take a good solid lucid dream with awesome clarity over roaming the local environment any day.

Enjoy those lucid experiences! Do not always look to "what is next". They are not just mere lucid dreams. They will open doors man, but you have to be present in them and experience them!  grin

Also, many have had trouble reading symbols/text/numbers in an OBE or phased state. If you can do it, that would be awesome. Just do not be disappointed if you cant.

16  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: The firsts moments after death on: July 20, 2013, 23:30:45
If a reality ceases to exist because there are no more consciousnesses experiencing it... then that's just that.
I honestly don't understand what you're saying here.  If you could expand a bit more?

I do not think I can expand much sorry. It was a rather desperate attempt at a flimsy argument at best.  tongue
I was going for an idea that creating certain things should carry some accountability. Universes for one thing.

It just saddens me, the idea that we could just forget all this, like a foggy dream that fades from memory.

My human attachments calls to me.  evil
17  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: The firsts moments after death on: July 20, 2013, 21:18:12
If you're to assume this physical reality is what science and materialists deem it to be, then yes.  You're right.
However, that's still thinking that this physical reality = different from a non-physical reality.  That's my point though.

My reasoning is that if this physical reality is really nothing more than "just another non-physical reality" then no, nothing would persist in any state if there are no consciousnesses around to make it that way.

Anyway, just an interesting thought.  Smiley

Nobody is by any means right or wrong.  I just thought I'd clarify a bit further what I was getting at.  lol

I am not assuming anything. wink I also understand your point, believe me.

The idea I was going for here was this: Whatever the medium of this seemingly matter based reality, there could be a component to it that allows for some kind of external persistence. Persistence even in the absence of any kind of collective consciousness to directly experience it.

Again, I go back to my analogy of a computer program that doesn't disappear from existence when it is not running. It, the medium whatever it is, has an inherent existence outside of ourselves because we, you, me, everybody have decided to experience this reality together.
That very act means we have created something outside of ourselves. There always seems to be responsibility in any act of creation. If we all could just stop our consciousness from experiencing this reality and it then seized to exist at all, there would be zero responsibility...
18  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: The firsts moments after death on: July 14, 2013, 00:46:28
There's also the question I like asking...
If every consciousness experiencing this planet we call earth (humans, animals, bugs... everything) were to vanish from this reality.  Would the earth then vanish as well?

Like a dream, does everything disappear when there's no consciousness left to create or sustain?  Smiley

Obviously we can never know the answer to this, but it's interesting to think about regardless.  hehe

I don't think it would just vanish. Should there not be an unusual persistence to this thing called physical reality simply because so many minds share it?

Even if something, like an ancient icy rock somewhere out in the Oort Cloud for example, has been completely sterile for billions of years... it persists in some state... It is like computer code in a long unused program: it's not "running in memory", but it is there, it has not vanished. Until it gets rendered... or experienced by a consciousness.

If I may be so bold: Everything echos into eternity. Even the dreams your waking mind has forgotten. ;p

Diablo 3 is just as much of a timesink as D2 used to be.

Reaming demons with the disintegration beam on Nightmare now!

Killed Diablo Prime Evil in a party of three and again in a party of two. Havent tried killing him on my own yet.  tongue

23  Integral Philosophy / Welcome to Integral Philosophy! / Re: purpose of our existence? on: May 17, 2011, 22:14:54
i mean to be honest, all of this is speculation.
without much proof besides gospels and bedtime stories.
theres no definite proof of anything its all based on belief.

... which is why you need to experience it yourself and then join the appropriate club.

It's a beautiful system. Nobody on earth can cheat the system. Well... not really. ;P
24  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Update: Proof now on unbelievableexistence: Eternal Hell on: May 17, 2011, 22:08:44
Hey I got a question!

In terms of astral and so on, does hell actually exist. Has any astral voyager dared to find out?

Through retrieval accounts it is apparent that various hells exist, either personal little tailored ones and I would assume rather "pleasant" persistent collective ones as well.
25  Astral Chat / Welcome to News and Media! / Re: Nothing is as it Seems on: May 17, 2011, 21:58:59
There were various experiments done which indicated that the brain reacted to external stimuli *before* they actually occurred.
I wish I had the links....
