176  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: Think I am noticing vibrations on: August 11, 2012, 19:50:18
That mindset might help actually, the going-home feel might make it easier.
177  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Think I am noticing vibrations on: August 11, 2012, 13:04:43
I think I noticed some vibrations this morning after around 6-7 hours of sleep, and going into a dream-like state didn't take much effort.

Edit: Btw without thinking I asked if this was normal, don't answer that, I know it's normal, I just meant I'd like an explanation of why it happens so easily xD
178  Metaphysics / Welcome to Metaphysics! / Re: Are we the only ones effecting our individual lives during manifestation? on: August 11, 2012, 02:45:51
So I tied to stop thinking about it, but then two questions raised:

 - Why do we get adrenaline when using manifestation?

 - If you've got a wild imagination, how can you stop yourself accidentally attracting pain onto someone else?

Lol I guess so.  smiley

I just got thinking about this earlier, and it's making me feel very claustrophobic mentally. If we use the law of attraction to try and gain a relationship, help our finances, or even perform a miracle, how can we be sure that we're the only ones transferring that belief energy? I mean, for a passive example; if a man wanted to be rich, yet this man had a father who didn't have much faith in him, thought all his financial ideas were hopeless and didn't care much about the metaphysics of his own lack of belief - How can we be sure that this man will become rich without the external lack of faith?

Or lets take a more forceful example. A man walks into a casino (or logs in on an online casino) and this man is on a winning streak; every time he bets on something he becomes really lucky and the adrenaline encourages him to double-up his bets and he still wins, but he's being tracked via cameras or live feeds, and the casino/online don't like this and collectively want him to stop winning and leave upset - How can we be sure that he will carry on winning, and what would he have to do to stop himself being metaphysically swallowed by the casino/online and keep up that belief energy keeping him winning?

Oh my God that's so inspiring! I want to astral project even more now xD

Yeah that is pretty cool!

I was thinking, what's the laziest way to learn programming. Because I hate programming, you need a computer with a really good CPU for the soul-sucking development kits required to learn programming, it's boring as anything, sometimes you have to study with complete nerds who are ten times more arrogant and clever than you.. Anyway lmao, so I got thinking, is it possible to learn stuff like that through astral projection?

185  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / What will happen if I only focus on relaxing and staying conscious? on: August 05, 2012, 04:28:25
Right I'm going to try tackling this from a new direction, and that is to stop using technique at all. What will happen if I get up in the morning, do whatever I have to do to make myself comfortable, go back to bed and meditate and just keep getting more and more relaxed but staying awake? Because when you get relaxed enough, you supposedly fall asleep, but if you stay awake and alert, will something magic happen?

I'm just thinking 'cause nothing works, I've only been out-of-body twice and they only happened without any effort on the technique. I mean yeah, in the middle of the night when I woke up and immediately started vibrating, I just 'sat up' out-of-body and then laid back down again, but I didn't visualise anything and I hadn't even been awake for more than half a minute.

PS. I was just proof-reading my post then and I thought I mistyped Meditate as Masturbate, how embarrassing would that have been..

I have indeeds but it asks me if I want to delete the thread subscription. I might try changing my email settings to one of my other accounts, see if that works.

Edit: Well that's done, I'll post on here if it still doesn't work.

Ever since I registered on this forum I've never been notified via email with updates on threads on my subscription list, why is this? My email is correct, I have my settings so that everything I post on subscribes. :S

189  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: New Symptom! on: July 25, 2012, 23:58:08
When I try and quiet down my senses and leave it a while, I start to feel a slight rhythm that's more fluent that my heart-beat and stronger.. Is this anything to do with what you mean?
190  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: New Symptom! on: July 25, 2012, 22:57:58
I'm assuming this is good though, right?  smiley
191  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: New Symptom! on: July 25, 2012, 22:11:15
Well it wasn't a jolt as in it made me jump, but it was an instantaneous reminder where my limbs were, and my arms and head felt like they were 'reattaching'
192  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / New Symptom! on: July 25, 2012, 21:03:49
Well, for me. I read a while back in an email that a symptom of astral projection is misalignment, possibly in the head. This morning when I was staying still for at-least half an hour after feeling tingles in my arms and feet, I felt like I was tilting my head to the left on my pillow. Could this have been my head physically tilting or something else? Because when I moved again it was like when I move my misaligned arms, they jolt back into the physical body and I 'remember' where they are.
193  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Steve G. Jones, a con artist? on: July 25, 2012, 21:00:23
No, no, no... this stuff is a GIVEN. No one should be expected to pay a dime to find their own essence. You have the RIGHT as a human to access it for free. We are not here to work, to make money, so we can buy our way back to spirit.

I doubt Steve thought about that specific philosophy when thinking up a price, if I'm honest. cheesy

To be honest if I had money to burn I'd go for it. I actually like what he says; his free videos are informative and good quality and when he's telling (but probably repeating) information about astral projection he's very well-spoken.
196  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: 15 hours sleep on: July 23, 2012, 06:00:20
Bad as in unhealthy really. I mean, I've been told it's very bad for you to over-sleep. I can't explain my paranoia 100%, it's just I feel like I'm really damaging myself.
197  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / 15 hours sleep on: July 22, 2012, 23:09:25
Hey guys, I had a night where I didn't sleep at all, ended up reading about 85 pages from some book that supposedly explained the science behind the law of attraction, but it ended up rambling about quantum physics and philosophical history which I couldn't deal with so I put it down. Anyway that's not the point, I ended up staying up, so at a normal time the following day, say 1:00am I went to bed. Woke up at 10:30pm so I got about 9 and a half hours sleep. Ended up sleeping again until 4:30pm which added 6 hours, so I ended up having 15 hours sleep.

So I'm worried now, is this really bad?
198  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: They Live on: July 22, 2012, 22:59:56
I've seen about two thirds of the film, it was boring and all over the place. There was this scene where he started a fist fight with someone and I decided to do something else instead, it bored me. Good concept, just badly produced.
199  Dreams / Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Had a really awful dream, need advice urgently :/ on: July 13, 2012, 23:36:21
Thanks for the replies guys, I'll post here if anything like this happens again. If anything has spawned it, my depression has been really bad recently and death has been on my mind, but drowning in a sinking ship or cancer wasn't on my mind.

Mini stapler, yeah I reach the conclusion of death in both scenes, the fact that Cancer is curable doesn't even cross my mind.. I feel bad typing this because there's a picture of my aunty next to me (I'm at my mum's) who sadly passed away from it, so.. :/
200  Dreams / Welcome to Dreams! / Had a really awful dream, need advice urgently :/ on: July 13, 2012, 20:24:31
If this is in the wrong forum then feel free to move it or whatever.

Basically I had a dream that revolved around the fact I was definitely going to die. I don't have any indication of myself dying in real life, but in the dream it felt like I knew I was dying. It was based around this forum. At the beginning we were on a boat and it was really bad weather, it was raining and windy and the boat was sinking. That's how I definitely knew I was going to die in the dream, but because I was in the dream I assumed it would only hurt for a few seconds so it wasn't too bad, until the second part of the dream which revolved around me dying of bloody cancer.

The next fragment I could actually remember was talking with my mum in the living room and asking her if I should reincarnate, and she replied saying I should leave it for a bit first. Then I started crying because the knowledge I was definitely going to die was overwhelming, and she gave me a hug saying it was going to be okay.

The fragment I can remember after that was when I was looking down in a park-like setting outside what seemed to be a church, and somehow I was also posting a question on this forum asking if I would keep my consciousness straight after dying, and I got a few replies saying how ridiculous the question was and I got anxious sarcastically saying sorry for asking for clarification (in the dream, still).

That was the last thing I remember before I woke up. It took a few seconds for me to actually realise that it was just a dream and there's a possibility I might not die.

So I'm just wondering, is this common?
