Hello. I'm 21 and pretty new to the whole world of astral travel, lucid dreaming and OBE's. It's something I have always been fascinated by, but just recently within the past 6 months or so have really been trying to get into. I have this friend, who is far more advanced spiritually than both myself and my husband. He's been, (not sure what to call it but) teaching us to view his mindscape and helping us to discover within ourselves how to unlock our personal abilities. Well, this past weekend, was the first time he had brought me into his mind, it was quite an experience. I was kinda bouncing all over in his head, going from one place to another. I went somewhere I shouldn't have and got reprimanded by the most beautiful and fearsome creature I've ever seen.. (it was a dragon). As I was being chased, my friend discovered that I had learned (some way or another) that I had the ability to duplicate myself (which I had no idea of) and the me that was being chased was that double. He was having a hard time keeping an eye one me Anyway, just thought I would share a little of my limited experience and hope to get ya'll's take on it and maybe ya'll can help me understand it all better.

Hello I'm 22, and I've been interested in lucid dreaming and astral projection for years. I've managed to have a few lucid dreams and manages to move around my dreams pretty well but I have yet to manage a real conscious AP. Not sure why, I've managed to get to some part with 3d darkness vision or extreme heat but other then that my body/soul just seem to refuse to do it xD A healer/shaman told me my guardian is blocking me because I wouldn't be able to deal with it, but I will keep trying and convince myself it is all fine :3 This forum is a great source of information and motivation for that ^^

hey you guys to all the new ones to astral projection, feel free to look around and research for yourself, this site provides excellent sources and links for almost any question on the subject, the only logical rule for any question or opinion i would be able to think of is KISS

not trying to offend, its just an old old saying, anyway like i said the best way to learn is to keep looking into different links that will eventually lead you to documents, videos, etc. etc. remember take in all views and then form your own opinion
but when it comes to something a little complicated and probably has no source or even if its something new to the fundamentals of meta-physics it's always awsome to share with your fellow Lifeforms

I'll be brief since I already had my moment in the spotlight with my introductory post lol.
Hmm...My name is Alexa, 23, currently residing in the beautiful Washington State and of course enjoying all of it's greenery .
Any who, I wouldn't exactly say I'm new to all these concepts, because they are things I have been thinking and wondering and questioning my entire life. But I suppose I would say that I'm new in the sense that I have just recently found all the missing pieces and put them together.
Anyway I'm so stoked to have finally found a whole community of like-minded people who share the same interests in views as me! Hell yah to ending the loner phase for good! Haha.

I just turned 25 a couple of months. I'm from New York.

I'm 4 months into Astral Projection. I started COMPLETELY from scratch. Didn't know what a chakra or an OBE was. I never even heard of a Lucid dream to be honest.

Since then I've projected about 7 times. I only left my room 3 of those times.

I really don't have anything beneficial to say. I just wanted to post before I'm kicked out of the club.

I have become seriously interested in AP this year and have been practicing relentlessly, but to no avail.
There is this book I found online written by an experienced APer who has been teaching others to AP for 10+ years. He has very simple,thoroughly tested techniques that work from the first try for like 60% of ppl. http://obe4u.com/files/the_phase.pdf

I read on this very forum that it is possible to nudge people out of their bodies while they are asleep.

Would anyone be interested in making a small community to nudge each other out of our bodies? Everyone here is interested in OBEing and getting there is difficult. Since there is a way to bypass all the hard work of OBEing we might as well try it out.
We would need someone who can already stably AP to be the primer to this chain reaction, however.

Hello! I'm 18 and a full time student of metaphysics, the awakening, and all that is peace and love.
To tell you a little about myself. I'm from the state of Arizona, USA. I am a dreamer in every sense of the term. I love dreams, dreaming, and I tend to dream big in the physical. I have yet to project, however, it is a goal for me in the next two years to be able to consciously AP without too much hassle. It may take longer, but I think if I practice I can get there.

I'm actually very happy to see this thread, I didn't realize how young the people on here were. I just assumed it was an older-persons game.

To wrap it up, there's one more thing you should know. I'm part of the foretold 'Indigo Children'. The next minor step in the evolution of the human species, children with a natural aptitude for psychic powers. (To include AP, RV, chakra control, etc.). And in the months ramping up to the start of the New Age, 2012 I began to feel the coming change of age. When I say feel, I mean I FELT the coming of the energy of the new age.

i learned to Lucid Dream a good few years ago now.. i find myself in them spontaneously mostly or by using the MILD or definitely more effective WILD method for those that are well read in Stephen La Berge terminology! haha

Can you share what are these Mild and Wild methods?
