astral sight question

You are, but the fact that the realms which we can see in this manner are so close to the physical precludes their settings from being anything but thought forms created by people viewing and thinking about their phsical environment; hence, they resemble this world so closely, you can't tell the difference.

Ok, i was just thinking about the ability to have astral sight. When you project to higher planes of existance, YOU are also part of that higher existance correct? Well if you are not out of your body, and are using astral sight to see projected higher entities, wouldn't you also be able to see the astral plane that it/she/he is on? I'm confused.
