 someone else that does 3d lol.. i havent really got to use maya but I know its animation features are better than in max.. how long have you been doing 3d speed? and are you self taught? ive been doing it for about a year and self taught out of books. Good job on your work btw =)

Thanks for the compliment.  I think I started 3D a couple years ago, I don't remember.  I don't practice very often, though.  I self-taught myself by going through tutorials and practicing a lot.  My dad's friend showed me some things like applying textures and other things.

Maya is a very complex piece of software.  It has many menus, multiple shelfs with several different tools on each shelf, tons of options for different things...

I just started into 3d Studio Max 4.2 a day or two ago [].  I need some help so I'll add you to my list soon.  I also have a dog named Toby however he's a Jack Russel Beagel Terrier.  See ya on MSN.
