Saw that movie and it has an interesting synposis. I'd give it an 8.5/10. Good piece of art, I must say. Cause Urgo wants it that way.

You're collecting these types of movies?  Awesome! [8D]

I've seen phenomenon; didn't much like the ending...  I haven't even heard of the others, but there was one I noticed missing...

It's meant to be a funny movie, and it's based upon reincarnation.  The two main characters are friends, something happens to them, yadda yadda yadda, they both die and incarnate as doggies.  They have some sort of important thing to say to their wives... and that's about it [;)]

The movie is called "Fluke"

[:D]Insert that was a great movie. I was thinking that it was a bit wierd in the beginning but when it kicked off with those conversations. There is enough material  for philosophy debate in a long time on a personal basis. There are many thoughts in the movie, but one i especially like is the 1, that we are all dreamcharacters in another persons deathmoment [:)].
Great movie overall and highly overseen.
Funny thing that happened some days later after i watched it was that i dreamt in the same cartoonish mode. Really wierd and i even caught myself looking at the time afterwards [;)]

Waking life is one of my favorite movies, i actually own the DVD. I just love it that i can watch it over and over again and still pick up new information that i hadn't noticed previously. There are so many concepts packed into the movie yet they are all transitioned nicely in my opinion. The visuals make the movie though, It was cool how Linklater decided to have the film drawn over top of instead of keeping it in its original traditional style camera filming.

Another cool movie that deals with spirits, is called Spirited Away. It's a Disney movie but dont let that distract you. It's a very fascinating movie as are all of Mayazaki's films. Check it out!

Hi,

Beth just told me about this movie a few days ago.  I ordered it from Netflix and have it here, but have not watched it yet.  :)

I saw it too but, after a few minutes, my brain gave up on all the philosophical stuff... [:P][;)]

Otherwise, you have also "Vanilla Sky"...  I've been told that the old version was much better than the one with Tom Cruise...
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

hello good people :D

has anyone  seen the  film  "Waking Life" ?

if not i  reccomend it,  its  right  up our  collective alley :)

it deals  with ideas on life,
experience,
reality,
meaning,
truth,
morality.... etc

its   about  this kid,  who  goes  round talking  to  different people in random confusing  places and  just hearing there opinions on  the  above ^  list,  (in ways  which were all  farmiliar with)
until  he eventually realises  that  he  is  dreaming it all and  that  the  ideas  hes  been presented with  have  come  from  his own  mind,  not  the  proffessors,  students,  pensioners, teachers, revolutionaries, bums, criminals and artists he  speaks  to  throughout the film.

itll probably  strike  a  chord  with most  of  you if  you  get to watch it,  you  may be able to relate  to some  of the specific parts in the film where he  becomes  aware that he  is aware of  his own  awareness of  existing.
