hey, im wondering about side affects when half asleep. wha is it called when your half asleep and you try to stay awake and than your head jerks upward? its hard to explain, but in biology today i was falling asleep and i was trying to keep myself awake but when id go into the sleep stage i went back to consious state and my head jerked and it feels like a little shock or something. does anyone get these affects? do you know what causes them?why do they happen?
