YAY for double posts.

Super Monkey Ball 2 is now DONE.  I spent the entire weekend on this game.  Oh man it's not even funny how hard some of the last few levels were.

From Expert mode you have to beat the original 50 levels, and then 10 more in Expert Extra, all without using a continue.  This unlocks Master mode.  Master is only 10 levels, and Master Extra is 10 more.  But let me tell you... when they say MASTER they MEAN IT.

For example let's take the final level in the game...  Master Extra level 10.  The level is called "Nintendo".  The surface you play on is a gamecube.  Fully rendered, fully detailed.  All the screws, holes, stickers, and grooves are present.  Now you have to stay on it as it rotates.  It rotates 5 times starting from the bottom to the sides, and around to the top.  You can easily get stuck in the grooves if you were wondering.  When you're on the top you have a few seconds before the lid opens and the goal pops out for you to shoot it. If I made this sound easy...  I could add in the amount of frustration I spent on this level for you.  I almost busted my controller when I got mad [:I]

But now that I beat it I'm still not done playing.  I'm setting new high scores in the mini-games and everything.  Maybe when I get bored of that I'll go finish the last level in Bond.  Then maybe to Sonic.

Oh yea... I'm looking into buying Animal Crossing.  The game that plays while you're not on it [|)]  Only 25-30 bucks!

YAY for triple posts!

Nobody's talking anymore.  It's very irritating.

Last Saturday my friend and I traded systems.  I got his PS2, and he got my GCN.  I only wanted it for Kingdom Hearts, of course.

And so I was playing that for a week.  Now I'm not... because I finished it.  Yea I completely completed Kingdom Hearts within a week [B)]  I even got the Special Secret bonus at the end.  Funyuns.

Now I want my GCN back [|)]  And I want someone else to SAY SOMETHING!

I'm a gamer. I did have a PS1 and N64 but now I just have a GC, no other next-gen consoles. It has enough games to keep me occupied. I used to like RPGs, I had all the Playstation Final Fantasies, but now I don't play many RPGs, except some GBA ones. They don't take much skill to beat, you just fight and fight and fight, using menus, and at the end it's like "I spent hours of my life levelling! I'm incredible!" Not much into levelling games now. Right now I'm into Viewtiful Joe and F-Zero GX. Both amazing games. And hard. I found Soul Calibur 2 disappointing, considered selling it but decided not to eventually. It's just the same thing really, the game is completed way too quickly and there's no incentive to play it again. Got F-Zero on friday but haven't had much chance to play it, everyone's always watching TV and I can't have the GC in my room until my brother has got bored of F-Zero, because it's a shared game.

battousai the man slayer

what was the secret bonus ending and i have ps1&2 n64 and gc and i am a gamer

Squeek

batty - I can't just "tell" you the ending, it's much too complex for that.  The secret ending takes place in the future of the world of Kingdom Hearts.  The characters are unknown at this point.  Stuff happens.  Watch it yourself.

Speaking of which... I beat it then, yes, but I had left out a few things that were much too hard at the time.  After a few more days with the game I have it 100% completed.  I have the best weapons for all characters, I'm at level 100, I have all the dalmations, and even the Big 4 has felt my wrath.  If you didn't know, the big 4 are:

Phantom - A phantom.  He chills around the clock tower (big ben) and uses this clock as a device to kill one of your teammates until the end of battle.  You can't just hit him with physical attacks, you have to use the corresponding magic with the color of his orb.  It sucks.

Kurt Zisa - A robot in the desert.  He has 6 swords and 2 arms.  Odd.  He uses these swords way too much... like becoming a disc (vertical AND horizontal) and spinning after you, which really hurts.  He has two forms: Magical prevention and Physical prevention, which means in one mode you can't use magic, and the other you can't hit him without magic.

Ice Titan - A titan, made of ICE!  He's featured in "Hercules" if you saw it.  He has ice-based attacks like freezing and missles (icicles).  Well, since he's about 200 feet tall, you have to actually deflect the missles back at him while dodging 50 other attacks. Funyuns.

SEPHIROTH - It's freakin sephiroth.  Sephiroth, from FFVII.  The dude with one wing.  He sucks to fight against.  He uses a 5-foot long masamune and his dirty little tricks, like teleporting behind you and slicing you up.  He (OF COURSE) has to have an attack that will rid you of all your magic and leaves you with 1 hp.  And OBVIOUSLY he has to have a multiple slash attack that is near impossible to avoid.  And surely you know he has a meteor attack where he is invunerable and you feel pain!

I beat him 3 times now.

Kingdom Hearts, 100%  Add it to the list.

battousai the man slayer

is the secret ending where u see them running down a path cuz pluto has a letter w/ the kins sea on it

Bob251

Nooo, that would be the normal ending.  It's not really a second ending, but more of a preview of the next game.

battousai the man slayer

srp about the speling errors damn i have to get that game when it comes out. i cant wait till mgs3 snake eater comes out soon and mgs twin snakes 4 gamecube comes out[:D]

ThE_MaStEr_Of_PuPpEtS

I play Diablo 2 LOD and Counter Strike. They both are awesome games. If you enjoy medevil questing games you should get Diablo 2 LOD. If you enjoy gun games with terrorists and counter terrorists download steam.
www.steampowered.com   for Counter Strike.
Go to store that sells games for Diabl 2 LOD

I know it's a bit sophmoric, but I love games and I wanted to revive this post by stating my deep dissapointment that Halo 2's release date has been delayed yet again and will not be released until fall of this year...Fans of the FSP genre still have Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 coming up, both of which will redefine the genre in their own way.

Wow, thanks for bringing this topic back to the front!  I missed it.

I beat all my games with the excessive amount of time I have to play them.  So I ended up buying several more.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (PC)

I'm working on this one...  It's actually pretty hard.

Animal Crossing

Paid off all debt and currently working on a 100,000 HRA house.  It's at 45,000. My 2nd floor consists of all nostalgic mario items and all the NES games you can have.

Super Monkey Ball

The original one.  I finished it already.  I only bought it because it was 20 bucks and I wanted Mini Golf.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!

Finished it in a week.  Waay too easy, and way to fun with 3 friends to play battle mode with.

Crazy Taxi

Beat it in 2 days.  I even got 1st place in arcade mode, with a license of "AWESOME". So the order is E, D, C, B, A, AWESOME.  Wow.

SONIC HEROES!!!!!

Sonic Heroes RULED.  I say ruled because I beat it in 10 days...  But it was amazing.  I have screenies for those who suck and don't own it. (Whee.)

I still haven't even tried to play Metroid Prime.  It's just so darn hard.  Maybe when I beat all my other stuff.  I finally finished Mario Party 4's Beach Folly Volley, so that's taken care of... I have 288 trophies now in Melee, only 2 more, and I just don't care... Wind Waker is 100% completely done.  My 5-year old cousin erased my Sonic Adventure 2: Battle files (even the backup file I had) so I had to start that all over. [xx(]

Let's just do screenshots.

Team Sonic

Team Dark

Team Rose

Team Chaotix

Level 2.

Hehe, the cart is pretty sweet...  It's all like, sonic and knuckles are the wheels (Sonic is back, Knuckles is front to bust through stuff) and Tails steers & helps the cart jump. You use the cart like 3 times in the whole game, for about 10 seconds each time. How crazy.  HOW VERY CRAZY.

~Squeek (Buy Sonic Heroes)

PeacefulWarrior

Yeah...I am seriously considering renting Sonic Heroes.  I have read some good critical reviews of the game.  I wish I had 1) more time 2) a gamecube.  I would definetly purchase a gamecube before I would purchase a PS2.  It's too bad the Gamecube doesn't get more respect because it really is a great machine and there are quite a few good titles.  I think the PS2 is amazing too, but it's overrated.  The Xbox and Gamecube are simply bettermachines because they are newer.

I am interested to see what Nintendo's next HandHeld is going to be like, did you hear that it has 2 screens?  Check it out on the web.  Just go to google.com/news and search "Nintendo handheld news"

I actually did hear about the new Gameboy thing, and I seriously cannot think of a worse idea for a handheld.. It just sounds so dumb.  But, if they want to do it, let them.

Also, Sonic Heroes came out for all 3 systems.  I don't entirely know WHY, but it did.

More platforms leads to a larger audience which leads to (possibly) more profit.

Anyone here play FFXI?

video games are like..my life...its so sad 0_o heh-- ever since my dad gave me my first gameboy when i was 4 i got addicted. expetually DDR--does anyone else play ddr (dance dance revolution)? its so much fun...i can finally play heavy mode ^_^ but yeah-- other favorites.. ssbm, soul calabur, mario kart, pretty much any mmorpg (UT, UO, earth and beyond,), neverwinter nights, of course the originals (super mario..tetris) wheee the list could go on forever ^_^ im so wierd for a girl...

Ooh, DDR is the best game I have ever seen [|)].  I only played twice so far, once when I had no idea what was happening, and once after I loved the game more and more.  The second time though, it was on a pad that wasn't secure at all [:(].  I'm going to Busch Gardens this summer and spending an exorbitant amount of money on the DDR machine there.  My friend just got a game similar to DDR called Frequency.  It was like 12 bucks. It's for Ps2 only, but it's so very cool if you like DDR.  The concept is to create music by playing notes on individual instruments.. It's basically like playing notes on a huge 3-d octagonal music sheet...like so.

As you can see, you can use the L1, R1, and R2, or the Square, Triangle, Circle buttons to hit the gems.

Otherwise, my gaming has seriously decreased.  There aren't any console games I really want to have right now (Waiting for DDR for Gamecube), and PC games are not my style.  Soo, I downloaded "Stepmania", a take-off from the classic DDR games.  It's basically the same thing, but you use fingers instead of feet.  I'm getting really really good; like good enough that I can AAA rank Heavy songs and beat ONI difficulty songs. (//www.stepmania.com)  You need songs/stepfiles downloaded to play them, and those are found here: //www.bemanistyle.com.  (Bemani is down for a few weeks...the owner took a vacation.)

Also, I beat practically every song on this Flash version of DDR (//www.flashflashrevolution.com).  I'm MreSqueek there... just wait until I'm in the Top 50! [|)][|)].

Also, mazdaaf, I see that you like Naruto... You gonna get any of the games?  There's already one each for GBA and Gamecube, and by the end of the year there should be another for each.  Personally, I'm not to big in the Cel-Shaded 2-d fighter games, but if the price is right, I'll buy it.  I already beat the Naruto GBA game... not worth the download. (Cough).

I'm a gamer too.

I love my Xbox.

currently playing Otogi- Myth of Demons.

great game.

I'm also playing Rainbow Six 3 for Xbox. I love playing this on Xbox live.

My gamertag is Shedt

Currently looking forward too Halo 2 (duh!) Doom 3, Half-Life 2 and Ninja Gaiden which is right around the corner.

and Fable ! :D

SpectralDragon

Wow, I love Video games, but lately I have been simply waiting for a good game with good story to come out. Final Fantasy VII was one of my fav RPG's Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger are also one of my favs. Silent Hill 3 was scary as H*** when I played it.

Kingdom hearts (wow I loved the seph fight) was awesome as well. I cannot wait for part 2 coming soon.

Probably up along with the SquareEnix games (FF and CT) is Xenosaga. That game is a really in-depth story RPG with awesome graphics. The voices seemed a bit odd to me but you get over that and the sequel (this will eventually have 9 parts) is supposed to be better when it comes out.

Well, once again I spoke before I knew anything of the game.  Not only will I buy this game, but I will tell you how awesome it looks.  This works much better if you know about the fights on the show.

First, it ain't 2-d.  Second, it's FOUR PLAYER.  Third, the Cel-Shading makes it look better.  Here's the keypoints I noticed in the videos I got from IGN.

1 - Kawarimi is awesome.  Basically, during the opponents combo, you can pull off a Kawarimi.  You go POOF and there's a log there, and you're dashing in from behind them!  WHOO!

2 - There is no cheap move.  There is a way to dodge ANYTHING.  If you're in the air, you can still do something, unlike other fighting games where an aired up opponent can be juggled forever.

3 - Shikamaru is in it.  That alone makes it worth the 60 bucks you need to buy and have it shipped to your house, as they don't think it will get any support here in the US.

4 - It's a NINJA FIGHTING GAME.  Ninjas.  Ninjas rule.  You don't have these crappy Cat-People like in Tekken, or Possessed Warriors with big swords like in Soul Calibur ([:(] Nightmare was so cool... as was Kilik), you have a bunch of ninjas!  With Kunai and Shuriken and such!  WHOA!

http://media.cube.ign.com/media/614/614639/vids_1.html

Overall, this game looks awesome.  Problems: Neither of the videos has Lee or Shikamaru win.  [:(]  Those two are the best, and they both lose.  Waah.

Ah, you misread my post.  In the videos at the link I provided, they have Lee and Shikamaru more than once, but they never WIN their fights.  Lee loses to Gaara and Kiba, and Shikamaru loses to Ino and Naruto.

Also, I checked out the link you provided.. I may have to check out the game later...after all my "work" [;)]

I'm not going to admit to being a gamer anymore, even though most of my free time is taken up with the most annoying thing ever designed by Korea! http://www.gunbound.net

The good thing about it is it's FREE and it's also one of the best concepts to ever come off of the original "gorilla.bas" or Worms type of games. The bad part is playing in the USA and connecting to an already bursting at the seams Korean server can cause major lag and downtime sometimes, thereby adding hatred to latency issues.

On the other hand I still do have my EQ account, but I don't use it because I get that wrenching feeling in my stomach to even think about logging on. When my stomach hates something, I usually do too.

As for consoles, and fighting games, Naruto sounds fun. I'm still partial to Tekken, even though it has the animal people (My Ling can kick your Lee's butt!). Also I own SC2, but I don't feel a burning need to beat it. I'm praying that the computer industry will revive this genre and add to it. I'd buy the first pc-based game like this to hit shelves whether or not it's good.

Lastly, racing games. Has anyone tried Project Gotham Racing 2 for X-Box? I'm in love with it's physics engine, but I don't play much anymore (however, there's always something to do if you have a Live account). I'd say it's one of the most expansive game to date (not car wise...no upgrades or modifications available to anything, but oh well). Another title that I used to play too much of is Burnout 2. I have that game 100%ed, and would continue to play if they had more to it. Also, anyone play NFS:Underground? Anyone hear any news regarding the WipeOut series?

There's my gaming habits for you [;)]

Well, generally in those types of games, you don't really have a goal other than to be the best (skill or rank), have the best gear, or have ALL of the gear. My goal is to simply become a wand rank with my technique, and at the rate I'm going I have about another month before I get that. As for free time, I find this to be more entertaining specifically because it's fun to do what I'm doing, and it requires a crap load of skill (which I do seem to get better with every single day). Ok, well I'm gonna go see the movie  "Big Fish" now because I liked the trailer (this movie looks like something you would experience in a dream where the realism goes haywire...). If this movie was crap, sorry I didn't hear much about it, but I'll provide a review here when I get done...out!
