I was reading an article on near death experiences and it was mentioned that it is possible that even after all magnetic activity is gone in the brain, that consciousness can still be retained. Does anyone know anything about this.
It is from an orthodox points of view BTW, which I do not support.
I've read papers which claim there can be some electrical activity in the deep brain for quite some time after death (Weeks). But I've not been able to find any more information on this.
