the future

The only thing I know that the future holds is change. Nothing stays the same, change is constant. It is up to you to influence change to something you like, otherwise it is likely it will change to something you do not like.

That is really a relative term. What is advanced to one person may not be to another. You seem to indicate that you mean technologically advanced. I think we will continue to advance in this area, but I doubt we will ever be flying around in our own personal vehicles. Not so much that I think we will never reach such technology but because I think it will be too dangerous. I mean alot of people cannot even drive cars very well, can you imagine them trying to fly?? I do hope that we can create more effiecent cars that do not pollute.

Advanced to me means more of a spiritual advancement. We can have all the technology to make our lives "perfect" (I do not think that such a thing is possible because perfection does not come from technology, but anyway) but it is meaningless if we are not spiritually advanced, because we will never be happy until we can look beyond materialism. Advanced to me would be that we no longer have to worry about health care, money when we retire, or money in general. Advanced to me would be when leaders no longer give tax cuts to the rich while cutting health care from the public and poor. Advanced means putting the public's well being before special interest groups. Will we ever advance in such a way? I do not know, but I think that if we do not then things will only get worse leading to hard times in the future.

Note: When I say spiritually advanced I am talking about looking beyond materialism and money and caring for humanity, nature, envvironment, and just trying to make the world a better place instead of just trying to make yourself richer. It does not necessarily mean "finding or seeking god".

I see World War III coming up... it has already started in the middle east.... I see very soon a war with Syria and Israel... a mess up in Irak... a situation in the middle east that gets out of control... maybe even the use of an atomic bomb there... I see more terrorism around the world... and more polarization in the world... I do not sens anything really good to come... Even the bible anounces some apocalyptic time... it is at the door and someone just opened it...

hello everyone, just wondering about the future. what do you think it will be like? do you think we will become more advanced and make hover cars and have teleportation devices? that would be cool. i have always hoped for a better future and more advanced one. like maybe getting this knowledge thing and puting it on my head and getting all the knowledge i need. that would be great! so what do u think?
