Thanks for the post atalanta. I tend to agree that Randi will most likely weasal out of ever paying that challenge. It's true, no matter how accurate a person's psychic talents may be, Randi will argue with the results. He seems like a person who would be skeptical of his own shadow.

I always thought beavis should take up this challenge, with his telekinesis abilities.

Why not have an impartial judge to check all the things. I beleive companies who looks above lottery games could be hired to make a report that everything was made so no cheating could be involved.
This way, if Robinson fails, he has no excuses.
If he suceeds, Randi can say he cheated how he likes, but a form will have been signed by both parties to testify they would not cheat and did not beleive in a way the test could be cheated.

It may be a lot of bureaucracy, but it's what seems to be needed to prevent some serious arguing.

That sounds like the most sensible approach Louis.
As long as Randi is running this show, nobody will win. He's a master at illusion, which means that he's bound to think up some convincing way that somebody could be faking the test, whether they are or not.

It does seem ridiculous to me to do the test at all, since, if Chris is exceptional, Randi will twist it around and if Chris is hopeless, 'our' side will claim that Randi was the reason for the failure.  It seems like an absolute waste of time for both sides, in terms of validation but for Randi no matter what the outcome he will because he has set it up like that.

Hi,

I have heard that Chris Robinson is considering taking Randi up on his $1 million dollar offer.  Too bad Randi doesn't want to take up Victor Zammit's million dollar offer.

I don't know him but I found out about this through Victor Zammit's site www.victorzammit.com.  Victor has warned him against it as he believes the offer is not only biased but it has been done in a way so no matter how brilliantly accurate he is, Randi will get out of it.  Something to do with the legality of the contract.

I thought some people here might be interested.
