My early memories are scrambled, back I think that around 1984 or 1985 there was a record I listened to a few times about someone named peter and his interaction with a wolf. It has soft portions. I'm fairly sure the whole thing is instrumental. Maybe someone else remembers?

I would definitely suggest looking into Aphex Twin and Radiohead. Aphex Twin is one man who writes the most bizarre music, some of which might inspire you if it hits you the right way. His style is extremely broad so I suggest listening to a wide range of his works. He's a busy little bee, writes about 7 CDs of music a year. Not all of them make it into the stores. Radiohead is a sort of art-rock band. Both of these bands are way out there so if you ever run out of inspiration, these guys might open up a whole new area for you.

I think Prokofiev wrote something called "peter and the wolf".

The musical conciousness is mind beneath the sun.

Im writing a fairly long story and to do this I need inspiration. What I usually do is write while listening to the music and the moods the song gives off often make it into my stories. Due to the nature of this book I need songs that are somewhat soft but tense and perhaps slow too. It would also be nice if there were no words in it at all(not that important).

To get an idea of what im looking for:

Phillip Glass- Facades
David Lanz- Christophori's Dream
Godfather Finale- Nino Rota?

This my seem like a strange request but I celebrate my unusual nature so if anyone has any personal favorites, please tell.

Also if anyone has information about a certain orphanage in the states that burned down recently(stories true or fiction, really doesn't matter) I would be most pleased. It's called St. Elizabeths. Here some pictures:

A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken:
The crownless again shall be king.
