I also love to eat outrageously hot chile. People think im crazy.
Nice topic! Ok I'm 20, I go to school and work for Circuit City. I love to play video games(typical male) like wolfenstien ET version. My majors in school are Computer Science and Spanish. I want to move to mexico for at least a year and study there so I can become fluent in spanish. I like spicey foods also, however, I hate the heart burn that happens occasionaly [:)]

I like getting to know everyone better too.
Here are a few things about myself:
1. I am the oldest of 4 children and I am the only boy.
2. I got married about a year ago.
3. I am substitute teacher and am going to school. I am an English major and I will finish soon. I am applying to grad school in a few months.
4. I love to make people laugh.
5. I too love video games (multiplayer Halo mostly)
6. I LOVE to go fishing!
Some thing you probably don't know about me? Suuure.
1. I am a senior in high school...who never does his homework at home.
2. I am going to major in Computer Science as well...this year I am taking 4 computer classes.
3. I have no plans after high school. At all. I haven't picked out a college (I haven't even looked).
4. According to the average of a few internet IQ tests I've taken, I have it at 162 now.
5. I have a pet peeve... People that use the common-day internet languages in excess. I...HATE it when people use "U, R, B, 2, 4" instead of words.
6. I collect stuffed animals and fountains (water goes from the top to the bottom and recirculates)
Well there's me. Weird aren't I.
~Squeek
PS - I hate hot foods :)
1)The oldest of three kids and I am a freshman...in highschool, gee it blows to be on the bottom of the chain again.
2)I love pizza. [:P]
3)Have a strange obsession with storms.
4)Love to Read [:D]
I'm a real PC game junkie - 1st person shooters and adventure games mainy. I build and configure Unix and Win2k servers for a living, so I guess both my work and leisure revolve around computers a lot.
I adore going for long walks along a beach late in the afternoon, and I also love sitting atop a high rocky hill or mountain underneath a grey sky with a strong wind blowing.
I don't have a fear of heights, but I have a fear of falling.
I've not yet travelled outside my country, though I hope to visit my sister in New Jersey next year.
[:)]
James.
cottage cheese makes me gag.
I once travelled around the country in a greyhound once with a one month bus pass. I dont think I could take the greyhound now even to go to the next city. [xx(]
new to the internet and this site.
32, married 1 year, no kids, yet.
youngest of 3, only girl.
lived and worked in mexico for about 2 years.
just moved here to Japan,Okinawa.
love indian food, thai, etc.
had an atari when they first came out.
spent 3 months in new zealand 101 way to survive on the end of a rope, in the snow, under ground, atop various mountains...
meditated on a pyramid in the jungles of a southerly country that i can't remember the name of at the moment.(remnance of amnesia from an accident)I highly suggest you try this sometime! A.
Ok, I geuss I can post something here. Let's see.
1. I'm a bit of a lurker on message boards. I look at the board and post very little. I've been here for about a year and haven't reached 30 posts.
2. Youngest of four brothers.
3. Senior in high school. Taking dual-credit (get high school AND college credit at the same time.) Currently working as slave labor for Wal-Mart. [:D]
4. Hard-core gamer. Well, depends on one's definition of "hard-core". Been playing since I was three (currently 17). Currently play First-Person Shooters (THEY BELONG ON A PC; NOT A CONSOLE), RPG's, some action games, and DDR. Much fun.
5. Pet Peeve: Stupidity. And pointless conversation. The kind where you're walking your dog and someone asks "Walking the dog?" .......yeah.
6. Watch the Simpsons and Monty Python heavily. It's difficult to talk to me for at least a week without hearing me quote Simpsons. And I can almost recite entire scenes from Monty Python. Sad, no?
7. Something will eventually be here.
I LOVE MONTY PYTHON!!!! My friend and I recite a lot of scenes from search for the holy grail, great movie, watch it if you haven't! I'm mostly british, but born here in america, my grandmother is 100% british. I have a dry, but sometimes funny, sense of humor.
Hi All,
I'm a divorced sole-parent, who is loving the freedom to be me and who doesn't really remember how I got to be 43 in such a hurry !!
Am a little concerned that I don't hear or read anything that I don't already know, someone please help me!! Am ready for the transformation that is occuring in me, Yeehar. Am not ready for my daughter to develope physically at her young age.
I love hot and spicy foods even if they do make your bum burn the next day. Don't care anymore if no one listens to me coz it's okay not to. Do love to laugh. Don't really look forward to listening to the ignorant even though I know they have a story that I might learn from.
I think it is hilarious when people say they are 'spiritual' like it is not our natural state. Pet peev is spiritually orientated people who beleive that they know it all and 'are there', wherever that is! And who have either forgotten or didn't know that every person is our teacher. Other than that I just be what I am and do not care what people think of me anymore, because hay, it doesn't really matter.
"Smile and the world may not smile with you, so that would be their loss."
Love always.[:)]
Nice topic!

I am 27 years old. I have a fiancee, and i will marry in 6 months... I am a java programmer. I studied Electronics Engineering at school. I love to play chess. I play guitar. I love computer games. Adventure games especially. My favorite rock band is 'Dream Theater'...
.
.
One of the best times of my life was when I went to japan with "volunteers for peace" which btw is a very good, relatively cheap way to see any country. You pay about 200 bucks for three weeks room and board. You pay your own travel expenses.
Anyway did this on a farm and "cheese factory" for about a month. It was also a community for mentally disabled japanese adults. The people I met were amazing and I wish I could have that much fun now a days. Though I probably can... if I try.
great topic !
I worked on a carribean cruise ship, and met people from every country you can imagine by drinking and playing soccer with them...
I've just started to play golf, its great....it looks so easy, yet...it isn't !
I once stayed the night at Polho, a Mayan refugee camp in south Mexico, to watch a fiesta. There were hundreds of young kids there and I didn't see a single one crying.
10 things you don't know about me.
1) Oldest of 4 children. I am the only male.
2) I have a daughter who will be 2 in November. It is amazing what having your own children can teach you.
3) My birthday is also in November, at which time I will be 26.
4) I am single.
5) I do not care for large crowds.
6) I love nature and being out in it.
7) I like to play video games.
8) I am a drafter/cad operator/whatever other names they may wish to call it.
9) Brian Lumley is my favorite fiction writer.
10) I should be working right now.
My turn...
I'm 16 years old. When i was 5 i moved to western australia for two years, i stayed in a community where my sister and i were the only white kids in the whole town. that was one of the greatest experiences as it openned my mind at such a young age. my parents seperated while we were up there so i moved back to melbourne with my mum and sister.
i had some rough times at school but i always seemed to make it through... but in the last couple of years ive been failing alot at school... year before last, first semester, i failed 6 out of 8 subjects and slowly getting better... but my school kept letting me pass the year and put me in the highest maths and english classes (not the brightest teachers as you may have guessed since i havnt passed maths since year 8 and last year (yr10) they put my in general maths (yr11 maths))
at the start of this year my mum, sister and i went to LA in the US... and my sister went on to texas and my mum and i went on to canada, then england and scotland, where my sister met back up with us, then my mum came home, my sister stayed on in england and i went onto japan and stayed there 2 days before meeting up with my school and toured with them...
im taking the rest of the year off and plan to go back to the same school next year (i plan to actually do at least the bare minimum amount of work to pass).
ive also done some karate and starting kung fu in two weeks.
thats my life in a nut shell.
I took kung fu when i was younger, I loved it, really fun, want to start again but no one teaches it here :(
Timeless, I'm also old enough to stop counting or telling my age! I'm divorced, re-partnered, and have an 11-year-old daughter who looks a lot like ME. [:D]
When I was young I wanted to do social work on Indian reservations, and that's what I went to college to do. That's when we called them Indian reservations. Nowadays, it's "Native American." Whatever. Anyway, when I graduated I couldn't get a job in the Native American communities because I had blonde hair and white skin. "I'd love to hire you but you're white," they said. So I became a Department of Defense bureaucrat instead.
I used to moonlight as a bellydancer (nightclubs, stagework in Atlantic City and New York, even TV). I quit about 4 years ago when it stopped being fun.
I love public television and National Public Radio. I also love all forms of English humor.
Hmmm, if any of you know much about astrology, I've been told I have a high "burn" rate due to some planetary positions. What it basically means is that I "transform" myself often. And it's true. I could go on and on but will keep it simple.
1)Most important and probably shocking to this community, I'm a law enforcement officer. Have been for 10 years.
2)Currently, I'm assigned to a government task force in computer forensics. Think of it as performing an autopsy on a computer to gather evidence of crime. 40% of our work load is child pornography.
3)I've been married for 7 years, together with the same man for almost 11 years. He is very earthbound and we compliment each other nicely. First man I ever met who appreciated me for who I am. Nutiness and all.
4)I have 2 daughers, 4 and 6 and am in a constant battle with school over my oldest. She is very much a free spirit.
5)Least important, I'm 34 and tall for a woman, almost 6'.:)

OMG, Tisha, do you still work for the DOD?
Hello,
I'm in eighth grade, make my computer games in blitz basic 3D (or would if I had any 3D models). I play trumpet.
#1 annoyance: In video games, whoever doesn't wear a shirt (males mostly) becomes tough. I love beatin' the ******* **** out of them.
yup, still do.
Hehe, another thing you all don't know about me... Is that I cannot show myself. It's the one thing that pesters me all the time...when people want to see what I look'a like. I tinkle alot of people off when I start saying that I physically cannot tell them. Just a head's up if anyone is wondering.
Another thing... I'm in love with this website :) Currently, in online users... -->
Squeek Active Users 31 August 2003 01:16:11 270 Minutes
That's almost 5 hours... and I intend to hit 300. Man... I have nothing better to do anymore :)
~Squeek (I can't wait for school.)
5 things you probably didn't know about me that don't really matter anyway.
1) I love all kinds of tea, and if I had an infinite supply, I would keep drinking it until I either busted or died of starvation. I'm almost always thirsty. Love gas stations. [;)]
2) I think Adult Swim on Cartoon Network owns for the most part.. Space Ghost, Brak, Sealab.. [:D]
3) I am a huge fan of Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Mussorgsky, and I'm constantly listening to one of their works.
4) I live near the Blue Ridge Parkway/Appalachian trail and I completely love it.. It's so beautiful up here.. especially in fall.
5) My avator is the symbol for the Chronos/Saturn. Its importance is that it's also known as the Blue Oyster Cult logo/medallion/etc. The old Blue Oyster Cult lineup was actually God itself, believe it or not. Feel free to worship them.
1. I am a huge digital media/encoding and anime geek in addition to metaphysics and I frequent doom9 (//forum.doom9.org), amv (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpbb/), and astralpulse equally.

I can assure ya'll that I'm just a guy. 17. I don't act it? GOOD!
~Squeek
I use college for its resources to further educate myself on the things I want to learn about, not for the 'education' it gives from its classes.
Tenacious- Good kung fu teachers are hard to find. I just happened to find mine because he happened to be practicing at a time when I just happened to be walking by. He is REALLY good. I bet you can and will find a good one. It's good stuff. We are trying to expand our network all over the world and all over each country so that everyone has the opportunity.
No_Leaf_clover-
Wow! you live so close to me! If your in NC and not TN or GA or VA. I live due west of you in a great place called..what is this place? Oh yeah! Jamestown! Go tigers... Anywho, went hiking on stone mountain not too long ago. Almost died though, forgot the water [:D]
EnderWiggin- When you expand to NC, let me know! I will definitly join and pay good money to be taught again! It is one of the best practices I did as a child, then I got corrupted [;)]

I was born on Jan 21 1978 at 5pm EST.
I'm a recovering negative who learned that 2 two negative actions don't create a positive one.
I'm a single, sad and lonely guy who works to hard for too little.
I like to think that I have a pretty good understanding of why people need a bonk on their collective heads.
And I think all this flaming back and forth on the site only serves to show peoples ignorance and lack of understanding.
Hehe... My turn. ^.^
1) I love death/black metal. But I'm no satanist. And yes I'm a girl. ^.^
2) I love, and when I say love I mean really *love*, pizza.
3) I love games. Espcially Legend of Zelda (duh [:P]).
4) I sacked my exams. All my friends have passed, except me.
5) I'm horrible at maths, science and physics. But I love those subjects. Though I never do my homework.
6) My sister absolutely rules in remote viewing and precognition. She keeps beating me with cardgames. *cries*
Good topic here.
I'm a metalhead too. I love death metal, black metal, doom metal, thrash metal, and any other metal there is! I've also been playing guitar for nearly 4 years and i kick butt! [:D]
Many of us know eachother's handle but dont know much about the person behind the handle. Thought it would be sort of fun to tell at least one thing no one here knows about you. It can be anything..
one of mine...
Im hoping to be able to move to Japan someday to live and work. hopefully some time in the near future.
