Boom

Hi all,

I dont particularly believe this may be astral related as such. But wanted to share with you anyway, and wondering if anyone had ever had any similar things.   I was laid in bed last night having just come off a skype call. Shut my laptop down, and I could hear the sound of a radio playing music very faintly in my ears. It sounded like I'd left the tv on in another room.  It was like, you could hear the music and I'm sure I even heard a DJ voice talking at some point as well. But I couldnt identify what it was as it was just too quiet.  It sounded like it was from outside the room I was in. Either at the other side of teh house or even outside the house. Maybe someone outside with a radio playing.

The minute I got up, and opened the door I couldn't hear it anymore, it had gone.  There was definately nothing left switched on!  Went back to my room and i could hear it again!  I turned the fan off to see if i could hear it clearer. And the room was then utterly silent. My ears started ringing with the silence and I couldnt hear it anymore. Fan back on.. the faint music sounds are back!

Incredible phenomenon!. I could only put it down to perhaps the coils in the motor of the fan somehow picking up local radio and with the fan blowing the air around the room somehow projecting out these signals and giving this strange effect.

Anyone else had this?

well...radio waves are non-physical... there are people who can hear them, or interrupt them... maybe something about that fan, like elecricity waves or something, made you able to hear it...?

Could have been your imagination.

Could have been picking up the radio somehow.

Could have been remote viewing(hearing) a place where the radio was on.

Could have been a memory.

Could have been psychicly connected to someone who was listening/imagining/remembering the radio.

You could have developed super hearing(I've heard of that related to kundalini awakening).

You could have been starting to phase into a non-physical environment with a radio in it.

You could be a radio transmission dreaming its a person called boom and your starting to become aware of your true self the radio transmission.

Ok I'm going to stop coming up with ideas now lol.

To answer you question, yes I have had the same sort of thing in the half-sleep state.

Boom

Thanks blis :) That explains it.
I wasnt half asleep when hearing it. I have heared noises whilst half asleep/ half awake. But those noises were inside my head. This sound was outside of the room or house :)

Personally I think physics can explain this one :)

I remember reading a story about some toasters that were made in the 50's that would unintentionally act as a radio receiver and in some towns would pick up a local radio station if you listened real close. Here's a similar thread on a physics forum:

years ago i was in a pre oobe state and actually noticed that i could hear radio static. As my vibrational rate increased so did the radio frequency. This was interesting because it sounded like someone slowing turning the dial on radio. I noticed that I was more interested in what I was hearing rather than actually having an out of body experience. At one point I could hear old country music, at another a talk show, you get the idea. It sounded very much like AM stations.

Hi,
This is rare, but not uncommon. The electronics required at the basic level only requires three parts. No need for a battery or power, look up crystal set radio. There is more interference with local radio stations in most electronic devices and this is normally removed by design but only up to a certain level. If you exceed this then the possibility of 'hello radio' becomes reality.
During the world wars some made radios from wire, magnets and a piece of coal.
Don't worry, your washing machine will never turn into a television set....... Unless You've drank too much......
There's far more where the eye can't see.

I have definitely experienced that, Szaxx.

I had a "magical" set of stereo speakers, that even whilst off and unplugged, would pick up frequencies from police radios, and randomly start to play them in quite a ghostly way; it did not require a power-source of any kind, the energy of the radio-waves themselves seemed to be enough to activate the effect rather loudly.

I swear I heard the police talking about a "guy who has a pipe" at one startling point, lol.

I had a really old zenith TV that once picked up police radio. I heard them say the name of the street I lived on. I also had an old yet very nice Onkyo pre-amp that I quit using because it would pick up an amateur ham radio guy who called himself "TopGun". And all he talked about was his radio set-up.
