Yesterday night I tried to search for "Lucid" in the android market on my phone, and I found an application named "Sleep Check Reminder" that was free, I downloaded it and right now I enabled it and going to try it out.
I can choose my time when its gonna start and when its gonna stop. I made 7am to 9pm.
Then I can if I want it to remember me in random times, 1-30 times is able to choose. OR if I want to make it remember me every 1-120 minute(s).
So well, I got it on 7am - 9pm and each 10 minute it will make some sound and a window popup with reality check tips, example "Can you read a sentence twice without it changing?".
Anyway, I haven't done that many reality checks daily, I forgot them pretty easily.
So in a whole day I have done maybe 1-8 reality checks.
But about how much reality checks are you doing daily? Have it become an habit for you?
Well I did one when I read this. Haha. I don't really keep track, probably about 10 times per day, just whenever I randomly think about it. I should probably do it more, and more sincerely, because I don't lucid dream nearly as frequently as I'd like to. I think frequent reality checks and constantly practicing mindfulness are the best ways to induce lucid dreams.
When I was starting out I used to set my watch to beep on the hour to remind me.
Nowadays I only occasionally do reality checks when I'm not sure if I'm really in the physical.
lol, what people would think if they knew I was trying to fly when i spring up onto my toes.
