The flawed idea that religion, science, and everyday life can be kept separate

Many people want you to separate religion from your dealings in everyday life like who you hire for a job or how you design a bridge or how information flows in a computer network.

But if something is real it cant be separated from reality. To ask it be separated is to claim it isnt real. Its like saying to make sure you believe 2+2=5 while doing these bridge support calculations.

Religion isn't "real".  That's the point.  Nothing found OUTSIDE of yourself is "real". 

(using the term "real"... in a relative manner, if that makes any sense)

It's because religion gets in the way for a lot of people. Religion is one of those things that just isn't for everyone.

This isn't a religious forum.  There is nothing religious about projection.

Science isn't the results of tests. It's moreover a process.

Here is the google definition of Science - it's the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

In other words science the the process of systematic experimentation. Don't confuse religion with science. Science is much more systematic in discovering the truth. Scientists can change based on new truths whereas religion can't change. There is no process by which at least the Abrahamic religions can change. That is why there is a ceiling affect for the Abrahamic religions.

Edit in fact the bible says that nobody can add to this book.

I think what you mean to say beavis is that science is the process which grows hypothesis's into theories, then theories into laws. Don't confuse hypothesis's or theories with religion.

This forum is more new age or spiritual , for lack of a better term .  If people are telling to seperate your beliefs from your acctions , you may be hanging out with the wrong people .  Astral projection is not really axcepted in the western churches , there are a few Chirstain forums that do discuss it tho . Its part of some of the eastern ones tho . A Morman lady I know surpised me by talking about a.p. and past lives .  A.P. and reincarnation are not realy part of the Morman belief system tho.
