Yep, I thought of that, too.  Also, "Astral Dynamics" has a short section on people who get stuck on something (a word, commercial jingle, etc.) and it impedes their progress because they can't concentrate properly.

I have known people who've created musical sigils, so the idea does have precedent.

i'm familiar with memetics, i use thoughtforms, what meant was reversing the process and using the mems as way of remote influencing large numbers of people, accessing their energy, using collective enrgy of mem and such

to put into practical example, you can access the mem of bush campaign and reverse the effect changing it's core pattern, or just use the energy to your own guerilla mems ;P
we're talking media here, and anyone with sufficient knowledge can do it, alter commercial mems into love ones and such

since i tend to be completly stucked with songs in my head, or fall every now and then in vicious cycle (i'm listening to 2 songs from 2 days all day), i think that:

music (song) is thoughtform, energy, and i think it can evolve,

it spreads itself all over like a virus (summer hits, for example, or when you see it on tv or hear it on the radio, you listened to it before, but it wasn't worth attention),
gaining in strenght and exerting control, feeding off energy of emotions that it triggers in us,

music addiction can be compared to succubi/incubi relationships, when one side gets pleasure but loses energy (yeah you feel energised, but where all of this energy goes ??)

now when vampiric issues become involved, either the song doesn't bring emotions anymore couse:
-it used our energy, and brain is overstimulated and stops reacting to it
- you drain the energy of the song, or energy of emotions it generated in you, and "the slot is broken", overstimulation of the brain

the songs can be handy energy resources, i have to check it couse now i'm just making it up, but all of this energy should be accumulated somewhere

anyone thought about this and came to serious conclusions ??
