In my opinion, Frank Kepple is up there with the greatest in the field. On this site you can follow, through his posts, his knowledge and convictions' evolution. There's a huge amount of material to browse, but it is worth your time.

I believe that one of his weaknesses was his rejection of notions like karma, ...

Frank had some unworthy detractors, but they aren't worth paying attention to.

Although Frank Kepple wasn't a Buddhist in any way, I find this paragraph found on the internet fitting Frank's position too.

"Buddhism doesn't fit neatly into either category of religion or philosophy. When people asked Buddha what he was teaching, he said he teaches "the way things are." He said nobody should believe his teachings out of faith, but instead they should examine for themselves to see if they are true or not."

Great work finding and posting those links baro - thanks! I may have a leisurely re-read later.  :-)

If you are in line with his theories, then you'll enjoy his posts. He was a great mentor to me - always patient, full of knowledge and there seemed to be nothing more he'd rather do than talk about the non-physical.

As baro says, if you like what you've read so far, then it's well worth spending the time reading ALL his posts.
We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Volgerle

About 2-3 weeks ago I read the FK resource in full (after only skimming it years ago) and I am very impressed. I like his simplified Focus model (compared to Monroe) and share many of his views. The difference to my views I see in his view on (re-)incarnations and connected to that what constitutes the "Total Self / Higher Self / I-There / Oversoul" (or whatever you call it) which he calls the Primary Essence in F4. To me the difference is just the choice of words or some in semantics. I liked the fact that he supported the idea of chakras and energy bodies from his own experiences - with a necessary and justified warning about getting too much stuck on belief systems about it.

All in all it's a great read and it becomes clear that he was a very experienced NPMR researcher.

Several years ago I compiled all of Frank's post into an easy to read PDF.

Enjoy.

Kudos to Volgerle for an excellent abbreviated summary of FK's contributions. Frank offered a valuable condensation of the NP experience into 4 basic areas of Focus. His descriptions of NP experience were both confirming and illuminating.

Kudos especially to Xanth for putting in the time to gather all Frank's posts into one accessible source. I remember

Whatever happend to Frank? and thanks Xanth for putting all that together, really cool.

No consensus. Frank's own words indicated that he was having major health issues, and it is assumed that he passed away as a result of them.

His last post in the moderator forum alluded to that he doubted he would be alive for much longer.
Who knows... it all kind of seemed a little bit too neat and tidy way to finish up.  Who knows.

I'm assuming he died by now.  He helped around here too much and seemed to genuinely care too much to screw people over intentionally.

I guess two options are given.

He may be in France still in a peaceful lifestyle and stopped giving in energy telling/teaching his experiences after a while, just living his next decades or years as he mentioned he is in some kind of sharing, gardening, food growing life and he likes it. He just stopped paying attention teaching others.

Or on the other hand he gave so much knowledge out that he finally felt it is time to leave and this way he planned his exit on another level to return to the NP. Well he wrote many entries about this too because I've read through all of his post in his PDF once and made notes all the way. He shared this about the game of life and how "we" plan various diseases and illnesses to experience return and to not fool the game here.

Oh, and if anyone was wondering... if you check out Frank's profile, you'll quickly see that he logged in last year.
That was me logging onto his account.  I was curious if he had any PM's in his box which might have alluded to his current whereabouts.  :)

I've seen a few cases (on other boards) of knowledgeable people who spent a huge amount of time sharing what they knew, patiently and tirelessly teaching and helping everybody, getting trolled and disrespected, until eventually they got fed up, and abruptly left, never to return.

It might be Frank's case too.

That wouldn't have been him.  But then, I didn't know him.  I only knew what he shared.
There is a huge gap there, I admit.

Frank is a cool dude, but only a man lol.

He has sort of grown into a cult figure here... almost no one here really knew him. His thoughts and motives are between him and Cthulhu at this point...

Seems like he was very inspired by Seth with his "focuses"

Seth: "I told you that there was a Framework 3 and
mentioned a Framework 4 some time ago. You
must understand that I am making distinctions for
your benefit.

"Framework 2 is connected with the creativity and
vitality of your world. In your terms, the dead waken
in Framework 2 and move through it to Framework 3,
where they can be aware of their reincarnational
identities and connection with time, while being apart
from a concentration upon earth realities. In those
terms, the so-called dead dip in and out of earth
probabilities by traveling through Framework 2, and
into those probabilities connected with earth realities.

"Some others may wind up in Framework 4, which
is somewhat like Framework 2, except that it is a
creative source for other kinds of realities not
physically oriented at all and outside of, say, time
concepts as you are used to thinking of them. In
a way impossible to describe verbally, some portion
of each identity also resides in Framework 4, and
in all other Frameworks."
