What's left to learn at the top?

I'm curious as to what others do when they reach the top of mystic knowledge. Now I know, you can never reach the top there's always more to learn, blah blah mystical blah blah. But what I mean is when you go into your local New Age / Pagan store, conventions, authors, etc and even they don't know what to tell you cause you've read everything published and you know as much as anyone who's not residing on top of a mountain in tibet or india what then?

Climb a mountain? Keep going inward?

Really the only thing left for me to do is contact my holy guardian angel in a more efficient manner and have him tell me what to do. Oh just answered my own question.

If you think you're at the top and know more than most people, then your ego still has the upper hand, and that means there's definitely more work to do.

Hi,
Not directed at anyone, a thought rarely made...
If you know you know all there is then why do you ask? (obvious answer)
The gaining of knowledge creates a greater curiosity for learning. This learning is exponential in growth to that learned. ( the more you learn the less you know)
While oob in the RTZ have you looked inside an atom and brought this knowledge back? (has it even crossed your mind?)
There's no top, there's a greater understanding and even this is based on references to that already learned. (massively biased)
The best example is a chinese master talks to a nordic master. Each have great knowledge in their field.
No words are understood why?
(They each never learned the others language.)
The simple things in life are easy. The hardest thing in life is keeping things simple.
Case closed.

Thoughts anyone?

Plato said...

"I am the wisest man in Athens because I know I don't know. I am only singularly ignorant. The rest of the citizens are twice ignorant. They think they know, but they still don't know."

Ask three wise men the same question. They will each give you a different answer, but all of them will be right!  :-)

Hahah I like that Lion heart  :-D

Im guessing when we reach enlightenment we transcend into the light of our creator and help others to do the same, from where ever and in what ever form that might be  8-)

I guess reading everything that has been published won't make you more knowledgeable, but misled. As long as you believe in everything you read. And how could you tell the wheat from the chaff?

And how can you be sure that someone else needs the same kind of "enlightenment" that you've achieved?

Where's the point in existing if you can reach a state when there is no going further?
I am sorry, I am so, for the things you don't know
And as for the things you do, I am sorry for those too

I dont believe all that is published is misleading, but we do have our own minds that allow us to discern whats right for us.

rain_88

I never said that everything is misleading, but the amount of data is kind of huge, and the longer you search for info on a topic, the more controversial it gets :). Of course everyone uses their own judgement.

Hi,
Once you have reached as high as you're able you'll evolve. This puts you st the bottom of a new scenario.

I wasn't trying to sound like an butt but I realized that's what ended up happening. I just feel like I've pushed as nearly far as I can go and reached the top of my own personal level. When I first started there was a mountain of things I could learn, nearly every book I read teached me something. I was in a sea of riches. But now I feel like I'm in a vast desert.

Sorry if I don't sound like an enlightened adept, but I truly think that's just a bunch of crap. People are people, barely "above" monkeys. I know everyone likes to believe in idols and looks up to those who preach peace and unity, but these people are still just human. It's an unfortunate reality.

And yes I very much still have an ego, I am an ego. Apparently the truly wise ones merge with their Self and become something more. That's my current goal.

It's just depressing sometimes... there's no guidebook past this level.

Surely you're just at a personal plateau. I'll PM you something a bit more advanced that you might be looking for. Stuff that should keep you busy for years... or lifetimes.

Quotesomething a bit more advanced that you might be looking for. Stuff that should keep you busy for years... or lifetimes.

It's a disciplined path that requires a lot of daily work and introspection. You have to be ready for serious change that you bring on yourself through practice, so if you have a lot of habits and/or addictions, you have to be prepared to drop them. If you keep a dirty house, are unorganized, forget important things, or have an all-around chaotic lifestyle, you'll want to get those things under control first or you might not have what it takes to follow through.

Really, it's a path that's freely out there for anyone. It's free and easy to find, and is fairly well known in occult communities, but I hesitate recommending it due to the strict requirements. Steel Hawk seems like he needs a good challenge though . Feel free to PM me if you're serious.

Your right, there is no guidebook, the answers come from within!  :-) Truly listen to yourself and you will see what I mean!

rain_88

I think there is a possibility that by reading all those books you won't become more enlightened. But blue in the face :)...

If you feel like there is nothing left to learn by reading, maybe you could check the validity of all those things you know on an intellectual level. I am sure you won't feel like being in a desert or bored .)...

What's left to learn?

There is no top.   There isn't even a mountain.   :-)

maybe you could look sideways at the dark parallels where all the rules are reversed and everybody is stupid

there is always more to see and do

:NoY:

Thanks all. I don't know what I would do without you all... I've finally started I think on another layer. A different stage of consciousness where everything seems connected. I don't  understand it yet.

What you do is what makes the difference, books can offer advice and what Stookie sent was what I needed. Or just in general, a daily workout for the soul.

Things make more sense than they ever have. Lionheart is right that answers come from within. It's almost as my subconsciousness or higher self or Self or Great Man or HGA or soul is guiding me.

I can almost understand what people were talking about, the ego is just an illusion.

I'm finding more and more of my thoughts matching with the previous buddhas of the world. It's very odd that all paths lead to the same place. (not that I am a buddha)

Agree, we are each and every on of us on our own journey here.
