LOL..his he the character from Benny Hill?

Of course being from the States I don't know too much about your regular shows.  But I just love some of the shows on BBC.  oh, like... my favorite, "Keeping Up Appearances"  Got to love the way she say Bouquet, instead of Bucket..LOL. I use to watch "Upstairs, downstairs" and my new one is the....Oh, geez, I forgot the first part..I think it is the "Vicar Of Dublin"  oh but she is good!  Love her humor!

While I type this, my internet has gone down, but I'm able to type away..oh..goodies.[:D]  Think I'll chat away then...hmmmm...lets see, what else do I like on BBC..

They have their own version of "While You Were Out"  always fixen up the backyards.. Does everyone have fenced in backyards like that?  I would love a fence!  No worries for the little ones or the new dog that hopefully we will get one day.

Oh..and there is that one dude..sheesh, can't recall his name, but a talk show host..very british and funny!!

Oh..lookie there, my internet is up again..[:D]  So, guess I'll post this now... You'd think spending over a hundred dollars for internet and cable, it would work all the time..but oh, well..only a few minutes of time.[^]

Long before the current attempts at a lasting Peace Process in Northern Ireland , James Young was paving the way by getting both sides of the religious divide to laugh at themselves and their own petty bigotries.

Though I had never heard of him, it seems a good deal of his work had been to heal through laughter. He must have been quite a person. Thanks for sharing that website!

Very best,

I know I was (Great)British in a past life, because I 'get' the humor.  That's a lot for an American [;)]  Dave Allen and the 2 Ronnies....sigh, no longer on TV.
There is a physical limitation upon how much light a human body can sustain. Interestingly, there is no limit on how much light a human vessel can generate. When fully enlightened you must instill your light in order to maintain its wisdom.

'The Office' ROCKS! and is the first british tv comedy to win best comedy *in the US awards*, as far as I know..

Ricky Gervais' (David Brent's) award speach was priceless:
'yeah, we come from a little old country called England, you might have heard of it, we used to rule the world before you did!'... it got big laughs from the US audiance!

I hear they are planning a US version of the office, which I'm sure will be complete crap, but we'll have to see!

Almost forgot, for those who like Scottish comedy, 'Chewin the fat' is a great sketch show; Billy Boyd from 'Lord of the rings' converted the entire lotr cast to it when they were filming...

'Gonna no dae that... just, gonna no?'
hehe
