Is there a way I can invoke Anubis to help me travel into the astral?

Is there a way I can invoke Anubis to help me travel into the astral? I never seem to be able to make it. A friend of mine said that most astral projecting is blocked by a subconscious fear of leaving the body and that I could ask Anubis to aid me in blocking that fear. So, is there a way to invoke him in order to get into the astral?

You have the power to face and overcome the fear... But if you think invoking an entity will help you, all you have to do is ask. You don't even need to say it out loud, just formulate it in your mind and do not let go of it.


I don't know about a subconscious fear being the biggest block, though... I've had a couple times where I was scared at the onset of vibrations, but once you're out there, you don't feel fear anymore... It's a very mellow, peaceful state to be in, usually.

He is also the Guardian of Sacred Esoteric Mysteries.
He has two forms, that of a Jackal and that

Anubis is a Protector god.

Anubis can help you free yourself from the negativity
that can invade our lives.

He is a very powerful god and does not like to be called idly. 
Be very careful to show him the proper respect and reverence if you should call him.
Simple offerings are a good idea.  Coins, gemstones, flowers, etc.
Make sure you are grounded to Earth's energy before you attempt to call him and
it is wise to have your own guides and guardians around you.
A psychic friend of mine needed three of her guides to help her handle Anubis' powerful energy.

if you think invoking an entity will help you, all you have to do is ask. You don't even need to say it out loud, just formulate it in your mind and do not let go of it.

Make sure you know the faults and risks of asking such an entity to cooperate. Some of them once welcomed, don't seem to want to go away, ever.  Double check the details of this "contract" and ask yourself if you are willing to give up something for this deal, cause it surely ain't gonna be free and he might not want to tell you the details of it 

ps. Have you considered asking your own personal guides or you higher self to help you with this?

What if this entity doesn't exist at all?  And what is with this contract talk??  This is feeling a bit like negative entity talk.....  which I'm sure most know I do not hold much stock in.

I have a feeling that brainstorm could ask and ask until blue in the face and no entity known as Anubis would show up.  Maybe some bored evil doer that is dead now and can't get past their own hell, but not some ancient god of the dead.  IMO.

You know... Invoking Anubis is the same as invoking Jesus Christ... What you are calling on is not necessarily the entity itself, but putting forward everything it stands for.

Gnosticweb is a very scary place and I would warn anyone to stay away from it.

Interesting account Kiwi.  Once I said, "God will help me" and the....person that was on top of me, drooling into my mouth, disappeared.  God didn't show up, but I think my belief that I would be helped....helped.

I can't say too many things negative about them or the Master will use the physical laws and sue us for slander.....seriously.

I found that site before I found this one and the minute they told me to keep all of my dreams to myself, I knew something was amiss and not to mention all the chants, what is up with that?  I'll tell you...cult mentality, period.

I'm not a big fan of ritualistic activities, imo it breeds superstitions and takes away from personal power.

In short, the trio of Xweb sites in my opinion presents a limited viewpoint on spirituality and the inner worlds, and seems somewhat dogmatic. I found that site years ago and went thru the courses.  While I think the printed book does give some simple, yet effective methods for inducing OBE, like concentrating on your heart, visualizing a temple in your heart, certain mantras have worked for me effectively as well.  I also think the visualization exercises and validation "am I awake" pull you finger checks throughout the day are helpful.

However, several other things I found disturbing and caused me to rarely, if ever return.

*Many posts get deleted on the forums if they don't coincide with the xWeb thought.
*Saying there is only one specific path, this one and if you fail you will burn in hell for eons while burning off all of your egos, then reincarnate through the cycle of mineral, plant, etc.....
*When someone asks a question on the forum, it is rarely answered, but met with "Better if you take the course to get the answer to that question because it wouldn't make sense now if we did tell you"

Those are a few examples.

As far as the protection chants/circle thing I used it for a while  I never could find those chanted word meanings anywhere, or any explanation, so I stopped.  Whereas maybe learn the more established LBRP, Rose Cross, rituals for protection etc( I am slowly learning now.)
