Hi everyone,
I was curious if you had any recommend sound tracks to listen to when trying to have an OBE. I've had lots of SP experiences in the past so I know what feeling I'm looking for but I just need help triggering it more often. For some reason I could always get weird sensations that things are near me, breathing on me, even getting physical with me (pushing me down on my bed/moving my body into a different position) but as soon as I mentally told myself that these things can't hurt me and its just in my head it all stopped so I'm trying to get it back after I discovered this is a nice starting point to get an OBE.
I've been reading and lots of people mention to visualize something when you are relaxing to help you ignore the vibrations/sounds, does anyone have any recommended sound tracks to listen too to help you get to the vibration stage? Also what should you be trying to visualize? I also have synesthesia which I think I can use as an advantage as any music I hear it will naturally create an image in my head without me having to actively think about anything, so its almost like a music video that is created on the fly by the music itself and I'm just observing what it creates.
Can I simply just let the music draw the picture for me or am I suppose to be actually mentally trying to visualize a location or doing something physical? The images produced by sound are usually abstract in nature such as orbs/vectors/colors unless I actively try to transform them into something non-abstract.
Thanks!
Hello, check out this thread. It may help you! :-)

I also like to listen to music found on Youtube by Paul Collier. Check out his playlist there.
Good Luck and Safe Travels! :-)
Thanks so much for the post! I do have a question though when I'm getting immersed in these visuals do I just enter the musical scene and ignore everything else if I start noticing vibrations occurring? I recall actually getting so immersed in the visuals that I can place myself into the musical landscape and interact with the new reality created for me. This isn't OBE I don't believe as once the music stops so does the world. Or perhaps could I transition from this musical world into an OBE just like people go form a Lucid dream into an OBE?
I have a friend with synaesthesia who practically worships Perpetuum Mobile by Penguin Cafe Orchestra. It's very chipper and relaxing. I don't have synaesthesia but when I listened to it I told her I saw a sunny forest clearing with fairies and she laughed, saying she got a similar vibe.

This technique is known as Phasing/Noticing. When the visuals become as real as they are in your physical reality, you are already there. No need to project at all. You are already in the NPR.
When the vibrations start or any other of the various "sign posts", just passively observe them and then move on.
When the music stops the visuals stop only if you ALLOW that to happen. Just ignore that the music is not there any more or at this point you can return to the 3D dark zone/grey zone and just start a new scenario without the music. The music is there to set the adventure in action. You can easily do this without music too, but I find that music calms the mind and helps the shift to occur much easier.
Thanks for the replies and I'll check out that music as well!
Awesome I had no idea that was the case. I only did it a few times before I knew about OBE's and you're right, I actually told myself to end the journey as my friend who also can visualize music a little was sitting besides me and I wanted to tell him about the crazy experience I just had. I had goose bumps all over me.
Wow I just listened to a little bit of Perpetuum Mobile and what an amazing visual. Flowers blooming, amazing landscapes, rock formations with moss all over them. If your friend has any more recommendations I would love to hear them. Thanks!
