:? Hi, I am new to this.  The topics seem to be about people that are in control of this.  I need help, not sure if i am astral projecting or lucid dreaming or what.  As soon as I fall asleep I get A horrible buzzing in my head and I am sucked so fast out of my body that I think I am going to go so far that I wont get back.  I was wondering if anyone has had this happen.  I never tried lucid dreaming or astral projection, it just started happening to me and when I looked it up (since I thought a demon was after me) it sounded like astral or lucid dreaming.

Only twice did I come out of my body slow enough to get control.  The first time It happened I came out of my body, went through the ceiling like thick jello, then several invisible layers, then shot through space.  I was looking at nebula's and then I knew there was one more layer to go through but I knew somehow if I went past it I would not come back.  So now I am scared to be moving so fast after being pulled from by body.

I read some people talking about some rope or cord but I don't see one.  I really hope someone can help me because the two times I came out slow and got control were awesome experiences.

Welcome to the Pulse!

If you went through that experience without having any prior knowledge of AP, then I tip my hat to you! That was a lot to take in and you held yourself together very well to have continued the experience as long as you did.

Everything you are describing is normal early on and with more experiences the speed and noise and intensity will lessen and you will feel more control. Just stay calm and curious and allow the experience to take you where it will.

The key is to be in control of your emotions and not let any fear or doubt take over which become greatly magnified in this environment and will negatively alter your experience.

This Non-Physical environment is very safe and if you don't actively go looking for trouble, you shouldn't run into any. Always know that you are safe and protected.

Also start thinking about places or people you would like to visit, form this desire into a short, simple mental statement that will be triggered the next time you find yourself "out"; this is what we call having an INTENT and you will find it a necessary thing to help you navigate.

Check out the dark blue stickies at the top of this board and the Welcome To Out of Body Experiences board for topics that will answer some more questions for you; anything else, just ask.

Well done!

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Hi and welcome to the pulse.
What a starter. Have you had many experiences like this when very young?

When I was a teen it did happen a few times that I remember but was told it was contributed to sleep apnea by the adults so I believe if I felt it start to happen I would panic.  I do not think it happened as child.  Thank goodness for the internet because I tried asking people if this ever happened to them and that looked at me crazy.

I actually thought the boogie man was after me because in one of my first experiences I was hearing something evil.  Now I am just excited to get control and see what I can do with this.

I am not scared but I shoot out so fast that I can't get control even though I am perfectly aware of what is happening.  Last night I told myself to seek a guide and a face came into view but then would start morphing into other faces.

As soon as I fall asleep I get A horrible buzzing in my head and I am sucked so fast out of my body that I think I am going to go so far that I wont get back.  I was wondering if anyone has had this happen.

That's funny, the same exact thing happened to me this morning. I woke up around 4 am, then after drinking some water I got awake and I wasn't going to pass out ride away, so I decided as I was falling back to sleep, to imagine my bed spinning and lifting up going through the roof. After I fell asleep, I was woken up in sleep paralysis, my ears were buzzing and I realized it was AP time. As I was aware I was laying in bed with my eyes closed, I imagined shooting up through the roof, and it happened. I shot so fast, gained vision during the flight up and saw that I was getting very high in the atmosphere and the lights from the streets were getting smaller and smaller. I freaked out a little, but the same second I thought flying back down and instantly I lowered myself to the ground. From there I just thought of a location I wanted to be and I got teleported so to speak. So, when you get too fast to a location that makes you uncomfortable, just use your thoughts and you will instantly get where your request to be. The most important thing to realize about AP is that thoughts are your navigator and they create things. Also you need to apply intent of what you want.

Referred to as a cannonball exit :)

That was, from what I remember, Frank's way of projecting during his early years here at the Pulse.  If you read his posts, you'll see how he learned to control the process over time.  :)

This is already helping me, last night I was able to get some control and put my hands out beside me in thick liquid to slow myself.  And It is good to know that other people have experienced this and I have a term to put with it.  I am excited and can't wait for bedtime to try it out again.

How do I find this Frank's posts?

A few years ago (WOW.. 4 years ago now!  >_< time flies) I had taken all of the helpful posts Frank had made on this forum and compiled them into a document to read through.

You can download it from a link on my website:  http://www.unlimitedboundaries.ca/2010/09/01/frank-kepples-astral-pulse-posts/
