Is it easier to project around a full moon?

Don't know if it would help me to project, but a full moon always makes it near impossible for me to sleep!

Yes, a full moon helps (maybe due to the effect on one's ability to sleep, as James indicated). I've also noticed that, as a female, certain times of the month are pretty consistently better than others. Otherworldy experiences usually accompany my PMS - - - comes with the sensitivity, I guess. Maybe you didn't need to hear that, but oh well I'm throwing it out anyway!

My wife has another theory on OBEs at this time - it comes from really wanting to get away of your body!

I did not really think about it at the time but the other night when the Moon was at its fullest I could not sleep hardly at all. It has gotten a little better the past few nights now that it is waning.

I do not know about the Moon phase helping projection or not. I never really paid attention.

I have been curious about this myself, and have been experimenting with moon magik. We have just passed through a full moon. It was Tuesday august 12th, 2003. For the past couple of months I have been noticing that the astral sky seems to become brighter as the moon waxes to full in the physical. It appears as a sunrise over many nights. This is the view I find from the lowest planes. On the Full moon it appeared as a blazing noon moon to me. While I belive you can project any time you wish, it is a strong will and uncorruptable intent which realeases you. As I understand the full moon is powerful for astral magik, meditation, and ritual. It must be easier to go within the dark recesses of the mind when the full moon reflects the sun's light.[

A full moon Does help with projecting OOB. I had an ethereal projection on Tuesday night. (See my post titled 'Ethereal Projection "Tuned In'). Somebody mentioned that there was a big full moon that night.
It is well known that a full moon does have a big effect on peoples' behaviour. For example - crime rates go up during nights of a full moon. So it would follow that a full moon also affects (positively) a person's ability to go out of body. [:O][

ITs all in their heads, I think having a full mooon does not effect your spiritual being.

I think when its storming it effects you spiritualy when you are AP/OBE.
