Hello all. If any of you are like me, I have often found myself half in and half out of my body not being able to fully project because I'm stuck. Well, last night, my higher self shared this technique with me and it worked wonders so I'd like to pass it on in case it helps others too.

Once your astral arms are out, pull up both your knees to your chest, wrap your arms around your legs and lock your hands, firmly. Then roll over to the side. You are out.

Did your higher self impart the reasoning why you would bring your knees up to your chest?
This sounds like a straight up rolling out exit with just that difference.

*curious*  :)

Well, I think it was because my legs were stuck. Which is what usually happens to me. And I gathered after, that by the time you pull your legs up, you are pretty much out anyway, cause you are "sitting on yourself".

Thanks for replying :)

I projected for the first time last night! I remember being above my bed and looking down on my body for about 10 seconds. Unfortunately, that's all I can remember. But hey, it's a start!

I used the rope method. It worked great.

And I have a question. I remember last night my body jerked. I might've been asleep or projecting, but I remember my entire body jumped up above my mattress maybe 3 inches, as if I had been struck by lightning or something. I thought it was my astral body coming back to my physical one, could this be it?

I also always thought it was my astral body coming back to my physical body, but I also found this as an explanation. Hope this will help.  :-)

I'm not sure if you're experiencing this sensation, but a sudden movement as the body falls asleep is called a hypnic jerk. My body jerks / contorts rapidly for a split second everytime I doze off or begin falling asleep.

And thanks for the tip: I have had that problem of not being able to fully "leave" but am in the state.
